What I don't understand with jobs is: Ok, so you want me to waste my life away building wealth for you, but you also want me to beg you for the privilege of ruining my life, while you work me to an early grave in exchange for peanuts. Shouldn't *you* be the one begging me to work for you? Make it make sense
We gotta sl*ve and BEG our lives away for peanuts so that the top% can afford a 5th yacht and we can have nth to show for in our old age. OR buy land, work on farms together for a rural community, build ur own business.
Companies are looking for experienced employees willing to accept intern wages especially in tech due to all the layoffs. Graduates are up against people with experience for roles. Recruiters and companies are posting fake jobs to farm data or check off legal requirements in some places to eventually hire friends or family for the position.
With you brother! I graduated with my masters in ECE and been looking for internships and full-time since 1 year and received only one interview and I applied to more than 1000+ jobs. Auto rejected and ghosted on LinkedIn. Everyone around me received their internships and full-time with us having identical resumes but still I haven't got any leads. SO I understand you. let's hope someone does say yes to us because we need only one yes to make a difference. Cheers mate. Be happy.
thank you for making this video... I recently graduated in March this year and am still looking for a job. Watching this video makes me feel that I am not alone.
You helping me with my studies in Taiwan and a Mechanical Engineering major. Thank you and God bless on your Journey. PS maybe you can come to Taiwan there are opportunities in our fields
The medical field is always looking for a variety of positions. Find out what training is needed for various jobs, and explore whether it would interest you. The medical field has lots of room for advancement and placements from hospital, to nursing homes to sports medicine to home health. There are many kinds of jobs, too, like x-ray, phlebotomy, home health aide, orderly, dietitian, office, RN, LPN, physical therapy, and the list goes on. Once in, you can work for the Veteran's Hospital/clinics, state or county health.
Could be worse, you could be in my situation Graduated magna cum laude from geo-enviromental engineering program, sent my CV and cl to a handful companies that exist in my country that do that kind of work, got no reply back even smth along the lines of thank you for applying but we are not hiring ATM (that was 2 years ago) I am in an EU country so my education was free, and even though there are those kind of jobs elsewhere in the EU you have to be fluent in the languages of those countries and I am only fluent in ENG, so now I work as a menial laborer, fml I feel like I have been betrayed honestly l, put in all that work since the beginning of high school only for it all to matter nothing at the end
You have know how to setup your resume. Example: Instead of saying you did an internship for 3-6months. You write you worked there under x job title for 1-2 years for that company. Better to not say u did an internship. Internship dont sound like good on a resume. I use Indeed, Glassdoor, and Craigslist for job searching. I think there are more entry level jobs on Craigslist than Indeed/Glassdoor. My 1st job I got from Craigslist.
It needs a basic income for everyone (also for working people), that you are able to get into good jobs, building and creating new stuff wihtout any fear... and so on. There are not enough jobs in the world. Otherwise we will create homeless people (and the industry has not enough purchasing power on top). We have so many items, that companies are forced to sell them... but the people not having the minimum money to live the life.
Update: I haven't kept up with the number of applications but it's definitely well over 50 now. However, I did get a job at Outlier AI for mathematics, which is where I am currently working at for the time being. Hopefully there is a shift in the job market soon!
i dont know whats worse not having a job or having a job that doesnt pay livable wage getting lied about pay,now u stuck at shitty job couse have to pay bills, they want u improve at work, work faster meanwhile i dont want to work there anymore fuck me

Make it make sense
too much population makes it easy for companies to exploit people
BOOMERS SAID YOU ARE LAZY

BOOMERS SAID BE GRATEFUL
@@Matt_Castle Imagine a boomer spits on your face and then tells you to be grateful for his sacred spit. The audacity 😂

Very true, unfortunately.

I believe bro you got this. Just keep making vids the long term play is skills and visibility.
I appreciate it bro! 🙏
Been working in games for 5 years. Laid off over 6 months ago, only had 1 interview so far. Last 2 times I got a job, it was nothing like this.
thank you for making this video... I recently graduated in March this year and am still looking for a job. Watching this video makes me feel that I am not alone.
Glad to be of help! You definitely aren’t the only one. Let’s hope for greater opportunities to come 🙏
that honda story is nuts. 4 months and no offer?! that’s ridiculous
You helping me with my studies in Taiwan and a Mechanical Engineering major. Thank you and God bless on your Journey. PS maybe you can come to Taiwan there are opportunities in our fields
I am glad to hear that, thank you!! I should consider it :)
This is rough. I graduated with CS degree in the middle of the dot com bust and it wasn’t this bad.
Haven’t gone to college yet. I also cannot find a job that is entry level, it is very discouraging.
It’s tough, but with the right effort, hopefully we can all make it through!
do anything in healthcare. much more stable

I have a job and I’m looking at this ..
It ridiculous all year in 2024, federal reserves not doing any interest cuts to help companies to hire people all year.
Could be worse, you could be in my situation

The amount of times you said “you know” is a world record.
I stopped watching because it got really annoying
Sorry to hear that those reasons make you stop watching a video!

Working 9 to 5, what a way to make a living, barely getting by
All strength to you!
🎵It's enough to drive you crazy if you let it!🎵
Unfortunately, that song was written pre-recession, now most of the 9-5 shifts aren't even enough to make a living...sadly.
Damn... How many applications have you sent already? Job Market seems to be getting worse everyday.

Yup, been really interested in going for a masters now
i dont know whats worse not having a job or having a job that doesnt pay livable wage getting lied about pay,now u stuck at shitty job couse have to pay bills, they want u improve at work, work faster meanwhile i dont want to work there anymore fuck me
Or a shitty job that keeps cutting your hours and you can’t get hired anywhere else
Company loyalty is dead, if you want to make it in this world and build a career job hopping every2/3 years is the way forward
Contract work at this point
