    Hi Brandon
    I have always found you inspirational and your hikes fantastic.
    Great filming talent along with a fired up positive attitude and enthusiasm.
    My wife and I spent the first 2 weeks of October 2021 in Colorado, primarily in Leadville and Crested Butte.
    She enjoyed reading and relaxing - I knocked out some nostalgic 14’rs that my son and I hiked decades ago.
    Snow stayed at zero during our stay - always a roll of the dice in late fall.
    I’m a bit slower and more cautious as a 63 year old but my conditioning is better than most like age folk.
    Your adage ‘get out there and enjoy what we got’ came to me whenever I consider a beer day.
    Time is fleeting - let’s do this - I still had a the beer but only as a reward when complete.
    Appreciate your content, narration, morals, etc. Thank You!
    Have a great holiday and a safe/productive 2022!!

      Truly love this comment Kirk. I've lost quite a few people in 2021. I've really analyzed my career and life goals. Like you, I was out a lot in the fall in Colorado. It was amazing. Leaves were late this year, adventures could still be called further than expected. I mean it in every video: appreciate what we got.

    From another video I saw you in, I believe in the Grand Canyon, "Pain is temporary, glory is forever"...that has stuck with me. Love to see these videos, they help me push myself on my own hikes too!

      Thank you Amy. Yes, I said that in the video! I also have told my friends and posted in IG that you must 'tame the pain'. When you push your limits, it's gonna hurt...so prepare yourself for the mental challenge of being your biggest ally.

    I am amazed to see this accomplishment! I have Hiked from Loveland Pass to Grizzly. I have hiked Grays and Torreys. I have hiked Square Top. All in separate hikes. This year, I plan to do Argentine and Edwards from the Argentine Pass trail in Montezuma. I have never even fathomed doing that whole route in one day. My dream through hike would be to go from Berthoud Pass to St. Mary's over Mt. Flora, Eva, Parry, Bancroft, and James Peak. we will see if that ever happens! Thanks for the inspiration!!

    Brandon, thanks for bringing this and other amazing adventures to us year round! 😁
    I just won a lottery pick to hike the JMT early-mid June. I know there will still be lots of snow, but I'm looking forward to the challenge of keeping my feet dry and warm while keeping 12 hours of sun off my skin. I have never hiked out West, but completed the northern half of the AT over the last 5 years, some in snow.
    Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Central CT. 🎇🎄
    P.S. We got 1" of snow this morning and it appears the it will last thru Christmas morning. ❄

      @FoorTrek  2 года назад

      Congrats on the JMT lottery! There will be lots of snow in the peaks sierras still (hopefully) and you'll fall in love with hiking out west. That's what happened to me!

    Wonderful hike and congratulations on this accomplishment! This might be a silly question, but how did you get back to your car at Loveland Pass? Did a friend meet you at Guanella Pass and drive you back? I’ve wanted to do Loveland Pass to Grays and Torreys and come down the Grays Peak Trail, but I always wondered about the logistics.

    • @FoorTrek
      @FoorTrek  2 года назад +1

      Thank you Jonathan! Logistics is a big challenge! I had a friend drive separate to Guanella pass, left my car there, and he drove me to Loveland pass. It's one LONG day so it's gotta be a bluebird day.

    Insane hike! How long would it be to do grays and torreys from loveland out and back?

    • @FoorTrek
      @FoorTrek  2 года назад

      It would be a long day for sure. You have to hit minimum 2 13ers with an elevation loss back to around 12K to head up the steep section of Torreys, then Grays, then back to the saddle and head towards loveland.
