Great video thanks. Followed along and now I have an SSD CoPilot too! The warranty tamper label is surprisingly tough and almost broke the ribbon connecter to the SATA connector. The connector for the ribbon from the display is one of those lift-the-flap types which are fiddly with no positive connection until the flap goes back down. The bit that took the longest for me was the outer end-caps; finding the location of the tabs and prising the plastic off was much harder for me than you. I think I need a better spudger. I installed Samsung 870 QVO SATA and the outer dimensions of the top cover are very slightly larger than the outgoing drive, not enough to prevent installation or recommending it but enough to need a bit of leverage to jam it back into the case. I managed with similar tools to you, a credit card for the silver plastic display cover (very useful), small Philips for the case screws and small Torx for the drive screws, then a tiny flathead, a spudger, a craft knife and tweezers for the ribbon cable. My original drive was formatted exFAT not NTFS so I went with exFAT for the replacement too and copied the same name. There wasn't anything I had to copy over so I have a satisfying round number of 2000GB free. The zulusierra link is no longer pointing to anything.
Thank you that looks great ! Questions : What formatting is needed for the new SSD ? And, is it possible to put a different capacity (higher or lower) SSD than the stock 2Tb HDD ? Thx
Do you know the specs for the battery ? I have a Lacie Boss, which looks pretty much thesame ad DJI CoPilot and my battery is starting to get really bad.
@@TheAlPup After connecting ssd to the pc, it was formatted as ntfs. Used after mounting on dji copilot. It seems to have been formatted after connecting to the copilot app. I can't remember.
perform the entire process and everything was successful, the only problem is that when trying to make backups from sd the legend appears: critical! apparently it gets too hot, I already tried to replace the diffuser pad and put some thermal paste but it is useless, has someone had something similar happen? any advice?

My case, the most hard part was sliding out from the frame. It's too tough. How'd you guys did that?
Do you know the specs for the battery ?
Great idea. Do you get better speeds with this hack? What were your transfer shoes before and after? Thanks.
My cover doesnt pop off like you showed at the very begining
