my x4 has hardbricked itself twice by letting the battery drain too low and crashing. It won't charge. It may have something to do with the motherboard not getting enough power to read temperature of the battery. If it cant read the temperature of the battery, the default value is -40C. I solved it the first time by flashing the firmware, which deleted all of my files. This time, I just want to slap the person that designed the phone and call it a day.
@@mechenzyhammah I found a blank flash file on a forum online and just plugged my phone into the computer and ran the file. The charging port on the phone has to work to use this method.

Most Motorola firmware contains a service XML file this file will flash the firmware without wiping the data on the device. It will need to be converter to a service.bat file to be able to flash it.

Most probably blankflash may not be helpful find nearest Local mobile repairing Shop who done emmc reprogramming (jtag service) that's the prominent way to get the device up!

You may need to take out the battery and rig up something to charge it externally. Tp4056 boards are suitable, they'll ping the battery with little bursts until the voltage creeps up above something like 2.5V from where they're kinda safe to charge and then go full send until the battery is at 4.2V and taper off then. This isn't even the limit of the battery, phones already since the first Moto pushed them to like 4.3-4.35V so it's mostly safe - except the temperature monitor in TP4056 boards is of course disconnected so you better keep an eye that it's not actually catching on fire. Does it do the noise that it's trying to do something when you plug it into PC to begin with? What other symptoms, does the screen light up under any circumstances?
@@SianaGearz it's still taking a charge at around 160mA. It just isn't registering as a device even with the Qualcomm usb and motorola drivers installed from the description. As for lighting up, it's just the little light like on the phone in the video

If the bootloader is in state flashing_locked before the blankflash, will it turn to unlocked after the flash?

yes that is the same problem just on a pixel 2. you will need a qualcomm file to fix it.
