First, I absolutely suck at aiming, even though I am quite good at shooting irl. I recently get a chair with adjustable arm rests and i find that, when leveled with the desk, it is a good pivot point for the elbow, I can now use the full surface of my mousepad while getting a good arm support.
Thank you so much bro! I just got a new chair and table but I felt so much pain on my shoulder when I play valorant even though it didn't happen before. Have been searching about healthy posture etc. but I still don't understand why it hurts my shoulder, thank god the algorithm recommended your video. I am gonna subscribe you cuz I find your other videos interesting, keep up the good work man!
Can you make video about micro wrist movements while aiming with the arm? I mean how to loosen up the wrist which is stiff in tense game situations and how to exactly do this micro aim corrections with wrist.
Cons from playing with your arm is sometimes It doesn't feel consistent, sometimes I feel friction from my hand and mousepad which makes aiming inaccurate. but u can fix this with arm sleeve
hit the veteran expert technique by arm elbow to shoulder joint kinesiology in wrist to finger retention, to balance polling curve at up down Y-axis readings, from wrist & fingers at retention to keep mouse straight, onto knowing when on micro adjustments by retention of hand then pull palm rest in for tracking & arm for major macro adjusts on gunfights for kicking over flinches, barrel down tactics & walk adjust 1st then adjust look while on walk, ease
my hands are too fucked up for the mechanical requirements of fps games nowadays. But i miss that grind and i find myself here watching to try and scratch a very sore itch.
Nice video. For a game like fortnite I've found the vertical aiming is best with a high sens and fingertip grip, utilizing your fingers for a lot of the vertical movement. Using your entire arm, at least for me, simply feels too slow for the tech that game requires
Thank you for this, I saw summit1g playing like this and got curious if there's like a tutorial in youtube lol. My issue for this is that I have my PC on the right side, maybe I need to move it under the desk,.
I've been using high sense (wrist aiming) since playing cs 1.3, dota1, league of legends, valorant and now cs2. And I just realized that playing high sens has pros and cons and one of the cons is difficulty in micro adjustments. Now I'm planning to lower my sens and switch to arm aiming. Can you please give me some advise where to start? My current sens is: Windows sens: 6 Dpi: 800 Cs2 sens: been switching between 1.15-1.25
I realized a long time ago what this video says, but my mat is only 40 by 30 centimeters, so I had to put it 10 centimeters from the edge of the table, and my arm can't slide on the lacquered table at all, so I have to play in a sweater (so that the sleeve slides well on the table surface)
Arm aimers are a special breed, I've tried it many times over the years but it feels really off. I need to have my whole arm off the table and just my hand on it with my wrist half hanging off. It's bad for the wrists but i can't aim properly with anything else!
Rambo, my elbow is off my desk, sitting on the arm of my chair. I use a Razer Firefly hard mousepad, 600 edpi in CS and Razer Deathadder Elite. I find when practicing (DM or Aimbotz), my wrist/hand will stiffen up and it makes it very difficult to make any micro adjustments. I have had a wrist injury in my childhood, and I'm older (44), is there anything I can do to overcome this issue without changing my sensitivity?
have this same issue when spraying. i sometimes even lift the mouse off of the mousepad when trying to pull down to spray. i try to get as relaxed as possible and sometimes wiggle around my mouse/crosshair when holding an angle so when the times comes the motion is fresh in my mind and hopeffully i dont freeze
I always recommend doing some sort of hand, wrist, and forearm warmup to get the blood flowing and boosting the feeling/sensations - to provide more touch and feel. Finger and grip pressure on the mouse have a huge influence on micro adjustments
Interesting video! My mouse pad is a lot smaller than yours, and my sens is relatively high, so I prefer wrist aiming. Also, my mouse pad is at the end of the desk, and has a wrist gel pad, so my wrist sits comfortably on it and my arm is off the desk!
@@ronrambokim Good to know lol. I mainly play Quake Live right now, so it's pretty fast paced, a decent amount of twitch aim, but also some track aiming (with the lightning gun). Have you played it?
Consult the arm movement can work well with a not so high in-game sensitivity, an intermediate, without having to move the wrist and keep the arm with the palm grip
After been watching Donk, M0nesy, Twistzz and Zywoo play i tried their grip. They use their arm for aiming. But they do not have their forarm on the mousepad. Instead they have their arm anchored on the edge of the table (before the elbow) and have their forarm floating aswell as their wrist, holding the mouse on the upper half. Would you recommend the wrist resting (not anchored) on the mousepad or is floating okay? It took me a few weeks to get used to floating with a relaxed claw grip, but i feel like it helped me swipe and aim faster. Before ive always used palm grip meaning my wrist and forarm would touch the pad.
To easier learn very low sens u should also decrease your windows sens it helps a lot ! Mine lowest sens was 800 with 0.9 ingame 4/11 windows its same as 200 dpi with 3.6 sens and i was as fast as on high sens
Hello, I wonder if there is any video related to correct sitting or desk/seat height, I am experiencing sore arms and shoulders after a few months of training and I suspect that something very basic is wrong. And if it is common to experience sore arms or ankles after aim training and should I rest for a few days until those symptoms disappear?
If your shoulders have to raise up from resting position for your arm to be on the desk, you’re chair is too low / desk too high. Having the desk too low is likely not going to cause as much soreness, but you might have less stability
Look up a desk height calculator. It'll let you know how to adjust your setup for your height. I would also look at the book Overcoming Poor Posture: A Systematic Approach to Refining Your Posture for Health and Performance by Steven Low. It'll help you combat the poor posture habits you've developed. None of this is medical advice, please speak to a medical professional before doing anything that may negatively effect your health.
Hello rambo first of all thank you for all the great videos and second i have watched another video which the person stated that in order to arm aim you must rest your stomache against the desk is it true? Or its really personal preference?
Bruh i learned so much from your channel even rewatch and rewatch vids all the time but i still aim with the wrist i just cant get used to other movement - im playin on 6.7cm for 360
TBH, i dont recommend playing FPS games with an armrest because it limits your range of motion. The elbow is locked in place and its very difficult to aim vertically up and down.
I have a dilemma where I use a control pad and I struggle massively with big vertical movements. I have to overcome the static friction to move my arm vertically, so big vertical adjustments are very inconsistent. Do you have any advice or solutions? I can’t help but feel my aim is being held back.
I naturally arm aimed from when I started PC gaming just over a decade ago but I always feel slightly uncomfortable at times, I dunno why. Maybe it's the setup of my desk but I keep chopping and changing keyboard/mouse/monitor positions. My desk is big and the right height for me, chair is okay, it's just the KB&M setup. Sounds stupid but I just can't get it feeling comfortable. Sometimes my keyboard is lined up with the middle and F9, but that doesnt' feel right. Sometimes I have it right over centered on the arrow keys and it feels better, but if I have to do a big swipe on my mouse across the entire pad my arm feels too extended (play on a pretty low sens). Constantly moving my chair position, the monitor further back, it's never ending.
I usually use my fingers, and my wrist, and LITTLE bit of arm. I don't know how people can master using the arm. Maybe my technique is bad? I tend to let my arm sink into the table, perhaps I should let it rest there but take off weight by lifting it slightly, but not completely off the table is what I mean it would still be the same amount of arm on the table.
Without knowing the full context of seeing you in person, my best guesses are that youre putting too much weight on your left arm on the table -- leaning on the table putting pressure on your shoulder. #2 id guess that your shoulder is popped out of the socket rolled forward/backward - bad posture.
Any thoughts on improving arm movement for low DPI MOBA players? I struggle a bit going vertical and my only solution was to play windowed on a tiny screen
Wait u have to aim with ur arm? i thought aiming was hitting 3 consecutive headshots to a moving target even tho u were just moving ur crosshair close to the enemies but ur aim assist did the job...

Yeah Struth Gaming has a video on that actually. ruclips.net/video/locnPgVvRio/видео.htmlsi=2AE3_n8a-bTj_sA9
If your shoulders have to raise up from resting position for your arm to be on the desk, you’re chair is too low / desk too high. Having the desk too low is likely not going to cause as much soreness, but you might have less stability
You should counter-balance all the game training with out of game stretching and strength training

Use a bit more vert sens, it helped me. Like for example if you use 1 try 1.25 vert it also help with recoil.

These videos are very good, they should be in several languages. Very bad YT translator
so wierd i feel like wrist aiming is more accurate because i use my wrist with my fingers for finer adjustments and the whole arm for bigger movements

What if I’m playing on a controller, does this apply to controller players aswell ????
Of course not, a controller is not design to be precise fast or to aim well in general, if u want to be good at aiming u need a mouse.
Finally a video that's not crypto. 😂

why pros @VCT, uses default key binds, no use for mouse 4/5 ?
does this affects mouse control?
still not quite sure how im supposed to micro-adjust if im playing arm-only?
He literally says 45 seconds into the video everyone uses their wrist to aim.
you are supposed to micro-correct with the wrist
I use my wrist for that, but I do know people like my friend who doesn't use fingers or wrist at a somewhat high level.
Even if you use your arm primarily, you should still use your wrist to micro adjust, it’s extremely effective and you do it without thinking.
ur supposed to use fingers, wrist and arm. depending on ur sens you will use different parts of u arm more.
