On April 16, a severe thunderstorm ended up hitting my area with atleast 50 mph winds and quarter sized hail. We had been under a Tornado Watch for the day and we were under an enhanced risk for severe weather. I don’t think we ended up getting any big damage from the storm but we could’ve maybe gotten small siding damage. This was the first severe storm of the season to directly hit my area! A Tornado Warning was also issued too later in the video. Sirens sounded later in the video. It ended up being just a radar indicated tornado though I think. There was also several other tornadoes that were confirmed in other parts of Iowa. Anyways this was definitely a sort of intense storm and I think this was the first storm to directly hit here since July last year. Recorded April 16, 2024.
