When I was a uni student I basically loved on stove pizza. I made a dough on the weekend and frizzed it making individual pieces and just get one out, unfrizzed it on the microwave and pit it in a pan, sone sauce, sone cheese and done.

This is by far the best stovetop pizza I've ever seen.. I was not able to swallow the idea of crisping the bottom and steaming the top in others that I've seen around lately.. but i don't know why it never crossed my mind to just crisp the top first then cook the bottom!

Many thanks for this recipe it was given 10/10 in my household. I veganized it and will look at your other stovetop recipes as we are no longer using the oven, unless strictly necessary and no doubt at Christmas. Baby George is cute. 😊

Hi Gemma.. I made Banana bread and bread-without-yeast recipe following exactly your recipe.. It was my first attempt as bread making and as my oven need repair, both i prepared on stove-top.. Both of them lasted only couple of minutes after serve.. Thank you so so much for such easy wonder recipe..

Making it now for my husband, thank you very helpful 😊 I had previously attempted making it but didnt flip it. I just placed it on the pan and went ahead and added the tomato sauce, the cheese, and the toppings.

Hi Gemma. Made the stove top pizza and measured dough to make 3 pizza bases. I did an experiment with one of the pizzas and drained some left over Chilli Con Carne and used it as a topping. Very tasty and so easy to produce.

Hi Bushra. Both sides can be crisp, but the bottom would tend to be more crisp as the top will have sauce and toppings on it. But this can really be a crisp pizza dough.

What a smart move! I love pizza a lot! I sometimes don’t like how long it can take to preheat my oven. I have an older oven that doesn’t allow me to operate both the stove and the oven at the same time.

I had yeast in the freezer for 10 years. (Didn't bake for a long time.) I am amazed it is still active.
