In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, we pray that Joe Rogan becomes a Christian. Amen! … like if you prayed this.
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."
But, yes indeed, praying for Joe!!
Amen! However, asking a heavenly saint to pray for us no more usurps The unique mediatorship of Christ than asking an earthly saint to pray for us.
Why would you ask someone else to pray when you can do it yourself? Keep praying, and good interview and video, but no Mary intercessions
@@GrantR-fv2hjif you are humble enough, you recognize that there people closer to God than you....
That's why even Protestants usually ask their Pastor to pray for them.
@@GrantR-fv2hj Exodus 12:11-13 (KJV): And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.
Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.
And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.
Joe Rogan figured it out by engaging in dialogue with hundreds of people for thousands of hours. You cannot engage in that much dialogue without finding the Logos.
BOOM!!! You nailed it👍👍👍
Matt, you did an AWESOME job interviewing this cultural icon and great intellectual!
intellectual is a strong word
@@blackMamba-nc7eb intellectual is not a strong word AT ALL.
Noam Chompsky, Carl Marx and Richard Dawkins are intelectuals.

Only that Marx is a terrible one.
In fact I like Peterson and I find many of his perspectives fasinating.

Joe Rogan if I'm not mistaken is a Catholic. Which means that for the past years he's been a "Catholic Atheist" (that's a quote from Catholic Atheist, comedian and physicist Dara O'Briain). It's different to being a regular atheist. Wouldn't be at all surprised if JR reverts. That whole Baptism thing. It works :)
Christianity is a faith. Ones belief defines whether they are Christian or not. If you don't believe, you are simply an atheist.
Been praying for JR for years. Pray for everyone you know, everyone you see, everyone you meet.
It seems to not be working so well as 99.8% of all living biological life that has lived on this planet, has now become extinct.
how about just pray for everyone, period
@@jamesperez6785 uhhhhhhhhhh. Wow. Great point.
I really enjoy Dr. Peterson feeling such liberty to express himself in this interview. Thank you.
idk why but i love seeing JBP get angry
Because you know it is truth.
He is not faking it
Love Jordans coat
Jordan is being drawn by the Holy Spirit, digging in his heels all the way. It is hard for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God. God has gifted him so much. What a shame it would be if he cannot bow the knee to the King of Kings. I love this guy and his wife. Praying for an encounter with God to rock his world.
When Jordan says act as though God exists he is not talking about getting rid of his possessions lol
@@adamgates1142 I've seen you reply like 3 different times in this comment section attacking jordan peterson. What's your deal bro?
@brentappenrott1756 He's a fraud and I think that ought to be pointed out.
I think he is pretty much a christian now isnt he.
It's really difficult seeing JP bitter and anguished all the time. More than ever it seems. May he find surrender and find the peace of God to soothe his soul.
I think his brain is just always running at full speed. I can relate. It can be a living hell.
He's been getting increasingly worse since his so-called relationship with God...
That’s a question someone should ask him. “Why are you so angry ?” Then follow up with, “Does God give you peace and joy?”
Its a shame too, because jesus, in all his external suffering and pain, was peaceful and happy. I think that is at the core of the christian story. Whilst JP seems to be the opposite, whixh is a shame
Yeah his patience is low these days
Jesus is Lord!
Very encouraging!
Wow that jacket.

Praying in my Rosary for Joe Rogan to grow closer to our Lord Jesus.
Whats the use of rosary,is that not idolotry, trust Jesus as mediator to God
@@jeddej7884 any bible referance u can give me as to why it is necessary to use rosary?
@@jeddej7884 there is no need for rosary at all,to me it seems like rosary is part of a business for RC to make money they desire all along,as far as i have observed RC lust for money only, and as for laymens they could have still chant and sang Psalms without rosary, the Bible i.e Logos and believe in the works of Jesus is all that we Christians need
No, I've been following Joe Rogan pretty closely. He's not said he's moving towards Christianity. Unless I've missed something.
He said on his podcast with Aaron Rodger’s “We need Jesus”. He isn’t moving towards Christianity, he’s moving towards Christ. There’s a big difference.
Joe Rogan still rejects the basic tenets of the Christian faith and this claim by Peterson just further questions his own claims. Peterson who still rejects the resurrection or at least questions it empirically is why we must continue to pray for him. And while he references Dawkins cultural Christianity this applies as nominal Christianity at best which is Nicolaitan easy believism that excuses his own deterrent to get off the pot. Catholic and Orthodox admit the Christian faith is lifelong it's continual discipline. However, this doesn't defer that such a life does not begin with acknowledging, assenting, and or submitting to notitia (knowledge/doctrine). It's why the apostles penned the creed bearing their title as to what a catechumen believes.
Joining a religion for “community” or for “fear of….” has nothing to do with the validity of Christian assertions.
what about fear of God?
Christ prayed we would one, like he is one with the father. He taught community all the time. Love your neighbor. Is prodestantism one? I think not
This is the mashup we always knew we needed💯✝️
I will say that as enlightening as JP is. This does reveal a weakness in his thinking about what it means to be Christian. Since he can’t really define what it means to be Christian he really does see Joe Rogan as being Christian in some sense. I fear that he thinks if you’re not being a complete material determinist, then you are Christian in some sense. But I think that sets the bar too low.
Jordan is really sharp with his words may god protect him

The great tragedy is that as science marched forward onto new discoveries, the leaders of tradition decided to persecute their Galileos, instead of embrace them. Our traditions gave birth to rationality and the sciences, but they saw them as competition and cast them out into the cold. This folly is what created the war between tradition and science, and it was completely unnecessary. What a shame that so many of these genius minds have spent their whole lives fighting valiantly against tradition, when they should be defenders of it, leaders in the community! Imagine how much better we would be if people like Dawkins fought for us rather than against us? We must put an end to this pointless feud and reconcile the father and the son (tradition and rationality). The family must be whole again.
The alleged persecution of Galileo by the Church is basically an exaggerated legend. Catholic Answers has a good article on it.
It was really some Enlightenment thinkers (most were Christian, but just a few) who felt that new discoveries in science would allow them to erase God from the picture and took aim at the Church who begged to differ. Even though that same Church had given birth to science through its insistence on an ordered reality that God had made discoverable by reason.
The sketch of Christians as anti-science comes mainly from Protestants trying to back stop a rigid and literal interpretation of scripture that one denomination or another happens to depend on. Then, it gets placed on Catholics second-hand.
Also consider some of the greatest discoveries of science that have been made by priests:
-Dominant/recessive inheritance by Fr. Gregor Mendel
-The Big Bang Theory by Fr. Georges LeMaître
This science versus religion debate should have ended before it started, but it's one of the devils favourite lies, and he will keep spreading it. Especially because it inflames our pride to think that we are too smart or too scientific for God. Pride is the worst sin that drives the biggest rift between us and God.
Your point is not only brilliant but thought provoking. Thank you and may God bless you.
Jordan's angry indignant tone gets a little grating. Sure, there's plenty to be angry about in today's world but, come on, dial it back a bit. You're only hurting yourself.
I agree but I do understand why he does that. Part of his role in the world is calling that stuff out.
Can you host a discussion between Mohammed Hijab vs David Wood
I doubt Hijab would dare to do that. He seems quite cowardly in his aproach to debates.
He might as well! There’s nothing outside of God except utter darkness!
None of those guys have “got it” and I’m so surprised at how many Catholics are falling into the trap of thinking that they have. They’re aligning themselves with what they see as an institution that will fight against the same things they hate. This isn’t about their salvation. It’s not about the reality of Christ. It is political and ideological alignment.
Im convinced Jordan P is just preaching the gospel to his atheist/science based following at this point in his own stylistic/freudian way.
no he's a psychologist and that's just genuinely how he interprets the bible
When Joe had Tucker Carlson on recently he wasn't interested in any of Tuckers Christian views on different topics, such as aliens being demons ect. He didn't want to go there every time Tucker went there. I hope he does become a Christian though.
Please. Christianity is a historical religion, Dr Peterson. To pick up the Gospels and read them like you would a mythic text is foolish. The Cross is not the symbolic articulation of the basic social/ethical principle of self-sacrifice. Did the early Christians just fail to realize that the Gospel they were dying for was the narrative expression of basic truths underpinning human coexistence... or do you think St Ignatius of Antioch actually went rejoicing to the Colosseum for *that* ?
@@jeddej7884 I'm honestly not sure what you're getting at. I'm not sure who Saint Augustus is. I happen to think Peterson's Jungian reading of the Gospels fails to do them justice. That's all.
@@jeddej7884 Oh, I'm sure you're far better versed in Church history than I am; but I'm willing to learn. Maybe you could start by enlightening me as to the identity of "Saint Augustus"...

Well said, Dr. Peterson -

I think it's encouraging to hear this from Dr. Peterson. I have a rather cynical take on why he could not outwardly and simply say, "Yes, I believe in God." He had an image to uphold and he thought he would lose his very broad appeal and credibility. I think Russel Brand's public testimony - and even Joe Rogan toying with Christianity - gave him the "green light" to capitulate and actually plant a flag. But, regardless of the reason, again, it's encouraging to see. With all of the darkness and evil overtly rearing its ugly head, and the matter-of-fact satanic and demon-worship of our world's politicians and "elites" (nothing elite about them) can do nothing but turn the good-hearted to God and Christ. These dark times are surely separating the wheat from the chaff.
He was doing the religious lectures and spoke about religion many years before the spotlight was placed on him. I think his recent leaning toward commitment to Christianity comes from his conversations with people such as Jonathan Pageau, Bishop Barron, and his wife
Perhaps you should stop judging his rationales, especially without listening to what he is saying. He has always articulated his belief in God: "to believe is to act as of God exists" and "I try and act as if God exists." That is a better statement of actual belief than those who rely on words. Maybe stop presuming to know some hidden and secret agenda, motivated by fear and a clamoring for attention.
@@benjaminkelble4021 ah, one can't help but see the irony in the implied judgement in your reply. I am not judging. It is an honest assessment - an observation, and I do not think I'm too far off the mark. I am very familiar with his body of work and lectures and his squeamish - yes, squeamish - answers when it comes to God. He has always addressed God as more of a utility, rather than as our divine creator. He is coming around, though, and beginning to acknowledge His actual, real-world presence.
@@jbc242424 It is an honest assessment, yet a cynical take. Calling his answers squeamish is just subjectively snarky. I believe a little more grace is warranted.

The fact that Peterson thinks Joe is a Christian only exposes Peterson’s lack of true understanding of Jesus Christ and salvation. Christianity is not a religion, it’s a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Dawkins: let’s try to find a way to end up in Heaven without all this Jesus business…
Wait, Jordan isn't willing to make a concrete claim about his own position, but he will say outright that Joe Rogan "has a foot in the camp"?? What camp? How does he actually know this? Oh because "sacrifice is the basis of the community"! Huh? He's making less sense each time I hear him talk about religion and belief.
He's a hack. It's time people recognize it.
@@adamgates1142 Dont get ahead of yourself. Calm down.
Hes cautious, because hes fighting with himself. I do see him inching ever so closer to the truth. His wife is a true believer and had a miraculous healing and he witnessed it, which was what brought him to understand Jesus in the first place. It’s black and white good and bad nothing new under the sun strength and fear. No one wants to think or know that there’s nothing new yet it’s the basis of all. We learn from what we’re told by others and make up or pretend it’s not a factor. Scary when free isn’t or never was this. What’s the alternative. Be a what the world makes us yet who we aren’t or care for those we love. Love is the key and the reality of the conversation. Selfless or selfish. Everyone wants whatever. Everyone needs a hug then changes
No, obviously not.
I love this guy but hate those jackets...
It's strange how Jordan Peterson, Gnosticism, Arianism, Islam, New Agers, Mormonism, etc. always appropriates Christ's sublime moral teachings but fall silent on His claims of divinity, the metaphysical reality of heaven, hell, etc. Heretics have been trying to change who Christ is for the past 2,000 years.
Jordan Peterson can easily say he believes in the devil and in hell, but he can't say he believes in God. And he's always talking about snakes. Peterson never missed an opportunity to mention hell or the devil. And he gets Christianity so totally wrong. It's almost like he's some sort of anti Christian or Satanist or even a gnostic or esoteric Hitlerist or something.
I know right, i just read a comment of some guy thats a bi product of it. Of course used the words " fairy tale " when mentioning Heaven. Its sad how little clue they have, and to see the possible great deception at the end of time. A twisting of Christianity that strips everything that make you Christian, which is the belief in Jesus Christ, that he is God. Instead left with the " Christian values " which they present to the world to hyper inflate their own ego, as if they are so righteous, yet they have no spirit so they cant even follow nor have the desire for those values.
Its the next shiny thing, the same thing as the new age satanic Christ consciousness movement. Its impossible to speak to those people because they just completely missed it. Its sad.
Although i do have a feeling Jordan is coming to the faith truly, he has experienced a miracle with his wifes sickness because she is a true believer. But i have yet to hear him proclaim his faith in that Jesus truly rose again from the dead.

Even Jordan refuses to admit whether he preaches from a Catholic or a Protestant bible ... and we should all know that a Catholic and a Protestant do NOT believe that their "souls" will be allowed in heaven together.
When it pertains to which bible he preaches from ... Jordan is a professional "dodger."
He squirms and talks his way around the subject every time he's "put on the spot."
And now that Tammy has become a died in the wool Catholic ... that makes Jordan squirm even more.
If he says he's a Catholic ... he might lost all of his Evangelical idolizers. And THAT is a lot to lose.
But its no one's business what his faith or denomination is - that is between JP and God. JP doesn't have to announce to any of us what his beliefs are.
His salvation is to work out between himself and God
@@danielletracyann What makes you so certain that there IS a god?
He sees Christianity as an allegory that is useful for a good life. That doesn’t make him a Christian.
No! lol... JP nor Rogan are becoming real christians. Believing in the usefulness of some parts of the bible is not the same as believing that Yahweh is real/god, which he/it isn't.
A lot of people who grew up knowing nothing but this degenerate society came to the realization that this is not normal and thus they could not help but look back & see where society went astray. They rightly ascribe that a large part of that degeneracy is because of the loss of faith.

"cultural christian" its called. You dont need to believe in the fairy-tale parts like heaven and such. Just take it for the moral fictional tale that it is and apply it to your life. There are other paths to understanding than Christianity, but Christianity does a good enough job for most. Some people are too arrogant to see this and insist on the truth claims. Organized religion is the true lucifarian arrogance of the intellect.
Well Jesus instructs us to form some kind of organized religion. You can’t say the same guy who teaches good stuff, applicable to your life, also teaches hellish arrogance
@@tobithiele2673 No you can take the good moral things in the bible while still understand it has bad things and contradictions. Understanding that it was right about a lot of things and wrong about other things is the path to escaping dogma. Not thinking in black and white is important. Things are rarely, if ever, solely good or bad.
@@Wildminecraftwolf I agree with you on the last bit. I guess what I’m trying to say is that you can take the good and leave the bad in case of for example a drunk father who beats his son but still shows him how to fish. But in my opinion you can’t do this move with Jesus. His teachings and persona is are much more extreme. I think I can’t wrap my head around the notion that a guy who teaches the most transcendental truths about humankind, who talks and acts like the wisest and best of his generation somehow plainly lies in sometimes or goes insane here and there. It’s the trilemma of CS Lewis I can’t understand.
@@tobithiele2673 I understand why it may be difficult to not elevate a figure like Jesus to being "perfect" given the fact that its explicitly stated in the bible that he is and also a lot of his teachings point to "transcendental truths", but i feel that this was not an anomaly on the scale you posit.
Reading into other religions and belif systems, you will find many of these transcendental truths that we think come from jesus, were actualy well known before him, but just scattered around among the falsities that characterize many of the pagan religion.
Once you understand this you can aknowlage that these truths can be arrived apon by anyone by themselves, and have numerous times independently throughout history, jesus was merely a wise man who understood alot of them, but was not perfect. Alot of his flaws or incorrect teachings would have been edited out by the thousands of years of revision by other thinkers thrughout the construction of the biblical corupus.

Jesus is a fairly minor figure in their pantheon.
@@kenofken9458 I’m not sure what you mean by pantheon, but I’m likely further “right” than anyone you’ve ever met. If anyone’s a Christian, the central point that person understands is there’s no hope at all for anyone without Jesus. The great commission Jesus gave His church before He returned to heaven was to make disciples of every nation. Any Christian that is obedient to God (which should be all of them) takes that commission seriously.
@@NobodyAtAll56 The problem as I experience it as a non-Christian is that so many of you don't see the commission as an impetus to invite people to your faith but as a justification to try to bully them into it.
@@kenofken9458 I wonder if you’re not conflating a few different things. I’m assuming you either take issue with missionaries and street preachers bringing the word of God into places where it is not welcome (the places it is most necessary to be brought), or otherwise you would prefer that society be organized around a secular conception of ethics, rather than a Christian one, am I correct?
Has Jordan fallen for the propaganda that the student protests are pro-Hamas, rather than pro-Palestinians? Clearly his camp is keeping him brainwashed. Time passing had thought maybe I was wrong that he's an intelligent ideologue, but being so knee-jerk reaction emotional to drop-parrot such a propaganda talking point makes me realize he's still driving towards hell; "give 'em hell."
He has bosses. Which is bloody sad on the dialectic scale buddy!
Look what happened to Candace Owens for having a different opinion.
@@hansblitz7770 I see it as Jordan is loaded with fear - fear that drives him, that he doesn't even realize he's driven by. His body intuitively knows the situation he's in - hence the knee-jerk fear reactions - but his mind hasn't caught up to the understanding that he's in the snake pit, swimming with the sharks, in the dragon's lair, etc. So in a way it's an automatic unconscious self-defense mechanism - he keeps his mind busy and away from the scariest possibility that he's actually aligned with evil; ironically he can apply this logic to situations like with Justin Trudeau, stating how he can understand how most Canadians wouldn't believe that Trudeau is a fascist - because that's far easier to not believe than that Trudeau isn't actually responsible for the plans that have unfolded over the last few years - towards more authoritarian policy, trying to disarm the population (of guns), etc; but he can't seem to apply that logic to himself and his current circumstances.

The ones who would not have been Christians would have been Jesus and his Mother Mary.
Rather than fictitious characters meant to start a new religion foreign to and extremely offensive to Judaism ... had Jesus and his mother Mary been real ... they would have been faithful ONLY to Judaism.
Maimonides was a Jewish Rabbi who lived in the Middle-ages and because he told the Jews what they wanted to hear … he was extremely popular. And he was right … that if Jesus gave up on preaching Judaism as his one and only truth … which was his birth-right … to in turn preach ANY Christian doctrine … Jesus WOULD have been a heretic and OF COURSE hated by the Jews.
Just as the Catholic popes wanted the Jews and Protestants to be put to death for heresy … the Jews wanted Jesus to be put to death for heresy against them.
I agree with the words of the now-dead Christopher Hitchens … “Religion poisons everything.”
From the book … god is not GREAT … How Religion Poisons Everything … Christopher Hitchens.
Maimonides described the punishment of the detestable Nazarene heretic as one of the greatest achievements of the Jewish elders, insisted that the name Jesus never be mentioned except when accompanied by a curse, and announced that his punishment was to be boiled in excrement for all entity. What a good Catholic Maimonides would have made!
I uh…will patiently point out that the jews well….DID put Jesus to death for the crimes of heresy because of what he preached.
@@thesaltyadept7104 That is the STORY that Christian theologians told, so that followers of Christianity would want to kill the Jews ... for killing Jesus ... THEIR PERSONAL CHRISTIAN SAVIOR.
The truth would have been that Jesus would NEVER have left Judaism ... because religious Jews stay faithful to Judaism ... just as Catholic popes stay faithful to Catholicism.
And had Mother Mary existed ... she would have been HORRIFIED at the story that she willingly became a Catholic saint.

You do realize that Jesus did not preach against Judaism, Jesus fulfilled the Law, so much so that he fulfilled the prophecy that the Jews knew by heart, of the coming of the messiah, but they misunderstood ( some did ) what the messiah was supposed to do, they knew there would be two comings/two messiahs, they misunderstood it to be two messiahs rather then one messiah and two comings. SO they expected the first messiah to be a political ruler, to free them from rome. Instead there is ONE Messiah, GOD, who came to his own people to free them from SIN. They rejected Him and killed Him. The SECOND time He comes, He WILL be a King ruling and reigning.
Please dont speak on the topic when you clearly have no idea what youre talking about. Christianity is what Judaism was supposed to be, it is the greater, the Law was a shadow of things to come, which is Jesus, Mercy and Grace.
Thankfully since the first coming, MANY Jews realized the truth and came to our Lord our God. And realized the mistake they made.
@@vladgor4099 It was Christians that wrote that Jesus was born PERFECT to a family of Jews that were faithful to Judaism.
If Jesus later in life became a heretic to the Jews, of course the Jews would have killed him for either joining or starting the Catholic religion.
If the pope had joined the Protestant religion ... other Catholics would have killed him as a heretic also.
Protestants killed each other for believing that other Protestant religion were evil and of the devil.
People only favor their own religions ... and that is what makes religion so poisonous concerning any semblance of world peace.
@@vladgor4099 I've had Catholics and Protestants tell me that Jesus came to earth to preach Christianity in order to "complete" Judaism.
How ignorant.
It would be comparable to telling a pope that he needed the Protestant religion to "complete" Catholicism.
Lies and more lies ... in the guise of "truth."
Jordan is so unhinged is sad
Jesus likely wanted to be King and thought God would kick out the romans. Judas betrayed this secret which got Jesus executed. (Bart Ehrman) Very different than the "Christ story".
The sky is red. Cows have gills. See? I can make nonsensical statements too!
@@waffleman1299 Sure, if you believe well-respected experts on thr manner are spouting "bs" statements
Sure. If you think the conclusions of well-respected experts on the matter is a non-sensical statement.
The "Bart" story might explain Judas' actions, but runs contrary to everything Christ taught. And why would the apostles go their deaths for a dead man who (according to Bart) had let them down? All of them except John were martyred.
@@johnupperton3211 You mean Jesus. "Christ" is something that happened after his death. And we actually have no evidence of what happened to the disciples
