Well I am happy to report to you @Sasha Ivantic that this was NOT released or watched during my lunch break. hahaha I have one on the way, it's a no brainer. Saucey playing and a great demo as always brother! Have a great weekend
Sounds great!! I love Jam Pedals! Never got to order the CV7003 version. I had a couple opportunities, but waited too long. i imagine this new SI version is amazing as well. Im still dipping my toes in the world of fuzz. I have a Kasleder King of Stone, EHX Nano Big Muff Pi, Spaceman Effects Sputnik III, OCE Pedals Wrench V2, KingTone MiniFuzz V2, and a Jam Red Muck Bass (bass board). Next i really want to try a MkI circuit. Probably going to try a Seeker Electrics MkI. As far as the age old debate of silicon vs germanium, i dont have enough experience to form an opinion. They both sound fantastic. Great demo as usual Sasha!
Hi Sasha just discovered your channel. Great playing and demo of the pedal. What is the make of that hollowbody guitar.... sounds good (because of you of course) and looks good.
I got the Silicon version fuzz purely because ( as you say).on a hot/humid evening a Germanium fuzz starts sounding mushy even with a single coil ( my experience, it was over 30°C) I wanted the Germanium tone but realised that ig you can get one that has the trimpots indide on the board you can get exactly the same tone and more buzzy bee zingyness. In the end any fuzz is better than none but try to get the adjustable types or try them out.
What overdrive do you use to get lower fuzz setting to still clean up? I have to try again but I think mine robs me of the guitar volume pot tricc. Maybe not all overdrive do that. Thanks for that tip!
You can do it with basically any overdrive but you have to set volume high and gain low. Some work better than others though. In this video it’s the Red Snapper. Klon style pedals, amazing the Dane, Greer Lightspeed, the LPD stuff, Spruce Arborist all have amazing cleanup already. At a lower budget you could look at the Boss BD2!
Is it any better than If6was9 by Walrus Audio? I remember Sasha recommended it here not a long time ago. Sometimes I think that what's inside Jam Pedals boxes are copies of classic layout circuits with some minor (not audible) changes and the only value is the painting. Plus they add carbon resistors to make them look more vintage inside. Carbon resistors are temperature sensitive and can change the sound of the guitar pedal to the point it s not acceptable. This is why metalf film resistors were invented.Having said that, on the contrary to my general opinion I own Harmonious Monk mk 1 and I think it is great, and it is a keeper. Ripply Fall impression was... that it was an average/not so bad chorus matched with an average phaser. There are better choruses in the world. The phaser was no different than regular MXR Phase 45. OK, they added frequency multiplexer. Dedicated pedal did't work in some positions. I had to pull out the jack half the way to make it work in both phaser and chorus. So in the end it was painting which I paid so much for. Eureka Fuzz was boomy. I sold it. I hope this Fuzz Phrase is something more then nicely painted box with components inside worth 40 USD any skilled DIY pedal maker could put together. All I am trying to say that not every Jam Pedals pedal is a gem. Don't let the nicely painted box full you :-)
First time I see someone play. Fuzz face with gain knob lower than maximum. I always struggle with overall volume. When I engage my fuzz phrase I always have a cray high increase of volume. I play it into a plexi pedal. Can you help me ? Or is it normal and I can’t use it at home? Thanks
The very reason i traded the "stonk machine"by Benson.WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT THAT WAS.SO BAD BENSON HAD TO PUSH OUT A Ge preamp.because the stonk was such a failure. At benson prices it should represent itself better.Ill never spend another dime on Benson...sorry.
I don't know of anything that JAM pedals make that I don't like. What an awesome company and you really do this pedal justice!

I bought the Eureka based on your video😊
Can you tell me the difference is between the Eureka and this pedal?
Excellent demo!!
Thanks, Sasha!
Overdrive was before or after?
After! :)
Right on, brutha… thanks!
@sasha this compared woth the pedal pawn silicon fuzz? Same sound/cleanup?
I have never tried the pedal pawn fuzz but most silicon fuzz faces behave like this
How does this one compare to the Reeves pedals?

There’s a video on my channel called “a guide to good fuzz tone”. You can probably find some answers there!
mine sounds great but it makes so much fucking noise, anybody know anything about that?
