  • The final chapter! In this video I test out the speaker after letting the sealant cure for a few hours, and then play music through it to see if it holds up. I then perform additional audio tests. Watch to the end to see some interesting tests!

    Great job, i really enjoyed the video. I'll probably boost my soundlink mini 2 with 2x21700 instead of the original 2x18650 but i will need to 3D print a new battery case. If i get successful, i won't need to change the battery for the next 10 years, plus 24h playback-time with 1 charge.

      Thanks! Just occurred to me that modifying the case like that might really alter the sound signature of the speaker, as there will be more volume taken up by batteries in the sealed enclosure.

    What Kind of Tape Or Glue I Need To Use To Put That Rubber Part Again Is Not Paste

      I think any very thin, very sticky two-way tape will work. I haven't tried any, since the tape is still holding.
