Good stuff. Now that I'm learning to play Battlefield I have to "think" about how to use a mouse. This video has given me a lot to practice and think about. Keep up the good work.
Believe it or not the Starfighter Assault mode in star wars battlefront 2 is a great way to go through ever varying smoothing motions with frequent opportunities to utilize little micro adjustments onto the next target with your fingertips at the end of each tracking/smoothing motion, it's also great repetition for actively trying to keep your grip more relaxed and not too tense as generally you track fairly predictable sweeping lines then make a small adjustment with your fingertips to aim at the next target. Super casual game but that mode is actually kind of great for repeatedly performing smooth accurate laid-back motions.

There are so many things I did not know. Thanks for this video. I have to proggresively augment my dpi for Apex, while keeping my in-game sensitivity at 1.8 (was at 1.5 when I started a year ago). I am at 850, but it feels a little bit too fast. At 800, it feels a bit too slow. I also do not have a super huge mouse pad. I have one like what is in the video. And my gaming laptop is right next to my mousepad. My desk's size is a 100cm x 60cm. So I have to manage between having a slow enough sens to be able to track targets and flick properly, and having a fast enough sens for movements and 180s. Finally, I need to get better at tracking. I tend to lose focus on my target. My brain reacts late. And I physically have poor flexibility in my right wrist when going to the right.
@@mynameisnotshane404 My wrist is really the only part of my arm that touches the table. Any more and I feel less in control. If thats what you're talking about
Great vid, but i have a question. What is the best position for your forearm ? Should it be entirely on your mousepad, or half on your arm rest of your chair and half on the mousepad ? I see alot of pro players having their entire forearm on the desk/mousepad but if I do that i have to adjust my posture in a unnatural way.
The one thing I've noticed for myself is that my aim is best when everything is as consistent as possible. For the arm position thing, for me that means resting my elbow on my armrest and resting it right at the elbow joint so that the pivot distance from elbow to hand is always the same. If I change that resting position from day to day, my consistency goes out the window. If I absolutely had to rest it on the armrest at a desk like you mention here though, I'd probably just try my best to find the most consistent position possible. I have to wonder if perhaps your desk is at the wrong height to be optimal too maybe? I know for myself, a good mousing position requires my desk to be fairly low, almost bumping my knees.
Ron Rambo Kim can you do a video on Hiko I think he has a very interesting play style he plays on a very high sens like woxic but he plays at the end of his desk and his Mouse grip is weird he makes only micro Motions to move around be cause his sens is so high I think it would be a really cool video seeing you dissect hikos play style
And we haven’t seen a video we’re you talk about a pro plays play style in awhile I love the vid you did on faze niko there super interesting videos and they help players get a good idea on how to mimic there favorite players
how much time do you surggest i should spend on aimlab each day? and should i train all the major motions in one day or should i train one motion every day?
With respect to friction points and elbow height, should any of the back (fleshy part) of my hand be on the mousepad or should my hand rest on my mouse such that none of it touches the pad at all? (Like your positioning at 6:10 in this video)
Big fan and Great tips. I do have a question though. I dont know if youve played fortnite and have engaged in a shotgun fight in point blank range or 1x1 situation. What type of arm hand motions would that type of fight fall under? The fights are so close that i cant use my arm swipes because the person jumps so much and will jump from in front of my crosshair right over my head to behind me really fast. In one scenario i can set my sens high and bend my wrist to almost track them in a complete circle and i wont miss but then my AR aim will suffer, on the other hand i can set my sens low to mid low and hit amazing long range shots and my tracking is amazing but that super close range i lose 90% of the fights. Just trying to see should i be using my arm more in a fight like this or set it high enough to where if im one tile away i should be using my wrist to track them like you are doing here in the video at close range 2:55 and 5:11. Thanks.
thank u for the informative video. I was wondering when is the best time to go through these playlists, should I use them as a warmup (before a game) or as training (at night while I am not actually playing)...sry if someone asked this questions before but I wanted to know and I can't go through the 669 comments already. Thank you again for your time.
This routine is awesome and I just did the whole playlist (I have a lot of work to do) but it got me thinking. Would you recommend playing one level after another and just playing through the playlist like normal everytime or if I feel like I could improve my aim in a certain area would you recommend replaying that specific level more than once?
Can you make a posture and setup review esque video like you did with s1mple but with tenZ? He’s lit the valorant scene on fire.. somehow changes sens daily , changed his sens “82 times” in the last tournament but all the while earned highest combat score average of the last 4 tournaments lol
Ron, see if you can help: I play Rainbow Six Siege, which relys on ADS-ing. Aimlab is pretty much hipfire only, which is the best way to set my sensitivity to pratice? Should I set my hipfire sens on Aim Lab as the same as I use for ADS-ing in game? Thanks man, love your content!
You can go into the Settings, select the game you are training for. Then you can customize sens settings with in-game units (3.5 in AimLab will be the same as 3.5 in Siege). There are different ADS profiles for different guns, or you can make your own. IIRC there's no visible gun when you ADS in AimLab (it just zooms in when you right click), but I'm sure there's a setting or workshop gun for 'true ADS' somewhere.
What I do is turn off the weapon model, and match my settings to R6 Siege (Aim Lab has native conversion for the game), and practice every exercise while holding Right Click. I've been focusing on Speed tasks (due to my age) and I have definitely seen improvement on my game.
Extremely helpful!!!! Thank you Question: Is it true some people flick with their arm? Or should I always be using smaller wrist movements, and reserving my arm movements for swiping motions?
My problem is my shoulder pain I havethe same EDPI (936) since I played CS now I transitioned to Apex Legends and now my pain started idk what to do. Do I change my edpi?
Aiming is just another part of the game, map awareness, positioning are also important to win a battle not always aiming,if you are in wrong position it does matter if you swipe or aim fast...most importantly do not reload in an open area ,always walk near walls, and always assume there are enemies infront of you,do an advance firing when checking if your gun has silencer the better.. it may look like you are a cheater but you can kill player at a higher chance if u fire in advance
Appreciate the information. I'd like to see a video comparing the aim trainer sessions to Call of Duty. I'm getting good progress on flicks, which is helping with quick scoping. The issue I'm having with any shooting drills is that it's basically all hip fire. If I ADS, the gun is so big that blocks most of the screen. All the targets also disappear with a single shot, and that doesn't mirror real gameplay situations. Any helpful tips are appreciated on best drills for ADS training for Call of Duty style FPS.
I can't keep my elbow consistently on the desk. I have a good chair and desk height, but considering that a desk is typically straight and you sit behind it, it's just not natural to have your elbow on your desk unless you are leaning forward.
Thanks for pointing that out! Ill update the correct swiping playlist when they Steam servers allow me to. "Spidershot 180 ultimate" is the Aim Lab task I recommend to practice swiping motion

And we haven’t seen a video we’re you talk about a pro plays play style in awhile I love the vid you did on faze niko there super interesting videos and they help players get a good idea on how to mimic there favorite players
ill look into it!
how much time do you surggest i should spend on aimlab each day? and should i train all the major motions in one day or should i train one motion every day?
Can you give me an order which one i should learn first and which one last?
Ron Rambo is the best FPS channel no cap
*_God bless you my dude!_*
Thanks.
Experiment with various forearm placements. How much is on the pad and the angle
thank u for the informative video.

Would you recommend playing one level after another and just playing through the playlist like normal everytime or if I feel like I could improve my aim in a certain area would you recommend replaying that specific level more than once?
thank you Ronald.
Hi bro remember me? I commented I subbed :D on ur pro sitting position video :D
The cone thingies are helpful.
With your thumb and pinky now securing the mouse do you left click with the ring finger instead?
Can you make a posture and setup review esque video like you did with s1mple but with tenZ? He’s lit the valorant scene on fire.. somehow changes sens daily , changed his sens “82 times” in the last tournament but all the while earned highest combat score average of the last 4 tournaments lol
Ron, see if you can help: I play Rainbow Six Siege, which relys on ADS-ing. Aimlab is pretty much hipfire only,
which is the best way to set my sensitivity to pratice? Should I set my hipfire sens on Aim Lab as the same as I use for ADS-ing in game? Thanks man, love your content!
You should definitely match the sensitivity / aiming motion / game scenarios as closely as possible when practicing Aim in a 3rd party program
Thank you
Question: Is it true some people flick with their arm? Or should I always be using smaller wrist movements, and reserving my arm movements for swiping motions?
People with low sens flick with their arm when their wrist flick is out of range
My problem is my shoulder pain I havethe same EDPI (936) since I played CS now I transitioned to Apex Legends and now my pain started idk what to do. Do I change my edpi?
Holy shit this actually worked
Aiming is just another part of the game, map awareness, positioning are also important to win a battle not always aiming,if you are in wrong position it does matter if you swipe or aim fast...most importantly do not reload in an open area ,always walk near walls, and always assume there are enemies infront of you,do an advance firing when checking if your gun has silencer the better.. it may look like you are a cheater but you can kill player at a higher chance if u fire in advance
can u make same for kovaks?
I have not tried Kovaaks yet
Appreciate the information. I'd like to see a video comparing the aim trainer sessions to Call of Duty. I'm getting good progress on flicks, which is helping with quick scoping. The issue I'm having with any shooting drills is that it's basically all hip fire. If I ADS, the gun is so big that blocks most of the screen. All the targets also disappear with a single shot, and that doesn't mirror real gameplay situations. Any helpful tips are appreciated on best drills for ADS training for Call of Duty style FPS.
ı love ur videos thx for everything
You're very welcome
I can't keep my elbow consistently on the desk. I have a good chair and desk height, but considering that a desk is typically straight and you sit behind it, it's just not natural to have your elbow on your desk unless you are leaning forward.
The swiping playlist seems to be the same as the smoothing playlist is that intentional?
Thanks for pointing that out! Ill update the correct swiping playlist when they Steam servers allow me to. "Spidershot 180 ultimate" is the Aim Lab task I recommend to practice swiping motion
@@ronrambokim I think you should take a look at the pistols, only 9mm is used. thanks
Thanks for your videos!! What would you recommend a solid aim style for COD/ Warzone!? thanks in advance
