If not in the Master Killer Halls already, I humbly submit my nomination for Isolation (2011) by Harms Way. Perfect listen from front to back, top to bottom. Every track goes hard; record does not let up even during the instrumental (Becoming). Insanely energetic, driving, and bouncy drums lay the foundation for seriously groovy, menacing riffs that are still highly-surprisingly!-catchy. Literally every track is distinguishable and each breakdown is recognizable. Appropriate samples throughout from one movie, so that gives the tracks a sense of continuity and ties the whole album together. Very personal and thematic lyrics delivered in a consistent vocal style. To be honest, I just needed a place to talk about how much I love this record. I will never tire of it. Even though the bystanders that I gym-mosh into on a regular basis probably do.
Overall, genuinely the first album that comes to mind when I think of a go-to/on-repeat album. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Darker Handcraft by Trap Them is one of the best heavy records ever made. It‘s got everything: hardcore, punk, metal, grind in a blender, catchy yet nasty riffs, unbridled aggression, vberkvlt art (RIP), weird poetic lyrics and ridiculous drumming (Chris Maggio is an unsung hero on the instrument and the drums on this album still make me chuckle because they‘re so over the top yet tasteful). Certainly doesn't‘t hurt that production and sequence are also great.

I think Jane Doe is perfectly acceptable as the ultimate Converge album. It stands on it's own, and everything after it is sort of like a tightening up and simplification. Deeper cuts like She's Electric, Some Might Say, and a closer the magnitude of Champagne Supernova is god tier, but Colin pulling out Slide Away as a counter almost completely negates that point. Most people know them for everything after the original singer left, but they were amazing while he was in the band.

My friends and me we had this conversation about Master Killer! and yes, i believe that what makes a record perfect is the one that you dont skip one single track. Non HXC records: The Smiths - The Queen is Dead, Morrissey - i was going to go for Bona Drag and Your Arsenal, but yes Vauxhall is merauder tier, American Nightmare - Background Music, and The Misfits - Walk among us.

I've heard some new, great music because of this video! Took me 4 hours to get through since I kept pausing & going off & listening to bands y'all mentioned! I'm no musician or professional like y'all, but _I was SHOCKED you didn't mention,_ Minor Threat, Out Of Step or Suicidal Tendencies, self-titled! Aren't these _both_ "Master Killers?!" Others, to me, are S.O.D. Speak English or Die. Black Flag, Jealous Again or Damaged. Judas Priest, Screaming For Vengeance. Die Kreuzen, self-titled. NoMeansNo, Wrong. Do any of these come close to "Master Killers?" Merauder sounds like a hardcore version of Slayer! They're a great band & Master Killer is a fantastic album, but I hear _lots_ of Slayer in them. Fantastic video!
