He was a black man on a bike. Thats why he records. On top of that he was trying to inform the driver of the red car of an issue and they pull up on him as if he was about to run the light. He dodmt commit a crime, they expected him to commit one and stopped him assuming they would get more than just nothing. That is discrimination. My first time pulled over the kid pulled in front of my 250cc Honda rebel. As if I was gonna run from his charger. Cops like that are stupid and dont deserve a job outside of picking trash up along the road.

This is why when i see a traffic stop go wrong it just makes my day. Some clips ends without giving us the full extent of what happened to the officer and stuff and when i research and see that that officer gets a concussion or flat out dies on the spot it just makes my day. Sometimes the thrill i get from checking if the officer is badly injured or die is just superb.

Those cops rolled up on this dude like he was on the FBI'S most wanted list. I will say though that asking the driver to not use their phone isn't crazy or out of line. It's an officer safety precaution so you can't call your friends to come meet you and interfere with the traffic stop in anyway. Otherwise that stop was way over the top.

Could it possibly be related to the very publicized incident w the range rover family and a group of coincidentally black bikers / a semi biker gang? That coupled with the fact cops openly admit they can’t catch some bikes, why not block somebody in until you make sure they’re cool?
I didn’t see anything ridiculous, they simply checked it out then got him off for a more normal stop. Sorry good bikers, but as long as some like to ride in big groups - well, most do that - but then also take advantage of the numbers to ignore all traffic laws, road rage, etc., with a vehicle that can take off in a place like NYC, I see no issue with taking that precaution. Perhaps *most* bikers don’t run, but it’s clear some do, who also tend to be the more reckless drivers. I only see cops getting stricter on bikes, it’ll keep happening unless the community polices itself, instead of this mob mentality of protecting the people making it worse for all.
Because of that key snatch I rewired my ignition to a hidden 3 way switch. The stock switch is now just a key holder with old useless keys on it, but for the steering lock.

In 4:00 they didnt blip him, turn on there lights and/or safely roll up behind him and instead they have 2 unmarked cruisers roll up in front of the civilian and they had no official reason to pull the civilian over and/or touch any of his property (Keys to the motor vehicle) and give the civilian a proper discussion to let him know not to do it again and give him a warning
