  • There are many different methods to measure the pulse of a factory. Textbooks may tell you to take a mathematical approach, lean practitioners may tell you to take a visual queue approach and IT specialists may tell you to just let your ERP system run the entire factory. Regardless of the approach that you take, measuring the pulse of a factory is really based on two primary factors, the flow of materials and the flow of information. Thanks for the video and explanation. Let us remember that the benefits of implementing Gemba can be quantifiable and also of added value, such as better communication between all departments.

Great clear working. Would be interested how you store and review this over time to see longer performance. Also how you go about introducing and training the teams.
