I was secretly hoping and praying that we would see the triumphant return of Beartrap deaths. 'At least one,' I was saying. 'Just one. It would be so funny.' And it was. And I'm happy.
@anaelduarte602 MY biggest gripe woth spelunky 2 is the repetition, I just miss the level moods. Dark levels and longer levels are cool but the variety of the spider and snake pits, or the water and graveyard levels...etc were so fun :(
@@fishcogs Exactly. The idea that there was another special tileset or items that you'd only see once in a while, with it's own risk/reward, that felt good. Especially the special mood of the yeti cave...
Completely ecstatic and looking forward to this playthrough! I look forward to seeing you find all little surprises such as the scorpion pit treasure and the likes!

Saw you dropped this video and decided to give it a shot before I watched. Made it to 7-25 on my 2nd run. It was a pretty cool mod that didn't seem too much different, yet mixed things up enough to be fun.
