An entirely different subject however it does have one -mighty expensive- irritation (which I am pleased to see they have corrected in the P8): the carbon fibre splitter doesn't have a backing "steel toe" as you can see at 20:28 which means one fateful night one tiny bump and the carbon fibre shattered like...carbon fibre. 2.7k to replace!
Harry, your videos helped convince me to buy my Project 8 and I've never regretted it. I just wish I could drive it more and not worry about other people hitting it in parking lots, etc.
Excellent. I used to have a regular chassis alignment done on my Aston, made a big difference. Last year, I had it done on my Range Rover, couldn't believe how much difference it made to it!
I'm certainly no expert but I get the feeling from the video that the "Nurburgring" spec is obviously a more track focused setup but still gives a nod to road use rather than full on track use. I'm just trying to relate this to bikes where the optimum setup for short circuit use is very different to that required for long, fast, bumpy road circuits like the TT.
The difference between the XE spoiler and the one on the Countach is that the latter is for visual effect only. The boot lid it is bolted to would be damaged by any useful downforce and its only aerodynamic effect is to reduce the Countach's top speed.

Having seen this video Harry, hate to tell you but you really need the Camaro ZL1/1LE. It did the Nurburgring in 7:16 (allegedly went faster) with a 6MT and RWD. It comes with factory track specs and adjustments and is only 3800lbs.
Fantastic car, I notice it is running Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres. I'm considering putting Pilot Sport cup's on the rear of my car, W204 Merc C63 2010 (N/A engine) stage 1 map to 500bhp+. I am running Pilot Sport 4S all round at the moment but they struggle even in the dry and the car has a Quaife LSD fitted. Anyone got experience of these tyres on a road car?
This is fantastic .. one observation though. When the car is delivered in non Nurburgring spec, it should have a "fast road" dynamic setup... then when you make the physical hardware changes, it should get plugged into the computer and dynamic get's a new set of parameters to match the new race spec.. IMHO.
Another reason for making manual changes rather than a button …. A friends F Type last week got a glitch where the dash all lit up thinking it was a Range Rover ….. He has got photographic proof of the display ….. sadly the QA at Jag/LR continues to let the side down :(

Expected a newer Jag part to fail already and not covered by warranty with a known issue by Jag, my NSX had rear tire wear problems and as a result had to change the rear toe in, great for track but not for everyday use
I have only just noticed it is LHD, did they not do a RHD model ?.
This will be very interesting! 👍😀 Well that really is some car, oh so capable with oodles of character, hope you enjoy it Harry. Oh and don’t forget, new tyres please sir! 😂🤣😂👏👍😀
You can see David is so passionate about the P8 - great to see!
I love hat car. Will you get the project 9 when its releases?
he has done my M2 C and I can confirm he is the master!
Looks rubbish. Steering wheel is on the wrong side. Closest we'll get to a British car so at least make the effort to use one with the correct driver position.
24:38 you know they gave that Jag a hell of a test drive when they come out smiling like that lol.
A reminder, if it were needed, of Jaguar's racing / speed pedigree and dedication to maintaining the reputation of the marque.
Probably the final 200mph supercharged V8 from Jag ... but what a way to go out in style.
Harry, you have a knack of making me really want things I never knew I wanted! Nice video and lovely car. Cheers
Excellent update Harry. I love the setup depth. Some toe and caster can always help a car turn. An impressive car setup for the track.
Hi Harry! Really enjoy watching your videos! I would like to see you review the Honda S660 roadster as a cute little car, you can even compare it with your Elan as well!
Out of the garage trade for a long time. More fascinated by that twin Post lift 😊!
I'm really interested how the Porsche Spec tires work with the completely different weight distribution of a Front Engine 4 door car?
SVO - Special Vehicle Operations. Formerly the "Saturday Club" - Jaguar Cars LTD version of Skunk Works, formed in the early 50's the group comprised of around 12 engineers that brought 5 Le Mans wins. Against works Ferrari & Mecedes Benz.
Some history.
Hey hey fucknnn hey LOL it's ya goofy m8te from Australia 😆 love ya show [ HOLDEN COMMODORE VE UTE HSV Maloo R8 E series LS3 turbo start up accelerate sound ] - mate type that in on utube watch n enjoy...it only goes for 1.56 sec but wait till you see it..on a big screen..[ let me know what you think about the car in a reply ] ya goofy m8te from Australia
Fantastic! Looking forward to more track content. That v8 sounds amazing too
This is fantastic .. one observation though. When the car is delivered in non Nurburgring spec, it should have a "fast road" dynamic setup... then when you make the physical hardware changes, it should get plugged into the computer and dynamic get's a new set of parameters to match the new race spec.. IMHO.
Thanks Harry, just had my car correctly adjusted by Matt, unbelievable difference. Highly recommended 👌
Another reason for making manual changes rather than a button …. A friends F Type last week got a glitch where the dash all lit up thinking it was a Range Rover ….. He has got photographic proof of the display ….. sadly the QA at Jag/LR continues to let the side down :(
The springs applying too much torque. It needs assembling with molly grease or relieving the torque before adjusting.
