- Classical guitarist, Tavi Jinariu, performs Recuerdos de la Alhambra on a Cordoba Torres model from the Master series. This guitar is handmade in Oxnard, CA and resembles the smaller body and shorter scale of Torres' original 1888 design (25.2 in / 640 mm scale length), while taking other design elements from his 1860 and 1864 models for the neck, headstock, bridge and decorative elements. A few modern refinements such as a truss rod, geared tuning machines, durable finish, and non-gut strings were added to improve on what was not available in the 1800s but are essential today. The result is an instrument that exemplifies authentic Torres designs, voicing, and feel, and captures a rare piece of guitar making history.

One of the best renditions of this famous piece. Absolutely stunning
this guitarist is always a personal top favorites anytime i search for a classical guitar standard
Articulated tremolos that compliment the melody so well as to give the impression of two guitars. His performance grades the tonality so well on such a bright and crisp sounding guitar.🤗
He did not put a foot wrong with this very difficult piece..Sustained Tremolo at its best..what more can you say other than: "MAGIC".....
Bolero
Beatiful
it is not really that difficult but he still played it well
@@fraserpye9667 my fingers hurt just watching it.
@@markissac133 Mark your response to Sh--Cu-- was overly gracious. That idiot (or asshole) would claim Einstein's theory of relativity was no big deal, he could easily come up with it. And Heifetz was a second rate fiddle flop you can find equaled on any street corner. Unfortunately we live in a world where such human trash resides along with Christ and God-given virtuosos.
What an incredible talent! I bet he put in the work to play like that!
i hear soooooo many people completely and utterly butcher this piece on yourube that its rare I click on a link anymore for fear of having to go running and screaming for it to stop!
glad I clicked on this one... PERFECT!
Amazing performance so clear and so wonderful to hear
Beautiful! Thank you. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
¡Excelente! es una de las mejores interpretaciones que he escuchado. El trémolo sale "redondo" y el tiempo sí transporta a La Alhambra. ¡Felicidades!
A timeless piece of art beautifully interpreted.
Wow! Nice tremolo. I love his playing.
Bravo Maestro Tarrega. This music could only come from such a sensitive soul.
Very proficiently played. The antique guitars always have that 'special' tone that makes them a delight to listen to.
This was just so good, beautifully played, have been trying
for 2 years to get the tremolo.excellent
Really superb 👏🏽 maybe the best I’ve heard loved his expression 👍🔥
Beautiful tone technique and interpretation..not too fast but fast enough to create a wonderful tremelo effect. What I would give to play it like this. respect and salutations Tavi from the UK
Balthazar Benitez, Uruguayan guitarist, student of Abel Carlevaro, was a marvel of guitarristic perfection and musical beauty. Always brilliant. Those of us who had the good fortune of hearing him play in person will never forget. His ease, no matter how difficult the piece, was astounding, and his interpretations, always marvelous.
This rendition makes me happy for two reasons. One, the beauty of this simple yet effective interpretation. Two, the fact that this player is in flamenco stance, guitar on the right leg, not left.
Having suffered a left shoulder injury, I needed to switch legs last year, giving up the classical, left leg stance. With this performance, I know I won't need to go back 😊
Realmente não se preocupe,o importante é sentir-se confortável e buscar um bom som ! Procure ouvir Ricardo Gallen ele é um exímio violonista clássico!
Very fine rendition of this Tárrega #1 "hit", Tavi. You perfectly captured the nostalgia associated with la Alhambra and the beautiful Grenadine setting.
I was also surprised that you broke with tradition and played this classical piece with the flamenco playing position. Good for you!
In an age where people fling the term "wonderful" around casually, this is truly wonderful music. This artist understands music and he understands the guitar. I'll be back.,
Thank you for that very beautiful interpretation!
Very nice! Composition, musician, and instrument! Bravo
Awesome, excellent technique, great interpretation, touching and passionate... thank you for sharing with us.
Wonderful sound of this guitar. Excellent interpretation.
This is the best performance of this piece on RUclips
So melodic and emotional. Thank you for this gift I can play anytime.
Beautifully played...I used to play this one myself but left playing the guitar for quite a few years and can only remember parts of it. I am trying to learn it right through again...thanks for this
Una interpretación magnífica .
Simply beautiful...one of my favorite piece..your tremolo technique is wonderfully done! Thank you for posting this video.
Excellent tremolo, Tavi.

Stunningly beautiful, Tavi.
+Adam Bendorf Wait, is this THE Adam Bendorf? We need to meet!
Indeed!
This is absolute amazing!! Great Tavi !!!
Why would anyone thumbs down this???? its beautiful.
they are jealous!
John Lucchesi he plays very well but watching this vídeo I can see my own mistakes playing some parte of the piece since he makes the same mistakes. I think that he doesnt play this piece in a ver high level but I still like It.
John Lucchesi the tremolo is not perfect because he put less strenght in his finger when he does It in the third string. Moreover he
John Lucchesi
Mario Delgado it's called decrescendo
Hi finger positionings are so economical. The best version on youtube to watch if you wish to learn this piece!
I am recording a final piece at the beginning of December. It is coming out soon.
This is a truly wonderful interpretation of this iconic piece on a guitar that is a quite good copy of the iconic Torres original. Thank you, - Athan
Probably the best one I've seen on youtube since john williams
This is one the best ! It is so difficult to play , until now I was not successful with this beautiful piece by F Terrega
I'm in the process of learning this song on my Cordoba Solista. Super fun.
lovely performance and nice phrasing, this is the best way to play the piece, like i like to play it!!:)
Amazing player, beautiful piece and beautiful looking and sounding guitar! great combo! :)
Another great guitarist that let us see and hear that's not necessary playing "on the left leg" the position with the guitar "on the right leg" is also possible playing so good too. Thanks for sharing!
The best interpretation of this music that I already listening!
Yes. It is beautiful. Do you have hear Daniela Gonzalez Caballero play this piece? If not, check it out...;-)
Thats the best performance I ve ever seen. This one and John Williams '
Una muy buena versión de esta gran obra. Una interpretación nítida y reposada.
Enjoyed that very much. Not surprised to hear such musical beauty from an artist who takes music seriously. Thanks Tavi.
Excelente!!! Muy bien, mucho gracias. Si, tiene un perfecto tre'molo.
Tavi....This is simply awesome! Your tremolo technique is so effortless and the musicality is beautiful. The guitar sounds really nice too. I have to do my homework on this piece now... Thanks for posting such a wonderful video!!!
Just beautiful!
Looks so effortless. Amazing just awesome.
If i pick one from the Master Series this is the one i'll choose but it's tough because all of them sounds really good.
Bravo 👏 👏!
Magnificent Tavi - Ian.
The best!!!
Well, that was utterly sublime!
You have the most flexible fingers I have ever seen. That hand looks like a spider running up and down the neck. I liked the tone of the guitar as well. I also liked the way you played this piece. I am very happy to have come across your video.
Thank you.
εξαιρετική ερμηνεία ! Συγχαρητήρια!
Vous avez joue de guitare classique excellamment!
Magnifico!!! Soberbio sonido!
I love this guy.
Downvotes must be from the students who haven't yet realized that there's more than one posture for the guitar
downvotes are not from students, just from yealous people
I thought he had a nice vibrato and clean delivery with a full understanding of the price I don't know what people are thinking who put thumbs down
Bruce Levine there are those who say if you have to ask “what were they thinking” - the answer is “nothing”
Where's the 70 dislikes come from? Stunning performance! 👏👏👏
I say you capture the essence of this piece...nicely done...comment by guitarist tony harmon

Beautifully done. Love that guitar. does it have a 3 piece top?
Wonderful performance. I don't particularly like the relatively short sustain on this guitar, but the player is really good.
Así se hace cantar una guitarra.
