I made two of the cardinal vases last year for friends who had lost family members. They came out great in the end, but it was a struggle, especially the words. Now I want to make another one, for myself! The reverse weeding technique looks so much more manageable. And it always makes so much more sense when I see the demonstration!

wow amazing. I just did my first reverse weeding and I loved it. Thank you would have never thought of it. p.s. I did find laying the back of the transfer sheet paper across the exposed vinyl helped me from not sticking to the vinyl itself.

My mom's favorite bird (and mine!) was the Cardinal. So every time I see one I think of her (and yellow butterflies!). This is so pretty with the birch trees. So classic. And the 'Let it Snow' is so very pretty.

I illustrate my own designs and would love to have them as a vinyl but they do have intricate tiny parts. I totally messed up the first one, as I did it via the usual method of weeding on the backing....a total mess!! 😂
