"Not important? Blimey that's _amazing_ D'y'know, in 900 years of time and space *I have never met anyone who wasn't important*" - The Inspiration of a Time Lord
The only thing that annoys me is that they got his age wrong. The Ninth Doctor was far older than 900. If the Time War was stated to be 400 years long than Nine should be well over 2000 years old. The Classic series was consistent with his age. The Second Doctor said he was 450, the Fourth said he was 750, the Sixth said he was 900, the Seventh said he was 953 which even the Rani knew and the Eighth was over a 1000 years old. There was always a clear, consistent progression. I have no idea why people make excuses for messing it up when it was clearly RTD deciding to de-age him for no reason.
I'm sitting home alone at night with my headphones in and the lights off. The different logos go by and I think the videos over then all of a sudden, I hear "Are you my mummy?" And jump out of my skin
1:20 onwards, great use of that speech, it has so much impact. Honestly I think that little speech has more impact here than it did in the actual series.
You know, with all the amazing tributes to Doctor Who's 50th anniversary popping up, Moffat's got a _lot_ to live up to with _Day of the Doctor_. Videos like this keep raising the bar.
The song in the film, "Doomsday", is so sad. It's from when Rose got stuck in "Pete's world". You have managed to turn a sad memory into something beautiful! Good work, and a very nice tribute to Doctor Who!
A wonderful tribute to a science fiction series that hasn't shown its age. This is a remarkable example of someone putting a lot of time and effort into showing a great love for a time-traveling hero. Fantastic.
This is why I love Doctor Who so much. The show has an history and when it will be over there will still be people to remember it. And the Whovians. Oh the Whovians, so creative, so loving and open minded. I might just listen to Doomsday and cry.
The best dedication video to DW seen until now. Extremely well done, not pathetic or too much centered on one specific Doctor. A whole story in less than 2mins. The Doomsday Theme is perfect, even if painful :°) Thumbs up!
This was aweinspiringly jaw dropping surrealistically breathtakingly, the most fascinatingly complex piece of animation, let's hope it goes on for at least another fifty years!
Holy crap it made me cry, I love the part were he says who's this, nobody important, blind me that's amazing cuase in 900 years of timetravle I've never ment anyone that wasn't important.
This is absolutely wonderful, and my favorite Doctor Who tribute I've seen. The animation is fantastic, but so are the music and the timing and the quotes and moments of the show you chose.
Wow, this was amazing. You perfectly captured everyone's features and facial expressions - especially when the ninth doctor is speaking! Beautiful drawings. loved this
I've been watching this for four years. It's stunning. Gives me the chills and my eyes well with tears, thinking of my young teen self and older sister struggling to keep our eyes open late late Sunday nights to watch Doctor Who. What an incredible television legacy.
Beautifully done Richard. Picking out what to use; how difficult that must have been! I first saw the mash up with "Take on Me" and shared it to FB, then found your original, and quickly shared that as well; "as the artist intended it to be." Thank you for this.
This is absolutely fantastic! It's hard to find such quality animation that is still so innovative, and a gorgeous Doctor Who one at that! I'd like some of these stills on my wall! Also, thanks for all the Christopher Eccleston. It made me very happy.
And stop this backlash against jodie, this is getting out of hand, blame chibinall, she's an amazing actress and if he wasn't the writer, she'd be a way better doctor, don't hate on her, hate on chibinall instead.
There is a piece of text that flashes on Peter Davison's running animation: "...because you know what, you were my Doctor". Such a gorgeous animation :)
This made me realise how much I love this show. And why I never will stop loving it. This was a beautiful tribute to the mad man with a box who has a special place in the hearts of Whovians everywhere. Thank you
This was very reminiscent of one of the teaser trailers that was made for the movie Looper. The way you were able to animate all the underlying textures and scribbles while still being able to get the mouth sync perfect amazes me. Hope to see more original stuff like this in the future.
This is so incredible! The way this is illustrated is absolutely gorgeous and the lines from the show fit so well! Also love doomsday as the backing music!
Why hasn't this shown up in my searches before now? The video is so beautiful I watched with my mouth open the whole time, flabbergasted by it's awesomeness.
Great video! What a brilliant dedication to 50 years of Doctor Who :)
Great!
Great
What a FANTASTIC 50 year Tribute to Doctor Who!!!!
all sound no video
Beautiful!! Utterly Beautiful!!
The fact that I have never seen this before today is not acceptable. This was absolutely incredible.
Hold my beer 🍺 😂
im 5 years later than you seeing it,what a great video
At least you saw it 5 years before me....
Same here, only just seen this in 2021
same sentiments 8 years after you butt.
"Not important?
Blimey that's _amazing_
D'y'know, in 900 years of time and space
*I have never met anyone who wasn't important*"
- The Inspiration of a Time Lord
That scene made me happy
The reason I like that quote is because no matter how much he hates certain people, like Davros, he still acknowledges that they are s till important
Nobody***
Also the doctor: your not clever, your not connected, your not important
The only thing that annoys me is that they got his age wrong. The Ninth Doctor was far older than 900. If the Time War was stated to be 400 years long than Nine should be well over 2000 years old.

Julia Dickinson ikr? but at the same time that is one of my fave episodes
omg its fucking terrifying
This is absolutely amazing 🤩
A tear appears when i hear "Every body lives Rose. Just this once ! EVERY BODY LIVES !"
that was Stephen Moffat's voice accidentally getting mixed into the script
Trop :,)
Ok
1:02 paused it at the perfect moment. It says for less then a second.
"..because you know what Doctor?
You were my Doctor."
Oh yeah
Brilliant! I love Time Crash
How has it taken me until the 60th Anniversary to see this?? This is beautiful!
This is undoubtedly the most beautiful DW art I've ever seen. Incredible, truly.
1:20 onwards, great use of that speech, it has so much impact. Honestly I think that little speech has more impact here than it did in the actual series.
That was brilliant and amazing! My hat is off to you. :)
Doctor Puppet yep
Which hat? Stetson or fez? :)
You know, with all the amazing tributes to Doctor Who's 50th anniversary popping up, Moffat's got a _lot_ to live up to with _Day of the Doctor_. Videos like this keep raising the bar.
And he NAILED it.
He did.
Day of the doctor rocked
Shame about the 60th anniversary, though....! 😂
They should have had this as the opening for the 50th! UGHHH
Fantastic.
Roses are red
the tardis is blue
the doctor once said
Rose tyler-
Please don't bring back those feelz!
+Pixel Nation Oh the feels
+Pixel Nation I love you? Is that how it ends? thats all I can think of
+Pixel Nation Why?!
why must you do this?
At the 60th anniversary, this is still the best tribute to the show there's ever been.
The best D.W animation i have ever seen on youtube period
When the "are you my mummy" started it actually made me jump XD
Thank you doctor who for making an innocent question the creepiest thing in existence for the remainder of my life
This is why I love Doctor Who so much. The show has an history and when it will be over there will still be people to remember it. And the Whovians. Oh the Whovians, so creative, so loving and open minded. I might just listen to Doomsday and cry.
"the song may be ending, but the story never ends" - An Ood (The End Of Time Part 2, 2010)
Still gives me chills to this day.
The best dedication video to DW seen until now.
Extremely well done, not pathetic or too much centered on one specific Doctor. A whole story in less than 2mins.
The Doomsday Theme is perfect, even if painful :°)
Thumbs up!
Raggedy Man, Goodnight
D180223 oof
I love that this video is fairly balanced between classic Who and modern Who.
I love this! Really cool animation style, and great collection of moments encompassing all the Doctors.
Honestly can’t stop replaying this
No one can stop for we fans will make it replay forever..
Until the day I regenerate
When I saw that first animation of Ten, my heart broke. He looked so happy, and in the end... he was alone.
Allon-sy!
A thing of sheer beauty.
This was aweinspiringly jaw dropping surrealistically breathtakingly, the most fascinatingly complex piece of animation, let's hope it goes on for at least another fifty years!
This is probably the best thing on youtube! You are extremely talented, and I hope you make more of these. They are incredible! Well done! ❤
Holy crap it made me cry, I love the part were he says who's this, nobody important, blind me that's amazing cuase in 900 years of timetravle I've never ment anyone that wasn't important.
Blimey
This is literally one of my favorite videos on RUclips
This made me cry...
FOR ALL OF YOU WONDERING- The song is "Doomsday" Doctor Who season 2 soundtrack. It played at the parting of The 10th Doctor and Rose.
Brilliant. Just brilliant. I salute you sir.
In 900 years of time and space..
I have *never* met anyone who is so talented.
1200 years of time, and space~
2000****
FANTASTIC!!! I LOVE how you used the words from "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances"
good thing theyr'e making a ninth season, id run around screaming with my arms flailing if the didnt.
This is absolutely wonderful, and my favorite Doctor Who tribute I've seen. The animation is fantastic, but so are the music and the timing and the quotes and moments of the show you chose.
This is amazing and incredibly beautiful!
Wow, this was amazing. You perfectly captured everyone's features and facial expressions - especially when the ninth doctor is speaking! Beautiful drawings. loved this
Brilliant. I love the Matt Smith quote you used, about people being important :)
Geronimo
This is so unbelievably gorgeous... AHHHH the images and the music and sounds bytes all fit together perfectly!! Well done!
HOLY TARDIS OF GALLIFREY! THIS WAS FANTASTIC! ♥

Absolutely Amazing!
This is obese of my most favorite videos ever! I love your style! The music fits so well with it! AMAZING!
Beautiful video
Great animation! You picked one of my all time favorite scenes from the end of "The Doctor Dances".
Oo.
No one will remember between 1:22 - 1:23

Kyle Huynh I remember that!
Kyle Huynh Silence
52nerfguy
Oh thats the sil... wait what am I doing here... why is there marker on my arm?
I've been watching this for four years. It's stunning. Gives me the chills and my eyes well with tears, thinking of my young teen self and older sister struggling to keep our eyes open late late Sunday nights to watch Doctor Who. What an incredible television legacy.
I have seen this 20 times
I've seen this video almost five times and it is still amazing. Brilliant job! You should be proud!
BEST VIDEO EVER MADE IN HISTORY!!!!!!!! 👍
Beautifully done Richard. Picking out what to use; how difficult that must have been! I first saw the mash up with "Take on Me" and shared it to FB, then found your original, and quickly shared that as well; "as the artist intended it to be." Thank you for this.

Fantastic!
Beautiful and touching work. Made me happy and sad at the same time.
#doctorwho #doctorwho50thanniversary
That was amazing I loved it well done. The running is the best part when you see all the doctors running. I has to watch it 10 times its so good
Why the hell does the football video have more view than this?!!
ikr
cause not a lot of people enjoy it I find it to be boring and slow but I came to watch the video because of the wonderful animation
"How many have died in your name doctor." That line just makes me want to tear myself into shreds.
i really liked that bravo:)
This is the most amazing animation of DW in the entire universe! Well bloody done mate!
The animation reminds me of "take on me".
Just what I was thinking.
This is the original. The person who made the "Take on Me" video used the visuals from this video and added a different song.
ruclips.net/video/IpVUCv6q5Lg/видео.html
Possibly the best fan tribute to Doctor Who I've seen on RUclips so far!
You should update this at 55 years and add the War, 12th and 13th doctors.
That she Doctor doesn’t deserve a place
Not the 13th Doctor, please.
Not her. She is a fraud.
Come on guys, she should have a place, every person who has played the doctor should have a place
_FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELS_
I have watched this so many times since it's been put up and I still can't get over how amazing it is..o.o
fair play :3
Well its not really animation since you have just used a program that makes video look like this, when you just chopped it around ..
Well this is really animation since he has used several programs to create pictures and then put them together as an animated video.
This made me realise how much I love this show. And why I never will stop loving it. This was a beautiful tribute to the mad man with a box who has a special place in the hearts of Whovians everywhere. Thank you
Fantastic video. The pictures are epic. I love it! Great quotes as well.
The many faces, voices, companions and foes of just one man.
I can't even explain in words how amazing this and how well it is put together! Great job!
I absolutely loved this! Thank you so much for sharing your work with us. It's fantastic!
You've done such an amazing job, the music and the animation was stunning. Love it.
An excellent animation I return to as the 60th passes us by. See you on the 70th!
This is so utterly beautiful
This is awesome! Amazing animation, and it brings up a lot of feels for Doctor Who. Happy 50th Anniversary!
Thank you for this, such a wonderful piece. Can't wait until the 50th anny episode tomorrow.

Wish it was a bit longer though....
Wow! That was mind bogglingly awesome! Really well done mate for such an incredible video.
Ugh this is gorgeous! A beautiful dedication to this show.
oh my gosh this was amazing!! really well done and the music is very fitting :)
Now that we're at the 60th, I wanted to look up this video again. I still love this, so much. Kudos.
This was very reminiscent of one of the teaser trailers that was made for the movie Looper. The way you were able to animate all the underlying textures and scribbles while still being able to get the mouth sync perfect amazes me. Hope to see more original stuff like this in the future.
The music is so eerie, love the whole video! must have been painstaking to make
3 years later and I still love this
I think this gives a great quick overview to the show. You are really talented!
I love this so much, it's just beautiful. Thank you for making this.
you must be insane to do all this it's mental and I love you it and everyone involved with making of this
This is so incredible! The way this is illustrated is absolutely gorgeous and the lines from the show fit so well! Also love doomsday as the backing music!

Your beautiful animated work Richard was very emotive.
Thankyou for such a concise and true to life visualization of all our Doctors
Why hasn't this shown up in my searches before now? The video is so beautiful I watched with my mouth open the whole time, flabbergasted by it's awesomeness.
This is absolutely beautiful. You are very talented. A perfect tribute to all the doctors and to Doctor Who itself. Thank you.
I can't decide if i am geeking out more over the subject matter, or the wonderfully unique style...nicely done!
