It’s an ILL track. People hate having to listen to lyrics and song with no drums. Em sounded dope/honest and Beyonce sounded angelic.
Ppl just love to hate Eminem. He’s been VERY inconsistent since 2003 (amazing 96-03) for various reasons that everyone should know but some ppl give him no credit when he comes up with great songs like this.

I love this song it has a lot of meaning and feeling in it and love the background in the music u can hear Eminem ripping paper and writing lyrics to get it just right. Love the simple beautiful piano and that harp or 🎻 or cello playing with Beyonce sounding like an angel.Eminem Hitting us with those meaningful bars and yeah they both just killed it.
I been a fan of Em since I was like 9 since my oldest sis played his music in the house all the time 😂 and I don’t know why some people hate that Eminem doing something different or isn’t the same as he used 2 be. I like when artists try different things because it can get boring when it’s just the same thing each time on the album and when he does go back to how he used to be it will just make it that much special.
Because artists doing something different can recharge the soul and he can come back that much stronger but that is just my opinion) but great reaction beautiful ladies and I also got hit with the feels in this song

I think people that don't like it, are so caught up in the new wave of Mumble Rap that they forget Hip-Hop originally started as human expression during the early day of DJ Block Parties back in "75 and giving the people of the street a voice to be heard, I'm a Hip - Hop Artist myself and Em was a big inspiration to me and the song that gave me life funny enough was Stan, and De'sean he mentions was his best mate and first believer that use to go by the Name of Proof. I personally love Walk On Water Because being an artist that writes my own stuff and always going through the same thing thinking i wrote something great listen to it and hate it then go back to writing the song again it takes me weeks to write a decent track cause once you put it out there people hear it and its not the best or its garbage and tear you down you will be looked at as a try hard or worst, It Saddens me to know that people have forgotten the true meaning of Hip-Hop. And would call something as brilliant as this song shit.
