This is Seal’s backing band. Trevor is the musical director. The Buggles opened for Seal on the 2023 US tour. Trevor said Seal encouraged the idea and what a wonderful thing it was.
Merci beaucoup c'est très gentil de votre part. Bisous becka je suis époustouflée du 'nombre d'artistes dont vous avez fait la renommée un grand merci et bonne nuit 🌃 bisous becka
Really nice version! As someone who saw the 9012Live tour, which included none of these musicians, i approve of this version. I agree with other commentors that Trevor is a great musician and producer, and was an integral part of the Rabin era of Yes. Calling this act "The Buggles" does a disservice to Geoff Downes and his masterful keyboard work.
Not only does he have great bass chops, his voice is spot on ! I heard a Jon Anderson version of this a few days ago and this versions beats it hands down.
Why do you think he's miming? Is the whole band miming? I'm a fairly experienced musician and everything technical is in place to be making a recording of a live performance.
@johnkilpatrick2343 I'm no expert but the vocal just looks like that to me. Tone very pure and strong for a guy of that age. No shame in it IMHO he's an all time great. Some of the Frankie stuff is incredible and none of those guys look like amazing musicians or arrangers to me!
@@tommytraddles Every note played on film by the musicians perfectly matches what we hear. If they're miming, they are the world's best at miming, ever. It's possible (technically) that, e.g. the vocal or guitar solo and/or some keyboard parts could have been re-recorded after the performance, but that's totally different from "miming".
Well, this is definitely the totally wrong snare drum sound. I can’t believe they didn’t have a second snare with the crisp Copeland sound that was part of the inspiration for the production. Very un-Trevor and surprisingly lazy. Sounds like Lenny Kravitz :(
Trevor is the best producer, ever.
Yes he is
Yes
Alan Parsons is also a wonderful producer
@badgastein2 Alan is most definitely one of the greats.
Best producer in the entire world for 90125 that's for sure. Slickest production of the 80's imo.
Mind blown, just when you think Trevor couldn’t impress me any more than he already has, this comes along, damn he can sing and play that bass
I am grateful for everything that I can still listen to the songs I blasted over 40 years ago.
Yep... same here 👍 Per (63) 🇩🇰
Wonderful, Trevor's voice is still great and the band is as well!
Always LOVED this song from YES... I'm 55 years old and until today, I never realised it was yet another masterpiece from Mr Horn! ❤
I'm too😂
The era of truly great popular music.
Thank you Trevor! 💖🇨🇦
Still has it! Great voice! Legendary musician/producer. All the best Trevor!
Damn this is actually pretty badass! Good on you Trevor!
Still got it after all these years.
My 2 favourite top class Producers, Trevor Horn and Vince Montana Jr….💪🔥💥💥🇬🇧🙏❤️🙂

OMG just listen to the pure quality of playing, sound, production and voices- outstanding perfection. WOW!! 😊👍
Mr Horn. Respect for your voice. It's sounds great. Please create a live Album.
Wow... Super performance 😎❤️Thanks for sharing this gem 🙏🏻 Per 🇩🇰

Trevor doing his best Chris Squire and Jon Anderson impressions at the same time !

Wow. That is just fantastic.
Well that was quite brilliant

Thanks for sharing this performance, sounds great! well done!
In this key it actually sounds really good! And that's rare for a song to sound this good THIS lowered.
Oh wow, amazing! I can only imagine the imaculate and perfect voice of Jon Anderson singing this, but Trevor aces it.
I love it! I still have this album! 90125👌🥰👉♥️👍you guy’s sounded awesome!!👏😎👍
Great version, Trevor!!!
This is fab!!
(español) Buen material, muchas gracias

Sooooo classy 😊
Voice sounds good.
Very good.
Please upload the rest of the songs from this concert again!!
Yea idk why they took down the original full concert video, it was awesome
Not only does he have great bass chops, his voice is spot on ! I heard a Jon Anderson version of this a few days ago and this versions beats it hands down.
Fantastic!
What words!
Great job
Tight band he has behind him, still has a decent voice as well. Class.
❤
Yes. Trevor Rabin guitar.
Who is the guitar player ? He’s just amazing! Stunning sound, great stage presence and so fashion ! ❤❤❤
When does this show come to the UK?!
My college years. So much memories.
Best bass guitar at the moment, just after Mike Odfiel of course ^^
PS: where is TOTO?
👍👌
Can you please upload more videos from this concert? It used to be on this channel but it was deleted
Sounds way better than the current YES lineup!!
Mr 80’s 🎶🎶🎶
Wonderful, this does credit to the Yes original.
cool version
💐
❤AON❤️ Who’s Afraid?
genius
What is the Band lineup?
It can't be The Buggles without Geoff Downes. This is just The Buggs. Still enjoyed it though.
The buggle
Great track… but he’s miming. Does anyone know who played the guitar solo on the recording?

I said he was miming ie the vocal wasn't live. Everything else clearly is. Do you know who played the guitar solo on the original recording?
@@tommytraddles miming is singing along to a pre-recorded part, not a post-recorded part.

this is great
Isn't this _The Buggle_ not _The Buggles_ ?
Nice rendition tho
Absolutely amazing! Hi, dear I want to connect you 🙏
It must have hurt a bit to sing "the eagle in the sky".
Brilliant band, amazing performance…Also terribly lit and so many cuts are out of sync with the performers' playing! 🙄😕…Come ON, Trevor!
Pretty solid, but too much reverb on Trevor's voice. The guitarist is no match for Rabin alas.
Key is way too low

Guitar is really poor
