It's so weird how did they get so much money to keep a dog alive but they can't pay the mortgage. I've met so many people who don't have money but will somehow find it to keep a dog alive. You're hurting the dog by keeping it. It's not going to have a good life because it's in pain.

Yeah, I work as a vet assistant and I always feel so bad for the dogs that are like that. I've literally seen dogs that look worse than the one they are using to parody them and they're just miserable. We have one in right now who looks like she died last year, hasn't eaten in like a week, and literally can't lift her head or move. They carried her in with a little kangaroo sack looking bag. Despite this the family wants us to try and keep her alive.

It's true. The youngest male SNL cast member they currently have is Andrew Dismukes, who was born in 1995 (for a while, it was Pete Davidson. And the youngest female current cast member is Sarah "Squirm" Sherman, who was born in 1993 like Pete Davidson, but she was born in March while he was born in November). Billie Eilish was born six years later in 2001. And Aristotle Athari (the husband in this sketch) is older than Billie and Andrew (he was born in 1991, which is four years before Andrew and ten years before Billie).
EDIT: The youngest male cast member SNL has now is Marcello Hernandez, who was born in 1997. Aristotle Athari isn't on the show anymore, but SNL does have another cast member who was born in 1991: Devon Walker (the tall, black guy who looks kind of like Pete Davidson).

Hey, I was able to go to the dentist when COVID was more-or-less going on. Sure, I had to get my temperature taken and fill out a questionnaire on whether or not I had it, but I still went.

I literally know a HUGE homeschool family with 13 kids now, and I swear in every Christmas card we got from them always had a lengthy letter bragging about what they did over the year, and the mom was always either pregnant or had another newborn

I actually work with a middle aged woman who has never married, and yeah, she does exactly that. She’s always taking vacations and showing off pictures of her in these crazy places. She just got back from hiking some mountain in Colorado. She could be lesbian, but I don’t know for sure. My other coworkers don’t think she is, but no one has really asked either.
That doesn't sound like the worst way to spend your time, honestly. Crazy vacations doing what you want. And then being mysterious on top of that. Basically a spy.

Me too. He’s not a full time contracted cast member, it usually takes a few seasons for that, so we don’t see him as often. But fingers crossed he continues to do well and get more sketches.

I had no idea what Billie Eilish looks like. I kept seeing her in stretch after sketch, thinking she was one of the new featured players... And wondering how all the sudden a new cast member was in so many sketches. That's how talented this young lady is... She came across like a seasoned sketch performer, and she's not even twenty yet. And I don't know, but I imagine she doesn't have much acting or comedy training.
Musicians kind of do have a lot of the performance skills that actors do, at least if they're singers, and a lot of them naturally make the transition. Think David Bowie, for example or, to a lesser extent, Mick Jagger. Or Ice Cube, Beyoncé, Mark Wahlberg, Cher, Queen Latifah, Lady Gaga, etc., etc.

A show off is usually very versatile. Whether it's singing or dancing or acting, they don't lack confidence. The vehicle they use to gain attention is very much secondary to the attention itself.

For ten years now a family has been sending those tacky show-off Christmas cards to the previous owners of our house. We've watched these stranger's kids grow up from elementary school and now are in college. And yes, we put their card up on our fridge and laugh about it. We can't wait to see photos of the future grandkids. 😂
update: we've just received our 11th. Card. I was a little worried they figured it out. Lol. The kids are doing great. Son is thinking about med school, Daughter wants to be an accountant. Yep, card is up on the fridge with the rest of the cards from people I actually know.☺️

I love this. I am divorced and still get them from my ex husbands female friend who is a Dr. and never used her degree so she’s really into the kids. So was watching them grow up for 5 years then I told her we were divorced Ed so she stopped sending them.
Challenge: Send a christmas card with pixelated heads and the inside blank apart from "Ashamed". Or you could unload with bad news: "Father has early dementia. Mother is incontinent. Brother has late stage cancer. Sister died in a freak accident at a meat processing plant. My children and wife don't respect me, the former which still live at home and the latter which has just left home. I am balding and have a spastic colon. Other than that, things are swell."
I can relate to the hunting card (my cousin sent a similar card once) and the bragging card. There always seems to be a bragger in the bunch.
