My boyfriend bought me the blue Pan Am book a couple of years ago for a big trip I took to South America. He's a big stationery junkie and has had and used the 5th anniversary camel for a number of years on many trips. I've used mine on two big month long trips since then and a couple of smaller ones. But this year i decided to use it for everyday because I loved using it so much when I traveled. So now I've just discovered that Travelers notebooks are a bit of a fad on youtube, pinterest etc, so now i am really obsessed, and can't wait to use mine continuously... please keep making content, I can't get enough!

I'm with you :) I have a brown regular size I use at home for journaling/art & a camel passport that I carry
I agree with the weight issue and thickness, my favorite is the standard size so once I put the inserts in along with all the other random favorite items - from everyday use by the end of a month my notebook is about 2+ inches thick and around 2+lbs. In my purse, for everyday carry, I do use the smaller size TN and only have 1 insert for notes plus a monthly calendar.

I love the brown! I actually find that my brown standard size has worn in easier than my camel! They are all gorgeous notebooks though! (:
Actually color only has a slight effect on the wear and what shows. It’s. The type of leather that it is made from. And i am referring to the cut of leather full grain vs top grain or bicast or suede etc. Also quite often when people get spills or stains they immediately want to wipe them which is the worst thing you can do to leather. Corn starch or baking soda set on until dry is much better then carefully swept off vs rubbed will make a huge difference. Most people also don’t provide leather care often enough or do it too often and do it incorrectly. Color is way down on the list.
I've used the regular sized black for a couple years now. Definitely need to add the camel passport and/or regular !! Yours are beautiful.
I just love the patina and the wear on the camel one but I'm so conflicted because I have a passport-sized traveler's notebook from another maker (Journals By Joey, formerly Naked Cow) in a similar color that I treasure so much... it doesn't seem super likely that the navy one will come out again soon, so I might get the camel one anyway!
Thanks for sharing your collection! I love seeing the aged leather on your passport notebooks! I can't wait for mine to look like that :) I have one of each color and couldn't choose just one favorite, I love them all. I also keep my pencil in the elastic, its easy and doesn't add any extra bulk. Could you do a video on how you decorate your bookmarks? Or maybe just show them in more detail? The beads add such a cute touch!

Hi Julia! Thank you for your question. No, the regular size is is own sis itself. It's slightly taller than an A5, and slightly wider than an A6.

You might try doing some searches on RUclips for the other sizes. There are plenty of companies (Chic Sparrow, Foxy Fix, etc.) that make beautiful Fauxdori notebooks in other sizes and a multitude of colors. She is only covering the original Midori Traveler's Company notebooks here in this video.
