It's a true statement haha. Here's a little story to confirm that.
There was this guy who my grandfather knew of (maybe a mutual friend; can't remember off the top of my head) who was involved in a road rage incident. He was on a motorcycle and got chased by another guy in a car. The dude was zooming on his motorcycle, he went too fast to make a turn and he smashed into someone's front porch.
Of course, going that speed he was dead on impact, but the worst part is there were pieces of him scattered around and had to be picked up with shovels.

Texas trooper was cool as hell. He could've easily slapped him a ticket for reckless driving and no license plate while also impounding the bike.

Texas DPS has always been cool to me. Way too many stories with them. One drove my Subi STI about 130mph on the HWY. Another wrote me a ticket for 103 in a 60 and caught me the next day to joke about it (good way though). Yet another warned me about expired registration while on my way to the Tax Office to renew, but admitted he pulled me over because he liked my license plate (PWN4G3). We talked about video games for a few minutes before wishing me a good day.
I know this location i live like 3 miles from here the apartment up top got destroyed by a tornado 3 years ago but the built it back
Funny story.... Last night I got pulled over by a State trooper, keep in mind my first time ever being in trouble, and First time being pulled over I was pulled over because I was doing apparently "60" in a 45 right where the 55 and 45 intertwined, Overall had a bad night was just at work trying to hurry up get back to the shop and close, long story Short The state trooper hit me with a flat $141 ticket 😂🤣 Didn't intentionally drive fast I was just driving and yeah so stay safe out there y'all and have a lovely Merry Christmas.

Michael Gamble I’m willing to bet you’re under the age of 16 or don’t have your license if you think that doing a wheelie on the street isn’t illegal lol. And I PERSONALLY have seen a motorcycle cause an accident that I was involved in. A motorcycle was doing a wheelie through a stop sign and the car in front of me, who had the right away, slammed on their brakes to avoid a collision, unfortunately I had to swerve to avoid the car in front of me. There were no injuries, and just minor damage from a curb, but don’t fool yourself thinking motorcycles can’t cause accidents. They require just as much responsibility as any other vehicle on the road. And if you think otherwise I pray you don’t ride.

@Michael Gamble sorry man but quite a few accidents that's involve a motorcycle has shared fault between the motorcycle and car. Are there times where it's 100% the cars fault? Absolutely. I've been run off the road and cut off multiple times but I've also had plenty of close calls due to me speeding or doing something stupid. As for the "just an excuse to hassle a biker who did nothing wrong"...the man did a damn wheelie on a rather populated road.. and the cop was cool enough to give him a warning

I've been pulled over twice by two very cool cops, both times only let off with a warning. Neither of them asked me for registration, just my license. The first time I went 3 over the speed limit, passing a cop who was going at least 5 under the speed limit, and he let me off. Second time, I had a passenger, popped a wheelie in one intersection where the cop probably turned on his lights and then I ran a red light because I thought I could make it, but didn't. I didn't see his lights until after I ran the light. I was put in handcuffs for a few minutes and I was respectful the entire time, and he let me off. Luckiest night of my life. I don't ever ride like that normally, just got unlucky.

Its good to see videos giving the other side of encounters with cops....... all too often people post videos giving cops a bad time, but lets be fair....... a small number of cops go overboard or are bad at what they do..... but it paints a bad picture of all cops....... these guys not only were very polite and fair in doing what they did..... the real thing here is simply.... a cop pulls you... pull over quickly and safely and be respectful to them. At the end of the day all too often cops are not just looking to arrest criminals... they have to deal with people that are seriously injured or even found dead because of accidents etc.... then they have to talk to the people of those left behind... its a tough thing to do but comes with the job.... these guys were all quick to stop and were respectful... the cops all showed that in return....
