Beautiful car. I'm eagerly awaiting the X5 reveal. Strongly considering going with the X5M Comp. My only complaint on the exterior is I wish they would tuck the rear wiper up top to hide it.

I don’t usually care for all black cars but this thing looks mean from the front and back!
i'm replying while looking at it and it is a bad ass looking car
The headlights design is catered towards the Chinese market, where the top narrow strip is a DRL ,while the headlights are located at the bottom. This has been going on even before Covid. Other trends include : extended wheelbase sedan, coupe SUV, large grilles.
Why do people care so much about china? Is the Chevy Blazer made for china for its split headlight design? I for one personally, think the design change is really interesting and very different. i feel a large reason why people don't like the new design is actually because of the fact its different. which makes sense bc that's just how people are, where they don't like things that are different.
The design is different but I think it works really well
@RxP many people didn't like the redesign when they first saw it. they wondered why would BMW ever make such a huge design change that a solid chunk of people think is outright terrible. when the news came out that BMW changed the design language primarily for their customers in the Chinese market, it became apparent that the company has lost their way totally.
I have enough money I would so buy this x7 beautiful suv

If you get a chance sometime, could you an outside comparison of Black sapphire vs Carbon black on one of your BMW's? I know that I want an X5 with one of these colors with either Cognac Sesafin or the Tartufo Extended Merino Leather interior with black wheels, red M sport calipers, and the extended Shadowline exterior package. Just can't make up my mind between the 2 colors. Any thoughts?
Black Sapphire is just black with metallic flake, Carbon Black is Black with a dark blue undertone. I like both colours, I think Carbon is more unique but if I'm getting a black car I want it to be very black lol my opinion

Thanks! Does this have highway assist with steering and lane change up to 85 mph? Also, does it have augmented reality navigation display on one or both screens?

Why don’t they ever facelift the steering wheel? It’s good but I feel like it deserves a facelift as well.
The steering wheel typically changes from generation to generation
Of course you're gonna say it looks really nice. You work at BMW. It looks like Hyundai or Nissan Pathfinder upfront. I don't think it looks better, but it definitely looks different. All new models take time to grow on some customers. The pre lci will look dated soon.

I was just stuck in traffic and saw a couple X7's along with Nissan's, Hyundai's, Buick's, and Toyota SUV's.
THIS ONE....this one stands out amongst the pack-that's why I'm here, I was mesmerized by the both the grill/light design and even the rear end.
Really wanted it in black but it’s just so hard to keep clean so we ordered it in white. Black is amazing tho

Never been a fan at how the rear of the X7 shapes inward towards the top, was hoping they would box it up a little more with this new refresh.
That wouldn’t happen it’s the same car. To change that would mean they would have to change the architecture of the vehicle. They can only really change sheet metal in a refresh unless they want to invest more money than they need to for a refresh. Besides, that boxy style is more of an American style. Even the GLS have that tucked in upper and wide lower. It’s more European with this style. It gives the vehicle a wide and planted stance.

Beautiful car but why is the rear camera not in the BMW badge, when engaging it flips open and closes again?? It is utterly useless when it rains, always dirty and wet, so still need to rely on mirrors...

How did you guys let the 7Series sedan get a big interior uplift but didn't for a the x7 ? The X7 Was supposed to have the tvs and arm rested tablets not the 7 Series sedan. The x7 2024 better have the interior update or else its going to bw ww3. Lol.

I don't know, really weird. The car is very large and two markets buy such cars, these are the Russian Federation and the USA, and making "Chinese eyes" is strange in any case. As if at the last moment they did not understand their target audience.
P.S: I have nothing against China, it's just that such headlights are usually used in the countries of Asia, and so on.
