You know I've been waiting for this ever since Richard got it and I'm not disappointed. Awesome stuff, well done! And the academy award goes to Coop! The attention he gave that diff housing was amazing! Good to see someone taught him to measure twice! Bravo!
8:33 old boy in the back shed larakining about was a nice touch.
Well this was certainly more entertaining than the torque converter I pulled out of my dozer yesterday....
Nice 40 :-)
Glad you enjoyed it
, 🎉😂😊
Had me cracking up laughing, love the rawness of it!
Sick build!
Wowee best episode ever! Awesome job Richard. You should be super proud. Keep up the good work!
Cracking Ep and Well done on the conversion, Ive had a Ebay all alloy Radiator in my 80 series for 6 or 7 years best radiator Ive fitted to her.
I have been waiting so bloody long for this and it ended up being so fucking funny.
I think the 60 series is on the market ,Richard has been finally been converted 😂👍🏻and well done for teaching the youngsters because I can see you have a lot more patience than me 🤪
😢😢😢
Well done Richard. Great presentation. Good laugh.
Glad you enjoyed it
Looking good. Nice to see the young people getting involved with the build.
It's amazing the lifespan and compatibility between years . That's actually great!
Mate what a massive effort 👌 top watch wish it was longer. Cant wait to see the build up on Pauls
Good job with all ya work and videos fellas
Love it
heck ya, Richard!
live the grinding work going on behind Richard while he is talking about the 79 series diff. Looks like top quality there guys!!!!!!!!!!!😜
Think you're the only one that noticed, it wasn't even plugged in lol
is that part of the standard Mr Landcruiser service that we can expect or do you have to pay more for it. A bargain at half the price I reckon. See you in 3 weeks.@@MrLandcruiser
I did the same rear disc conversion about two years ago. I used a a 76 series housing with out the bracing. They look more factory for the 40 series & easier to move the spring mounts. I’m also using the factory 79 rear locker.
Very cool mate
From first look the engine bay doesn’t look atrocious compared to other old cruisers that I’ve seen
Powerful project and very innovative
Great video, I’m doing the extract same conversion with fj45. Could you do a video with more details of the exhaust please.
Where did you aquire the compatibility info for the build. About to start a 65 with my son and have long dreamed of a 4 liter in an fj.
Thanks for sharing
Beautiful guys 😊
hey richard, good video mate... can you share the part number for the pulley kit you mentioned that converts the hydraulic fan pump to just a pulley? thanks legend...
In my native Puerto Rico, we used to exchange the cam shaft from a 6 cilinder Chevy, and that engine became a different animal 😮
Ok, we have to look into that 👀
Brilliant congratulations.
Many thanks!
That exhaust on the old 2F, was it better than the factory one, performance wide?
A set of extractors and a 2 1/2" system really help the old 2F's breath better.
@@MrLandcruiser Thanks. Hope to do thé same for m'y old 2H
Hi Richard, what are you going to do with the 2F? Selling it?
Sold mate
What kind of angle grinder is that? It's so quiet!
Haha nice one, we where wondering would anyone notice. There's a few other fake moments in the vid as well
Bahahaha
sounds pretty good bro
Good editing
should put a y62 v8 in the sucker... call it a nissota.... or a landtroller. patruser... or just call it fuckin awsome.... sure would sound good. and pull wheelies.
not gonna lie, that’d be a sick swap. It’d take forever to get bored with it and if you somehow did… bam, slap a Harrop supercharger on it.
If doing a non Toyota motor swap an LS would be a better option than the Nissan.
