My how much has changed. Watching the latest Fastcap vids really shows your growth and what continuous improvement looks like.
Congratulations!!! Paul and Team, here i´m after 12 years, watching again one of the my firsts watched FastCaps vídeos... !!!
Wow, what a journey! Wow a lider!
WOW . If only EVERY company was run like this, just think about how low unemployment suicides, depression, crime, layoffs, etc etc would be!?1 "THIS IS THE WAY" Fantastic videos love it Paul. Thank. You. We have a LOT to learn and implement. for sure.
Great video. Your energy, enthusiasm, and positive workplace are sure to enrich the lives of the employees.
If I may suggest getting a moving podium, to help the people leading the meeting and reading notes. I felt empathy with those guys reading from binders in hand.
It would be nice to see if and how in ten years the morning have changed! Thanks for all the video Paul and fastcap team!
This reminds me of my time in the Marines working on helicopters. Cool to see an improvement of that in the civilian world!
Excellent implementation of a culture, the culture of continuous improvement.
Thanks Luis!
Hi FastCap, just seen your video, really really good feeling from your morning meetings , I hope its still going !
Thanks Brian! Paul
Thanks Paul. Super helpful.
Your welcome Eric! Paul

Thanks Sinisa. We like it :)
To succeed out side you have to start inside!
well done...inspiring
+Mohamed Ali Thanks so much!
Hope all company does that!
If morning meetings are use to solve problems, then that is useful.
I totally agree! Thanks, Paul
Couple things...I have 3 Dachshunds. They have no idea how lucky they are to be my pets. Surely your employees know how lucky they are to work for you. Secondly....have you ever made a video about how your Fastcap Loco came to be? I would enjoy seeing that.
Great video. With all the info covered, what are the average lengths of your morning meetings aprox.
30 min to 60 min. It is literally a live teaching forum. Paul
Hi Fast Cap, first time watching your video and I'm so glad it was recommended. What are the 16 principles Fast Cap believes in? How have the meetings changed now days? Are you and your team using any software to actually track improvements?
Paul’s website: paulakers.net has the books (free!) and I understand the 16 principles can be found as a resource within the 2second lean book. Some were mentioned in the video (the group responses)
Paul is currently running an awesome virtual tour series with AME. Search AME 2 second lean and you should be able to find details - if you liked this video, you’ll enjoy the tours also.
Paul, Great video! :)
I´ve noticed that your emplyees wearing their own clothes at work and not a standard work clothes.
What is your policy for that? Is it common in USA (emplyees using their own clothes at work)?
Thanks again for the vid!
Now I will planning my next morning meet for my team! :)
Hey Markus: wearing your own clothes to work is common in the USA. Let me know how your morning meeting goes…or better yet, send a video.
Paul - do you have a list of forms and meeting topics used at Fastcap during your morning meetings? My 2 Second lean book is on loan to one of my staff members so I wasn't sure if you covered it in the book… Thanks for all the great videos. Eric / Furnace Record Pressing
Eric: Here is link to our Morning Meeting PDF. 2secondlean.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/MorningMeetingBook-20141030.pdf. Your right, it is referenced in the book. Paul
Where can I find out more about "the dashboard" part of the meeting?
Go to this link and look under the 3rd column (Lean Documents). paulakers.net/lean-videos
paul is there a list of the 16 fast cap principles somewhere?
You can find 21 principles here. paulakers.net/docs/morningmeeting.pdf You can find all our morning meeting documents here (under Lean Documents). www.fastcap.com/estore/pc/viewContent.asp?idpage=88
thanks!
put's my jobs morning meetings to shame. I can't get my boss to mention lean despite us being a lean factory. most the time she's not even there :/ When she is there, and asks if anyone has anything, no one feels like it's worth it to mention anything.
