I need that humongous toolbox for my art stuff! 😄 I would need to build on to my house to have room for one, though. I think your videos are excellent, especially if you like jeep stuff, camping, etc. Good luck - your channel is dandy!
I love the way you start your videos with, "How are you doing today?" So kind of you to ask. How are YOU doing today? Sending hugs across the miles to and your sweet wife. Have a cozy weekend! ☺️ - 💜🌹💜
I would highly recommend you get an Ugly Stik travel rod instead of the telescopic thing. The Ugly Stik seperates into several sections and I am sure it's far more durable and usable. And get a Penn Fierce reel, size 2000 and fill it with 10 lb test line. I use braid. I know you got your stuff on a budget but super cheap fishin' stuff is usually very frustrating. It doesn't cast well, doesn't retrieve lures correctly, and the drag may fail when you need it most. So I think you should get decent quality stuff if you decide you like catching fish and want to get good at it. I'm experienced with cheap and expensive tackle, Ugly Stiks and Penns are the best value in my opinion. And if you want super durable lures you should buy Z Man soft plastics. They catch lots of fish before they get ruined compared to other brands.
Thank you for the advice, that is a lot of knowledge. My thought was to go low budget and see where it takes me. I tend to jump into new hobbies with full check books only to decide a short time later that I’m not all that interested. I want to get into this with a $100 budget and see where it goes. That all said, I will take your advice to heart for future upgrades.
Great idea on the collapsible rod
eal.
I am glad to see you are still watching. Thanks for the comment.
That's a great idea. Great pastime and you can catch some food while you're overlanding.
So true, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Nice, you should take a look into Tenkara rods, the fly fishing style without a reel, and its kind of minimalist less fishing gears.
Thanks, Ill check them out.
