Further to my previous comment, I've heard some people play Asturias technically briliantly but somewhat mechanically. This performance has the fire it is supposed to have, and I particularly like the rasgueos. A real pleasure.
I have played guitar for 60 years, mostly electric finger style. Based on hearing Tavi play Cordoba C5 I ordered one today ! I am ready to escape my comfort zone. Buenos Dias, senior !
Kp you should listen to Roland Dyens’ concerto Métis I,II,III As a classical guitarist he composed the whole score, the guitar and orchestra go quite well in this instance
@@KP-by4eu 1. You can have a preference but no one can say this or that instrument is "better" Utter drivel. 2. I know someone who rubbishes both violin and piano in favour of a church organ. So you're mistaken on both counts. 3. At least in your later comment you get round to saying "I think...."
this might be the best recording of acoustic guitar ever, the engineering is spectacular,.... his playing is so elegant and accurate...the guitar is up to the task
I've read a nice phrase once: The amateur practices until he can play a tune without error, the master practices until it's impossible for him to make an error.
Utterly masterful. Brilliant technique, and played with a strong sense of dynamics. He gives the piece narrative, rather than just flash. I hope this man is recording if he can play other work this incredibly well.
This is a beautiful piece and was awesomely executed by this musician. The guitar sounds so good, too. Everything was great, thanks ! Makes me want to buy a classical now.
Spectacular! This is a sign of great proficiency when only one person plays but it seems like there are TWO of them, I mean, when someone can play both solo and rhythm at the time. Meanwhile I suck even at penthatonic scales.... People like Sr. Jinariu are true inspiration.
Very nice performance and a delight to have close up view of the finger work. Thankyou. Very interesting to see some parts played in very different positions to how I learnt it, especially in the final section.
I was pleased to read your bio, because I have been a fan of Christopher Parkening for years, and have his books on guitar. I began with flamenco (though I'm still not even an intermediate player) and gravitated toward classical. Wish I had started when I was young!
Hi William, yes I still use the Parkening method to this day for all my students. It's never too late. Check out some of the lessons at www.EliteGuitarist.com to go to the next level.
Hi Tavi, Saw the Córdoba demo of the new Stage nylon electric. Could you demo it again but playing more serious pieces….Asturias, Recuerdos de la Alhambra….show us the real potential of the instrument. Always enjoy your prolific playing. Thank you..
Yes, although the only way to play it requires 2 years to play the classical guitar (obviously with the master guide) and master what the ''Tremolo''. The position depends on the speed of the person, little by little the experience can get to play, and of course, reading sheet music, if you do it to pure '' tab'' I tell you that you go astray in music. -Greetings from Colombia!
Lmao , this piece took me 6 months to master , as a beginner of classical guitar , I started to learn to play Asturias on my second month of classical guitar and I got it all down with all the tehnique , what would really take 2 years it's La Catedral
How the hell do you that rasguado at 2:58 with that wrist flick? So cool .... Love this version with all the rasguados .... so well played. ... this and Pepe Romero 's version are probably my faves My Cordoba c7 doesn't sound as good .... But I don't think that it's the guitar .....
So, I basically compare every performance of this piece against John Williams' performance. This compared very favorably. I don't know how this performance was mic'd but the guitar projected excellently and was warm while still being sharp and precise.
Any model classical guitar would sound fabulous in the hands of a master guitarist like Tavi! That said, this instrument is beautifully vibrant, however I prefer rosewood back and sides for its richness and warmth.
Brilliantly played and a really nice sounding guitar. Every note was as clear as a bell. A pleasure to watch and listen to.
Wdym first barchord is not played cleanly...
Still a great performance though
Nice looking and nice sounding guitar. Great execution for sure.

THis man, amongst the best in the world, make it look all too easy. What an amazing talent.
I agree!
I taught him everything I know!
I could listen to him all day. A fantastic musician. And very inspiring.

Hope the new classical journey is treating you well!
Wow!! This piece can be heard performed by all kinds of musicians here at RUclips. This rendition is pure artistry.
Listen to Ana Vidovic playing the same
A really nice rendition of the slow part. I love the little rasgueos he built in
You cannot justifiably give this rendition a thumbs down.
This proves that is not about how expensive a guitar is, but about how good you are!
When asked about strings he said "Strings sound like strings.":)
He shows he likes the song and he likes playing it. Passion.
This is his interpretation
@@akegan Yes, it is! And it is the best I've found so far.
I wish I spent the years learning electric guitar on learning classical guitar. It's beautiful.

@@KP-by4eu Yes, it right. But, how does it make electric guitar better than classical guitar ?
@@KP-by4eu in my op classical musics sounds better on classical guitar
You can still learn how

Classic guitar *
A very interesting performance. Not a boring moment.
Wow such a flawless performance, you must have practiced this a billion times

I have heard this piece played by many but very very few come close to Tavi on this one.
This is a beautiful piece and was awesomely executed by this musician. The guitar sounds so good, too. Everything was great, thanks ! Makes me want to buy a classical now.
Hahaha thats what they going for!
Cordoba guiitars are the best to play this classical Spanish music. They give you the best sound. This is not an advertisement.
Another wonderful gift. Thank you. Restores my faith in the beautiful. Hello from Canada.
Beautiful piece. I grew up with a stepfather from Asturias (spain).

Esecuzione perfetta, emozionante. Che maestro Tavi Jinariu , incredibile. ❤️
I used to be able to play this song when I was taking classical guitar
class. It was the only song I play for the whole semester
This is what you watch and listen to in order to check and if you need to study and practice more. Great performance!

Cordoba guitars are so expressive but of course, the guitar player is one of a kind too!
Wonderful. That's a beauty of a guitar.
BRAVO!! Masterful playing, maestro. Simply stunning.
Master class by Tavi Jinariu
Este músico-máster es de lo genial...cuando lo escucho dice: quítense que ahí les voy...formidable ejecución
Very nice performance, guitar sounds very much like a very special track I heard for David Russell
Loved it. Timeless... Que viva Asturias carajo
Great Player and Great Sounding Guitar! 😊
But can he play smoke on the water?
I hope not.
@@debbie94510 You're great😂😂😂😂
It can be played by a dog... it's so easy
Eugene Debs. Does he know smoke gets in your eyes.
hahaha epic comment, showing perfect understanding with just the right punch from underlying irony.
Beautiful performance, beautiful guitar, beautiful tone.
Melodic and full with passion.
Beautifully played! And what a beautiful sounding guitar!
I am overawed by the outstanding E bass. Sounds like Church Bells's strokes on Good Friday
Tremelo....the best gift we've ever received
The best performance ever I seen in youtube bravo
Wonderful performance on a great sounding guitar🤗
High-quality video, very good musician and a wonderful guitar!
A nice warm sounding guitar, he plays this the same way as my late father.
One of the best performances, if not the best I've heard in my opinion, thanks a lot :)
I closed my eyes and let me take for the music. So good to hear it!
