Already planning a visit! On the chance you are looking for topics- something about appropriate attire in Croatia would be much appreciated! As an American so many "tips" are "don't look like an American, don't wear shorts, no denim, etc." but then some say those are outdated, or that those things are accepted only on the coast...it's a bit stressful and I'm having trouble find anything concrete from locals.

But you have many great red wines all along, postup, pošip, plavac mali to terran in istria, you have hundreads literally of wine sorts, bigger islands have on its own several wine sorts indigneous only to them, you have also red desert wine prošek, which is nothing like italian prosecco, that's table wine, this is desert wine, sweet and thick like oil, the name commonality comes from the name for the wine press i think, anyways i'm sure there are plenty of wine maps of the country, just google it a bit.

because how beautiful croatia coast is, tourism is heavy, for example once i was relaxing in very remote bay away from any towns and as remote as u can get in croatia without going islands, and ofc a boat arrive with 5 british youth and they idk why just screeemed and shouted like crazy for hours absolutely ruining vibe of this even remote bay, so thats rly a problem in summer and even september too.

Both of the taxi drivers were telling us of all their problems about living in Split. And I love the fact everything is walkable and I was very impressed how there was a supermarket every 2 houses - or at least seems like it! There was a Studentac two doors down, another Studentac about 10 doors down and then behind us on a parallel street a Tommy Supermarket (a local Split chain I believe).
