I am new in the world of Midori Traveler's note and I just ordered mine from a friend who makes Midori covers using fabrics and she include inserts as well. It is much cheaper than buying an original Midori Traveler's note. This will give me a lot of ideas on how to use it. I can't wait to get it started! The package is arriving soon!

LOVE the idea of using a midori as a dream board. i had bought a Miquelruis to just as a faux hobonichi which i thought about using as my dream/vision board journal, but i like the idea of using a midori instead. your midori is awesome - i LOVE the lived in look of a stuffed journal!

I'm a nooby to the Midori world...I've ordered my regular size Traveler's Notebook and am so excited! Yours is lovely, thanks for sharing! Would you mind showing how you actually put all your notebooks in? That part is kind of confusing to me, how they all fit together. I get the basics up to 3 notebooks, after that it gets tricky! Thanks!

Ooooo.... I need to pick up some of those paint daubers. Looks lovely. Is that the standard midori insert that you used paint on or the sketchbook one? Any issues with bleed through or do you gesso your pages first? Awesome video and I can't wait for your next one! :)
Hi there! No issues with bleed through on the midori brand paper. I use the normal notebook in my journal if I double he colour up sometimes I might get a little ghosting but that's it! I don't gesso this journal at all

I am considering ordering the light refill as it has more pages, but will it hold well with some ink and paint? I can't find the sketchbook refill anywhere. What are your thoughts on that? Ballsy. I'm afraid to put full flips of my journals because I'm scared somebody is gonna pause it and zoom in and read something uber personal then come make fun of me for it in the comments or something lol. Drawings are one thing but journals are a whole nother fettle of kish. I applaud your bravery. 👏

Hi Suzanne! I actually pre colour most times although I use pens that don't shift if I decide to colour afterwards! I am starting a new series of journal vids where you watch me work in my midori soon!
