I was a big fan of this vlog. There was humor, a loose flow, and some good banter. Yet it was informative and took a good snapshot of the trip. As some honest critique, sometimes your vlogs tend to be too serious and focused on the facts of a situation. I am sure you're both having fun, but that fun doesn't always translate. I don't mean being ALWAYS positive (we all like to see the truth of a situation and not just the silver lining), but allowing the audience to enjoy the trip as much as you both do. Thanks for the channel and keep up the good work!
Don't know what you are complaining about, when I go to Europe almost every year for the last 6 to 7 years minus one year, the flight time out of Australia is 8 hours to Singapore, then 13 and a half hours to London with a total travel time of around 28 hours or more.
Oh and a big tip,if you can,have your stopover in singapore cause if you have enough time,they have luxury shower rooms in the airport that are really reasonably priced and they provide towels,shampoo,conditioner,soap etc. When you've finished you can relax in their luxury seating areas that usually have a restaurant and bar while you wait for your transfer flight. When your flying from say,London to NZ it is the best thing in the world being able to get back on another plane fresh and clean,trust me! I'm sure some other countries provide this service but Singapore is second to none in my opinion.

I've flown with multiple airlines,economy,premium economy and business class to different countries (kiwi who lives in london) and never have I had to pay extra for food/drinks or movies,didn't even know that was a thing! Guess I now know not to travel with jetstar. One thing I always look forward to is how crisp and fresh the morning air is when you walk out of Auckland airport...thats when I know I'm home!

If you want full service don’t buy the cheap flights on the cheapest airlines - you get what you pay for. I don’t mind flying Jetstar between Australia and New Zealand as its only a 3 1/2 hour flight, however to the States its always Qantas Or Air New Zealand depending who’s has the best deal. Qantas is good, however Air New Zealand is the best.
Well I guess this international trek was abit easier than one you undertook not long ago...Brazil to Peru comes to mind :) Though the in-flight aromatics emitted from a fellow passenger didn't help this time I'm sure. Gee can't the wind-breaking stay OUTSIDE the plane? lol
You can fly direct to Auckland from Honolulu on either Air NZ or Hawaiian and at very reasonable rates...FIji Airways through Nadi Fiji is probably also a more convenient option than flying all the way to Australia first.. Just in case people think they have to :-) I'm sure you got a good deal though with Jetstar though...
Nothing to do with your actual clip....but who puts a gas stove underneath cupboards...I didn’t see a range hood....poor ventilation for smoke to escape or potential fire hazard...lol....but love your channel, and like seeing a different insight from people that live elsewhere when there visiting NZ...weather it’s good or bad....

Recently fell out of love, you guys accepting and promoting $$$$ tours (eg Brasil luxury cruise in the Amazon , Hawaii Sheraton) where I was thinking they are 'sell outs' hard selling Patreon etc ,, they are becoming vlog /patreon sponsored tourists ? I loved the Flight video, half price (good) , then won't pay for $7 Movies (what ?) >? Traveling Economy good ! As for food on long hauls, look around . Moms with kids have pre prepared Tupperware with excellent food (we did the same with our kids) . Do the same vs pay for horrible airline pre-purchased meals ? The attraction of your website is as much as how you travel cheaply and hints like the Cards ( Sign up air mile bonuses and Perks like the Priority pass) = value for readers. hi there^^ i wonder how you guys get cheap flight tickets. Is it from website like skyscanner? If so is it reliable?? I mean i have heard so many bad comments about not getting a ticket booked at all or sometimes the third party flight companies will just cancel your ticket at last minute.
Yep, exactly, skyscanner and other apps. Often we'll find the inexpensive tickets using one of those website, then just go to the airline website itself to do the actual booking.
I've flown quantas , Emirates, jetstar, virgin blue, air nz, Malaysian, jet star was the worst air new Zealand was the best. I expected Emirates to be the best but air nz is light years ahead of them. And there staff range in age from there 20s to 60s. They concentrate on service not how beautiful there staff. A really fantastic air line.

As experience travelers, they should have known this when they made their Jetstar reservations. Yes. it is only a 3 -3.5hr flight time between Australian east coast and NZ not 5 hours. Yes, NZ is 2 hours ahead of Australia. by the way 'stewardess' are a female term. The correct term is flight attendants that covers both male and female cabin crew.
