I do think the audible announcement outside the cab is enough. New Zealand has not gone woke, they still allow buses from the 80s and 90s to run school kids around in the big cities like London and its fine, probably saved the environment by reusing the same bus until it rattles apart.
@@joshuahill6153 the school busses round my area are from the early 90’s and they are still using the same busses I rode on to school 15 years ago. Don’t forget many school busses are only for schools so the mileage is usually quite low as they are only doing like 50 miles a day so they last much longer than busses that drive all day long. (Edit. I live like 40 miles from London)
When you reversed in behind the crane and those big bright led lights came on, I literally shouted out F**k YEA.... 😂😂 looked absolutely amazing, and serious bit of driving to reverse into that spot.... Nice.....
Tim, get yourself a London Lorry Ban map. It shows the approved roads to use at certain times. Another fine you can pickup if you go on the wrong road at the wrong time.
I do enjoy watching your videos on RUclips you've got a good sense of humor. It was good watching you drive through London. It seems you have quite a fun with all the people that you know.
That blind spot detection system is so frustrating, I had it on of our trucks at work and it pinged its head off all the way across the Prince of Wales bridge picking up the cones from the roadworks😳
I’ve had it on a few trucks some are good and don’t go off often some of them like one recently where I had to drive to the centre of London I was stuck in traffic moving about a cm every 10 minutes for 6 miles ( took me 4 and a half hours to do 8 miles) with a tree next to me it was pinging the whole time and I wish i could’ve thrown it out the window 😂
TfL are wankers, my discovery 3 has a plate of an old coach and their system won’t update so if I went into london it would be around £400 instead of the 12.50 it should be! They asked for photos of the car but their system will not take them! It’s all a big scam!
Hi Tim, im from ireland iv only starting to watch your videos bout couple of months ago and i love your videos. I love the video you made of yourself heading into the city of London, and when your pedestrian detector wasn't really working when there was pedestrians walking on the footpaths on the left off tour truck, but when you went outside of London out on the country roads your pedestrian detector was going bonkers. You are brilliant and you crack me up every time i watch you. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Caution pedestrian to the left, caution pedestrian to the left, caution pedestrian to the left, caution pedestrian to the left. You’re going to be haunted by that sound for quite some time. Great vlog, Tim. ❤😂😂
Great enjoyable video again Tim , loaded not far from were you were on Monday , London is a absolute night mere best of times , no one wants to stop nor give way 🤙🤙🤙🤙
I’m a bin man and these sensors are the bane of our existence. We had a spare driver get rushed to hospital due to the auto brake feature slamming the brakes on and rupturing his spleen… THE BRAKES ENGAGED DUE TO A PEDESTRIAN RAILING ON A 60mph ROAD 🤦♂️
Thank god I live in Ireland so it’s not just as tight for these things however 95% of work is in England so we have the DVS system but it’s not just as bad as that system Tim has. The auto breaking is just another game altogether, I turn it off everytime, nearly causes more accidents than ever I think anyway, but that’s what we are all up against folks
Well I'll be damned, I was on a classtrip in London and we were in a motel right around the corner there and walked through that passage underneath that scaffolding. Awesome to see it again, brought back some good memories. Thank you
I feel your pain Tim! I Got DVS on my truck. It just sounds a buzzer when 'pedestrians' are nearby. Along with mirrors, blindspot cameras, and mirrorcams. Supposed to be a less distraction 🤦 drives me insane!
First video I see of yours was you going to Bow East London. Where I live. As a born and bred Londoner. London is nice at night. Even though you might get some nut case's out.
Great video Tim. You definitely got your step in walking up and down all them stairs. Look like you had great fun ridding the bike, and ant needs to fit an isolation switch as the detention warning will drive u up the wall.
Hi Tim it's George, just to make you aware mate, not sure if you know! But caution! There's a pedestrian on the left! What a nightmare! Great video as always 👍
Glad it isn't just my cameras that say caution pedestrian when it's really a lamp post or traffic cone I m passing , so annoying, cracking vid tho drive , top job as always , keep em coming mate. Ba Baaarb !!!! Stay lucky 👍👍
The Yellow and Green machine at the services is a Pea Viner, in otherwords a Pea Harvester. Used to see loads of them in East Yorkshire as they grow the majority of the UK's Peas in the fields around there.
Thats a big truck in an even bigger city! Hard woork Sir Trucker Tim! In Sweden, Stockholm biggest, 1 000 000 People, moore or less! Thanks from Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😊😅😊
Good 'ol London town don't you just love it! I got a run to Chalk Farm tomorrow 15 pallets of plants from tamar nurseies to the posh haverstock school ! - Only in a 26t rigid though!

Great video again tim. Got here early, and then a notification came up for a video. If I'm honest, the crane was a lot smaller than I imagined. I thought you were moving the large one that lifted the little crane as well but still enjoyed the video. I also don't know how you lasted so long with the beeping. I probably would have ripped the fuse out after 5 minutes. Tho if you did buy that crane you could use it on jobs or help shaun out with things. I imagine not like 200 tonne things but could always lift a cab with it if you needed to
I drive a long wheel base 3.5 ton flatbed in London most days and it’s tight in that let alone an artic 🎩 off to all of you that do great drivers (most of them 😂)
Someone I new was off work for about 3 weeks with respatrey problems that he apparently got in our garage when he breathed in WD40 fumes from 10 yards away from where he was standing, it didn't seem to affect Steve the mechanic who was spraying it ,however in that time he could use the tannoy at 2 horse shows without a problem. I wonder who he worked for ,Islington Council! and they wonder why they are short of money! Tim
Ive just spent 4 days in london and since my previous visit 14 months ago horn blowing seems to be a thing now ! whats going on ?,. great video "content" tim, cheers ,.
Next maintenance in -200.000 miles...😂😂😂😂 And tip for Tim: if you rip the blue labels off from straps, they are by law not usable anymore. So you can basically throw them in the bin. Tip 2: find a scissor and cut the wires to that awful camera system.
