@@carterhohenbrink6402 Its not that its "Too expensive" (lego has released some *VERY* pricey sets), its that you need a $120 set to go with it, on top of the already expensive tower, and there just simply isn't enough demand for it to be worth them putting into production (even as a limited run) (Supply and demand)
Thank you to the time-lapse. It is really helping with my build. I have questions tho. I frame stepped the build of (what I call) the crane mechanical room so I have it figured out. I can't seem to find it in Bailey Fullerton's instructions. Did he miss them? Are you using a resource for instructions for it? Just curious. Like I said...I think I have in figured out.
Mine is all genuine lego pieces that I bought separately and built from plans supplied by the original designer, so no issues when building mine, I have seen a lot of people buy copycat sets and complain of missing pieces, poor instructions and generally have just been ripped off altogether.
Where did you buy yours from? I sourced all the pieces individually and built from custom design instructions provided by Bailey Fullarton. Mine is not a set that you can just buy. If you have bought yours as a set then I suggest you go back to whoever supplied it to you and complain to them as I think you may have been ripped off.
Ok, so have you sourced all the pieces individually from BrickLink/Lego or did you buy it as a complete set from an online website? I know Vonado are selling one as a set and they have used my video without permission on their website, many people who bought from this website have complained about missing pieces & instructions.
Hope you don’t mind me asking, but do you design these? If not, are you willing to share the instructions to these projects? I’d be willing to pay for the instructions. Please let me know. My son is in love with space and legos!
Really want to build this and it seems there are a few versions. A legit LEGO one and a crappy knockoff one. From what I can tell, the gas lines are the key factor. Either they’re smooth or rigid, smooth being the good one. I have the plans and all the files, but no bricks. Any idea how much it’ll run to buy all these bricks separately?
I really wish Lego would've just taken the time to design the correct fins for the Saturn V release. I mean really? The Saturn V does not have swept fins. One detail they chose to ignore. I got a 3D-set printed set from Shapeway but at 25% of the cost of the kit...but so expensive compared to the other pieces.
I get where your coming from, but it can be expensive to make new molds for pieces. I’m not saying it’s not doable, it’s just expensive. They also don’t make new parts for idea sets so there’s really no way we could’ve gotten better fins without making them too wide anyway.
The $950 is for the LUT in the video. It has over 4300 pieces. The post by dolevkimkashmastered is a different LUT. It is the one from Ideas and has a bit under 3000 pieces. They are both great but will cost a bit different due to part count and part rareity.

Hi Tailsby, how does the ordering process on brickslink work? I tried to figger this out myself, but didn''t manage. There will probably not be 1 shop with all these items, so it is going to be lots of partially orders, for each you will have to pay shipping costs, keep track of what parts you received and still need. Seems a hell of a job. Any easy shortcut?
Hi Thomas, did you order yours as a kit from a website? I ordered all of the pieces separately for mine, mine is not a kit bought from a retailer it’s individual pieces ordered separately so I could build the model. Oh, dear, I did not know this. I ordered from Techmocs because I read about the Tower being declined at Lego Ideas, and then the Tecmocs ad popped up at Facebook. I really wanted it, however I do not like ordering a lot of parts from the LEGO website, as it is user unfriendly, so it seemed practical that someone offered all the parts in one set. You can only order a limited amount of parts per order by LEGO and you cannot save/duplicate orders if you want more sets of the same bricks. And it is extremely expencive. I did not know they stole the drawings from you, however in the future, I will probably order less items from chinese sites, first China needs to come to a settlement with the world about Covid 19, they kept the epidemic secret long enough, to let it be a pandemic. Which ironically was the reason I ordered the kit to have something to do during the lockdown, but it took two months before I got the kit, with no instructions!
Yes that’s the risk you take ordering kits like this online. Firstly they are not genuine Lego pieces, I’ve heard of people not getting instructions and also only a fraction of the pieces arriving. I would request a refund if I were you or if you paid with PayPal lodge a PayPal dispute against them and hopefully get your money back.

How Many did this project cost
Awesome
Using Bricklink and the included XML file to gather the parts my estimated price is about €1,300 before shipping, with parts coming from about 18 stores scattered all over the European Union. Either I'm doing this wrong or this thing is way out of my comfort zone.
Robert Feiner I think the price of this thing has shot up due to people sourcing the rarer parts, I’m glad I got in there early when I built this but it was still expensive!
Anyway of getting the plans and any other details from you please ?!
Why not dmspace odysey as a music?
what would be a good website to buy the pieces ?
Noah Ybarra Try BrickLink
okay thank you and also roughly how much was it for all the bricks
Shouldn't the flame trench, well you know BE OPEN!!!????
How much for all the parts
Can I have the instructions please ? :)
Hi Is it made from real Lego bricks? How long was it take to build it?
Yes everything including the Rocket are made from real Lego bricks. The tower took about 20hrs
@@tailsby Great! Thank you!
@@tailsby I got today that tower, and didn't find any lego logo on bricks. Do you have the same?
@@tailsby where did you buy that?
Павел Семёнов Where did you buy it from? I ordered all of my parts separately and built it myself this is not a kit. Mine is all genuine Lego pieces.
Ok who sells this.
What's that song in the background?
It’s my friends band called Triggerfish, you can hear some of their other songs in my videos.
No wonder I couldn't find it... I was hoping I could use it for a vid of my own... It's a good song... nevermind
Yeah it’s a great song, shame the band are no longer together, they put out some great stuff. There’s a few videos on RUclips of a couple of their gigs. The singer is now a solo artist who can be found on iTunes under ‘Ratcliff’
Well let me show you what I mean... ruclips.net/video/8k7JBryYu1U/видео.html
this is how I do my stuff, and if I knew the lead singer's name (As well as the lyrics) I'd have made a vid like that
Can you buy this?
No this is not an official set, these are Lego pieces I collected individually to build this. If you see websites advertising selling this please be careful, they do not use official Lego pieces and I heard nothing but trouble from people who bought it, the company even used my video without my permission, I do not endorse any websites selling this and using my video.
Great video
