@@autafic the ghost is on steroids compared to HD. It’s harder to get high scores since the ghost is faster and splits. It’s manageable after learning the patterns but probably above Israel’s skill level which is why he hasn’t been doing them.
Dudeeeee seeing HD again is so motivating I still remmember watching Spelunky HD 101 at 2020 summer and instantly downloading Spelunky HD and then finishing it at 2021 spring and then Spelunky 2 Baby good times.

man, i used to play HD a whole lot back when i used my 360 for everything. i'd watch your videos to help me get an edge and i still sucked donkey balls at the game, i think i only ever beat it once. it's always a ride of nostalgia watching your stuff, and it's always a strange kind of refreshing when you return to the first game glad you're still kicking, thanks for still being the same old paco i always knew
oh man i also hadn't opened HD since spelunky 2 came out in 2020 and these videos convinced me to revisit it. gotta say you're right--spelunky 2 is excellent but there is SOMETHING about HD that just tickles a spot nothing else can. these videos are great and i hope u mix in more HD runs in the future, because now i'm playing it a lot too

I love seeing you play hd and to be honest, i prefer it a lot compared to 2. Spelunky 2, despite having a lot more content, feels very samey and gets boring really fast. I would rather watch you spend 15 hours ghosting the daily than killing olmec in Spelunky 2 for the millionth time.
spelunky hd is still a hell of a game, I think I like the sequel more... for different reasons. I still love the first one though, it's also easier for me to full clear on hd... f the cosmic ocean.
Spelunky HD and Spelunky 2 feels like you played NES version of the game all the time but now you have Sega version of it. It's almost the same but it's some tweaks here and there so it feels completely different
