Another option, which seems to work equally well: 1) let frozen pizza thaw in fridge. It will keep for at least a few days thawed. 2) pre-heat skillet (non-stick is best) to med-high. Add olive or vegetable oil (butter burns too quick). 3) When hot, add thawed frozen pizza. Let brown on bottom for 1:30-2:00 minutes. Add toppings of your choice, if any. 4) After browning, lower temp to med-low and cover to let cheese, top crust, and toppings heat through. Let heat for 3-5 minutes. Remove from skillet and slice and serve. All cook times will vary and should be based on personal need and health/safety standards.
this genuinely works. i dont have an oven, only microwave and kitchen top. and this is perfect. beautifully melted cheese and cripsy bottom, thanks mate :)
I was skeptical but was desperate for pizza, I cant believe how amazing this tastes. I honestly prefer this way. Its faster then the oven and the CRUST was crispy and soooooo perfect I'm glad you did this video. Thank you
You, my friend, are a miracle! I just moved into a new apartment with my gf, and the oven made a strange burning smell and started making some smoke when we turned it on, so obviously we can't use it. I am soooo glad you made a video about this because now we can enjoy our frozen pizzas. Hats off to you!
Well thank you young sir, we just moved in our apartment and found out our oven doesn't work here at 520 furr street in San Antonio texas, and we can't afford to order pizza, so we bought a frozen from HEB, and that worked out perfect!!! Thank you very much!!!!
I'm currently eating a thick DiGiorno pizza this way thanks to your video - I did use a lid on mine so that the steam could melt the cheese to finish it off instead of putting in back into the microwave - it worked though... my god it worked lol
Our oven hasn't worked for several weeks so we've been buying pizza baked at pizza stores $$. I read your article and gave it a try. It worked perfectly. Not only was it crispy and hot, it took only 6 minutes!! A frozen pizza normally takes 15 to 20 minutes! I'm going to continue using your method even after I get my oven fixed!! 😋 Thank You.
YOU ARE A LEGEND !!! I'm student and I really wanted to find a way to eat pizza when I'm on budget so THANK GOD I FOUND YOUR VIDEO .. FOR REAL MAN THANK YYOOOUU SO MUCH!!!! #LifeSaver
Dude this is amazing. It works so well. It’s also weird but I happen to be in a studio in France with a frozen four cheese pizza with no oven, that’s why I looked for a solution. Thanks
that is a cool chronology to cook a frozen pizza - I would've have just tried either the pan or the microwave - though alternating between them probably helps cook the pizza better.
My oven just broke and my s.o and I had just bought this new frozen pizza and it was all dismay because of the stupid oven but you just saved us! Thank you sir, you are a wonderful human.
I know this video is old but Thank You!!! Is too hot to turn on the oven and this is great, my boys loved the pizza more this way then when I put it in the oven.
Awesome. Just the recipe I was looking for. This works great if you live in a home with no oven, but have a microwave and a hotplate. (think students in a dorm) Recipe worked perfectly. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thank you king!!! I followed these steps and it was perfect! I also added fresh onions and green peppers.. it almost tasted like something you’d get from your favorite local pizzeria
My hat goes off to you. In the last couple of days I destroyed two pizzas trying to follow this method. I ended up with a gooey, doughy something, but not pizza.I don't know what I did wrong but the the doughy pizza crust ended up stuck to the pan and burned on the bottom. When I moved the pizza to the frying pan it was so limp and saggy that it came apart in the frying pan. I thought it would cook into a pizza in the frying pan but just turne into a doughy, cheesy mass. I don't know what I did wrong, but I am sick of pizza now. Will not want to try again for a long time. I am glad the rest of yours turned out.
If you don't mind one more step at the end..... a toaster oven helps to crisp the top to your liking, by adding spots of wonderful browning here and there.
Nice video. I've tried doing pan only without the microwave and the cheese on top never got quite fully cooked. Never thought about doing a combination of both. I actually have an oven but I live in a really small place and hate turning it on any more than I absolutely have to because it heats up the entire place period again thanks for the video. You saved me a small fortune and pizza delivery now I can go back to Frozen which is much better on the wallet.
my oven's been busted for a month now all i have is a griddle and the broiler and i miss pizza so im sure i'll be revisiting this frequently and im just gonna save myself some time 👇👇👇 *i was very skeptical of this at first but honestly i gave it a shot and it was the best frozen pizza i've ever had and even tho it's more tedious i prefer it cooked this way now* *for anyone else, i've tried and adjusted the cook times for my own self* 1. microwave frozen pizza for 1½ minutes. (cheese should be sliiightly starting to melt) 2. put pizza into a hot **dry** pan on medium to medium high heat and loosely cover. (note; i tried just spraying my pan with pam and i didn't like how it was cooking like that, i ended up taking the pizza out and carefully wiping the pam/oil off the pan, JUST USE A DRY PAN) cook for 3-5 minutes, bottom of pizza should be just starting to stiffen, but it's definitely still limp and floppy. 3. take pizza out of pan and microwave for another 1½ minutes. (cheese should be fully melted and bubbling) 4. return pizza to pan (still loosely covered) and brown the bottom of the pizza to desired crispness. (for me this is about 20 minutes, but be sure to check the bottom frequently, about every 3 minutes, bottom should sound scratchy when scraped with a knife) 5. OPTIONAL: broil on low for 1½-2 minutes to brown the cheese.
Yooo. I dreamed of pizza because my oven was no longer working and I was searching for a way to cook a pizza on a pan even if it's homemade or bought from the store as frozen but this really helped because I was craving for one. This really helped.
So glad there was actually a video, haha. I'm studying abroad in Praha and just realized our oven doesn't work, so at least it wasn't homemade mac, and I'm just feeling ill & lazy. Thanks, dude. (But also -- the elevator music!)
just tried it and it does work. but i found out an easyer way put stove on medium low and keep it on there for 5minutes and keep pulling it up so it wont stick then simply put it on oven for 4 min.
Love this! Question though, after putting it on the microwave and then when you put it on the stove top- and then you take it off and put it back in the microwave - could we maybe just put a lid over top the pizza while it's on the stove? For a couple minutes till the cheese melts more in there with the steam and then take the lid off for a minute or 2?
Thank you so much for the tips. I did mine a little different though. I put it in the microwave for the minute and a half, then put it in the skillet but instead of putting it back in the microwave, my broiler actually works, I need a new ignitor for the oven though, anyway I put the pizza on a cookie sheet and broiled on low for about 2 minutes and it turned out great! Thanks again!🤗 (Edit: I forgot to mention that I only had a cheese pizza so times will vary with more toppings.)
Nice. I'm gonna try 3 min in the microwave and 3 on the pan. Shouldn't make too much of a difference but save me some time from moving it back and forth.
most of frozen pizzas are already cooked in factories i just over heated my pizza in first time and i've burned the bottom but trick is microwave defrost the dough and melt the cheeses , and pan make it crispier
Worked remarkably well! I do however hate that my pan is just barely pizza shaped (the edges deform the pizza a little). Though aside from a few minor complications (unevan cooking) it's a remarkably good technique! Not quite as good as an oven, but certainly viable in a pinch. PS: would you advise me putting it in a pan for a bit if I were to reheat leftovers?
That's the thing, may have to cut it first if the pan is too small! Good for emergencies 👍. Yep do the same thing for leftovers, keep an eye that bottom doesn't burn!
@@premgrewalAh! I see. It was just one of those weird cases where it fit into the pan, just at a weird angle, but I will remember to do that next time. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I'm a student and really craved pizza... However I don't know why but when I put it in the pan it sticks horribly... Also the cheese didn't melt in the microwave... Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but next time I'll try to put it on baking paper on the pan
thx! my element wont be ordered for a week and after power out I Have to cook my pizza!. couldnt 'grill 'it because my curent bbq is plate style instead of open with racks
Thank you sooo sooo sooo much ... it really worked so well .. u made my day !!! :)

did this as well, though I had pan size my large burner and oven element are on order. Even and like a pan pizza
Thank you, you lovely internet stranger.
Grazie mille
A broken oven brought me here too! Thank you sir this actually works!
Nigeria Parker cut it in half , and do one half in the microwave while the other is in the pan 👍🏻
I can't believed this actually worked lol thanks! My oven has been broken for months and I was really craving a pizza but had no money
awkwardfuntimes My oven broke after a house inspection, I told the relator and he of course blew it off as nothing.
Every time I turn on oven fuses in kitchen go off so this video was a savior
Bro literally the same. I’m broke my oven does not work, but I’m so afraid to try this lol

You can also use the George Foreman grill to cook the bottom. It works real well if you do not have a big enough pan.
IT FREAKING WORKS!!!! The crust was JUST as crunchy made this way...thank you!!
I'm watching this, being currently a student in France with a microwave but no oven..👌🇫🇷 Thanks!

Good job Prem, well done!
Awesome video. No oil ruined my first attempt as it stuck to the pan. With a bit of olive oil on the pan it worked perfectly
I sometimes do it with the pan only, with two pizzas, toppings together and crusts on the outside.
I had to extend the times you gave, but the pizza turned out almost indistinguishable from an oven baked one. Thank you.
