He took off from a red turn arrow into a another lane with a green straight. Doesn't matter if the driver in front says "go for it". That driver doesn't dictate traffic laws and violations. We aren't afforded special privileges because we ride bikes (unless you count filtering). This whole video was of one rider getting pulled over 4 different times. Two of which for the same thing.

schmid1.0 Totaly agree on that, there has to be some sort of dashcam installed on the car, or any other way to prove stuff like this.
They have dashcams in their cars, legally every police car has to. The only way to obtain the actual camera footage is to go through the sheriffs office, and by that time the video is "Corrupted" or it "wasn't recording". Luckily his gopro was on and you can see the lights reflecting off the street signs when he drives by so he can prove they were on.
It is irrelevant if the cops have cameras or not on their vehicles. Just look how many cases a year that the dash cam "wasn't working' of "the data got corrupted" In situations like this, it is the cops word that is everything. Always.

I have been riding since 13. I have been pulled over twice and i am 22 now. This guy is just very unlucky because cops target bikers. We have "Traffic officers" They cannot arrest you but they can give you a fine.
I've been riding only a few years. Commute 60-80 miles a day, obey the traffic laws and haven't been pulled over.
It surely couldn't be his driving habits... /s
yeah i ride aggressively, but respectfully too...generally, everything i do has zero impact on any other road user, however the level of driving ability here is so so bad, it's easy to 'slip'.
evo I was like you. Avoided accidents no problem and July 8th got hit on my right leg by a drunk driver speeding to overtake the person in his lane so he was in my lane speeding towards me. Broken femur/fibula/tibula. Ride safe.
I would have tested all the lights on camera in front of them and if they wanted to keep writing the ticket tell them i'm taking this video to court.

I have an FCR MX on mine, was one of the first things I put on my DRZ alongside a K&N and a Yoshimura RS4.. you'll find it runs so much better than the standard Mikuni BSR. I had mine set up on a Dyno - took them 8 hours to get the fuelling perfected as they had to keep taking the carb off to change the jets.
The throttle response improves dramatically and it removes the jerkiness from the lower gears. Gave me an added 10bhp.

Austin Texas. The first three were Austin city Police, and the last one was Sheriffs department. Two different departments. The Sheriff is the only that is elected by the people. I believe they actually have more authority than the city or state police, so if the state went tyrannical, the Sheriff could override it.

yeah i got a lawyer and it went to court (it always does). The lights 'issue' was dismissed and the 'traffic control' one i have to pay, but i took defensive driving to dismiss it, still costs a fucking fortune though :/
