You have raised you betta babies together successfully with your experience and they look so healthy and beautiful. It is important for betta beginners to remember its always 1 male per tank. Im excited to see you jar them up. Females 5 can make sorority but sororities aren't for everyone. I love females just as much as the males. I just divided a 20 long for 2 beautiful females arriving soon. Female bettas need love too. Im so happy you are feeling better and back to videos. I have been following you on youtube for a while now and I've really enjoyed the baby betta journey ❤ thankyou for sharing it with us.
That cellophane male sparring with the red,an orange has caught my eye in a couple of your videos. He is beautiful. I've been thinking about trying to breed for about a year. Just haven't yet.
I have 50-60 “Halfmoon” betta splendid grown together and they all are fine..., but I see a difference in aggression and broken fins mostly with my “veiltail betta” spawn. They are almost 8 months old now.
This is very interesting. Personally I find the only ethical sorority is one of which all the females have been together since they hatched. My LFS currently has male and female alien bettas together but they are imbellis and stiktos hybrids. It's very cool to see the males interact with each other without actually harming one another.
The jarring is what makes them more aggressive and fight. Female from a grown out sorority group isolated will fight if they rejoin their sorority to quickly. You have to gradually introduce them back to the group again.
3:45 TANK A - at the bottom a solid blue one looked aggressive, and near the top a mostly white/clear with some blue centered in back fin was too. 4:55 TANK A - there is a white one with some blue in the top fine and center/top of back tail… that one seems super aggressive. At bottom of tank is a big one, white back half with bold red on top of head and on bottom fin…. That one seemed chill while exploring the tank bottom but at the end got all aggressive and saw off a few others. Was it getting territorial?
Thank you! I have to decide if I want to ship them again or if I want to sell them locally this year. When I have everything figured out, I will make a video explaining my plans.
I love the orange boy he reminds me of my orange boy i used to have that was a orange veiltail named legolas he was very personable and would always greet me with excitement.
6:22 tank b Looks like the white with bold blue tail tried to start something with a white one (that has angled line in back tail where it goes from white to clear) and then angled line white fish was taking no guff. Saw off blue tail and went back for more later.
I am so so jealous of you but also look up to you like a great inspiration and example. Your babies are just sooo beautiful and their fins are awesome, just perfectly clean as well as your tanks. I successfully reproduced betta fish 3 years ago and was very glad and had some beautiful babies. But i kept trying those last few months with different males and females, but to no avail... and i gave up. But i look up to you and wish one day i'll get the courage to try again ❤
3:45 TANK 1 - I didnt see much aggression? Some of the all white ones and the two with white bodies and red fins seemed very excitable. The big dark red one with some blue at the base of the top fin seemed like it had a moment of seeing off another fish but was otherwise chill? Like maybe that one felt safe being bigger than the others maybe?? 4:55 TANK 1 - okay yeah that big red one with some blue at base of top fin is so aggressive. Tho the other solid red one a bit smaller did seem to start the tiff… came at the big one all poofed up. Oh but at 5:54 the big one went after another fishy, one with red and blue mixed in and as a rim around tail. Also there is one with an almost peach colored body… its so pretty!!! Ooooh at 5:52, one a base white body but blue specks, did it start to go after another fish and then change its mind? Or was it just escaping almost bumping noses with a clear one.
I’ve never really got how you tell the difference of the gender in short finned bettas… like my male koi is not aggressive at all but my supposed female betta is really aggressive so im kinda confused
I just want a tank mate lol i actually don’t know how to keep a female betta with a male betta. I like to observe to tend to little things. I don’t know how to react. I have a male betta which am currently looking for tank mates. I want a female betta to hang with the betta in my tank
Growing up together really raises the threshold of tolerating each other LOL
Yup, it's so interesting to observe 😊
Betta behavior is very context dependent as well and it's very cool to read more into it! Totally recommend looking into some scientific articles!

I love the white star tail with the red head and tail; such a stunning fish!❤️
Thanks!
Thank you for your support ❤️
Yay! I’ve been wanting to see the betta babies. They are so cute!
😯 so many beautiful bettas

Those plakats males flaring at each other are gorgeous! I hope they can spawn some day!

Only two of my females are sisters and the rest are unrelated. I have ten and they're all doing really well. It really depends on your tank set-up.
@@pianobench6319 Yeah, they are like cats in this regard.
They live together sooo well~ awesome~👍
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
You're fish are so beautiful you have done an amazing job ❤️ 💜 I love learning from you thank you 😊

Beautiful bettas!! 😍 Are you bettas available for purchase??
Thank you!

@@CreativePetKeeping I have some about 3.5 months and I have no idea the shipping label process. I'm looking forward to that video!

So nice! At what month do you usually put them up for sale?
I was wondering the same thing!
@@AmyWaridi I figured it out, lol. 3-4 months, mine are going up on ebay this week! Same name as here 😊
I separate my male bettas using the hornwort plant as a floater plants and it works very well.
You're series really has me considering an attempt at breeding Bettas again 😅 my last attempt failed miserably

Ope later at snack time white with blue specks was chasing others around
Is peach shy? They stayed at the bottom even at snack time
How do they do it in the wild, do they just fight till the death?
Awesome!!

Do the males get tired and stressed from constantly posturing?
I want to save multiple beautiful bettas. I’m glad I can do this. Will be fun to set up a latger tank too
❤👍❤👍❤👍
Secret History in Your Aquarium did a video on the "red gene" of bettas causing responsible for more aggression behavior in bettas. Interesting.
I will have to check it out! Thanks for letting me know ^_^

Could you do 1 male with 6 females In a 32 gallon tank?
👍👍
Is that a pregnant guppy in that one tank? Not a bad idea...
Do you sell your Bettas?
First
