Maybe because in fact this is not a Buggles gig but a gig by the Trevor Horn Band at least they play gigs in the UK and Europe unders (t)his name.... It's only for commercial reasons they use the 'Buggles' name in the USA i guess?
Why is this in Las Vegas where almost no-one has heard of them? Surely better here in the UK where lots of us love a bit of Buggles. Even though there's clearly a lot of backing track here, the band sounds tight and enthusiastic and overall it's more satisfying than the Prince's Trust show in 2004.
It was the opening act for Seal. Most people in the audience had *no* idea who the Buggles were and impatient for Seal to come on stage to perform. I was at this show.
