Trimarans are the best. Love me a tri.

Fantastic video - totally agree with everything. I especially loved the ability on mine to do great coastal cruising for a fraction of the cost and complexity of running a monohull

I noticed Nick from Ruby Rose in the video. Looks like great fun!

We love our trimaran! Though oldschool, it’s done us well so far and always gets the looks. Getting ready to take ours into Mexico

A well spoken explanation of your tri boating experience
Very interesting even though I live on the Gold Coast and own a motor boat Huntsman 24
Port hacking rivet is a beautiful place to go boating
    Cheers

I’m always looking for nice little beaches to anchor our Ross780 for the kids to play at, where in Port Hacking is the little beach at 2:10? I’ve noticed it in a couple of your videos.

good info. I'm considering a 760 or an 880; there are pros and cons for both.
Most of the time I'll be singlehanding, coastal cruising in the US, or have a few people for a day sail. The 760 is perfect for this. but...
I don't live far from the Caribbean, and want a boat that can go offshore island hopping in the Caribbean. It's about 48 nm from Florida to Alice Town, Bahamas and I plan to sail further into the Caribbean, from a a few weeks to several months at a time each year; I'd be more comfortable with the 880.

It's possible with the right weather window as we have sailed these offshore, BUT something like the 880 might be more suitable given its extra size.

Nice review! Would you give me a favor to inform about mast profile (I would like to replace the wooden mast of my trim of the similar size).

Great video thx and good to see you with kids out there we do same with ours.
It would be great if you could do one video how to get the best speed out of them with the rotating mast etc...

The question is, how to find one? They seem to almost never pop up on the market and when they do, people want their weight in gold.

    • @MultihullCentral1

They are around. Talk to us direct as some get sold off market.

Lots of fun but inherently unstable in the final analysis. Great for day sailing, dangerous at sea unless you always have many hands on board with lots of experience. And that's unlikely.
