@@aliemrekacmaz3332 Don't know what more I can tell you, she grew up on Highgate Road, I grew up on Sandwell Street. I know her dad and mom in passing, she lived a few doors away from my friend, her and my friend know each other quite well. Actually, here's a reasonably interesting story, a few years ago she was walking down her road with Drake and they stopped and chatted with us, Drake's cool, seems nice. I'm about 12 years older than her.

I really don't get the hype around this girl.
A friend told me Everybody agrees to say she's beautiful ans has a nice voice.
So, I expected the most beautiful girl. She's not even if she's far from ugly.
I expected a great voice. I don't feel like it as she's not able to rise her tone or volume. When it comes to highten the pace, she lower down her voice. When it's certainly way better than my voice, it's not the best voice I've ever heard.
The only thing I find nice with her is the instrumental in her song "Blue Colors". But I don't really know if it's her own or a cover. That was AMAZING sound. But even there, her voice didn't amaze me.
Sylvain Denoel the first sober comment here, I even feel sorry for the musicians behind her when she starts singing high notes
This isn't her best performance but she is so worth the hype! Watch some of her other songs or performances. You won't be disappointed hopefully. She doesn't have a voice that fits everyone's preference but give her a chance.

As I said, I liked her "Blue Lights" song (which I listened to multiple times), including the texts and especially the instru'. But that's it.
I agree it's a matter of taste, but it's the point of my message. Somebody told me everybody agrees to say she is the best and I don't. Even if I admit she can sing, I much more prefer singers/groups like Ella Mai or H.E.R. (edit: both of these singer are less known in my country than this Jorja Smith) who have stronger voices.
But I'm pleased with your answer :)
