    Is there any 3D model that shows how the eclips goes from west to east? I still think it's impossible!
    Also here.. they show te moon going faster then earth.. it takes 27 for the moon to orbit earth.. not less then a day.

    Does anyone have a problem with the fact the against is moving from West to East, when the Earth and moon also move West to East, and the Earth is spinning at 1000 miles per hour? It makes no sense!

    • @ochentaycincoalbricias
      @ochentaycincoalbricias 7 лет назад

      Immune2BS The moon moves from West to East because the rotation of the Earth is faster than the speed at which the moon orbits around it

    Am I the only one that finds it so unusual that the moon just happens to be exactly the same size as the sun when viewed from the Earth? is that a common astronomical thing? Am I misunderstanding how that works? The moon will appear to be the perfect, exact size to cover the sun from exactly edge to edge, correct?

    • @christrull7081
      @christrull7081 7 лет назад

      You're not the only one that thinks it's interesting it's very it's a very distinct coincidence because if this was not the case it would actually mean that the sun and the moon are possibly a lot more relative in size that would be another explanation wouldn't it? It's almost like someone designed it to work out that way that would be a grand design wouldn't it and it's almost like a sign

    • @cchipotlewdw1726

      WallyWinka it's like an illusion, because we're far away from both moon and sun.

    • @enddayz6506
      @enddayz6506 7 лет назад

      WallyWinka the moon is closer to the earth than the sun so when they align, being that sun is farther away they appear to be the same size

    It is very interesting that the sun is exactly 400 times larger and also 400 times the distance away speaking of the distance of the Moon from the earth and the size... very coincidental that's a very large coincidence isn't it?

    • @Vector_Ze
      @Vector_Ze 7 лет назад +1

      That depends on which measurement you're going by ... diameter, surface area, mass, volume ...
      We must assume he was going by diameter or radius, especially since this measurement is the ONLY one relevant in this discussion (other than distances).
      1,391,400 Km / 3474 Km = 400.5 ... pretty dang close to 400, wouldn't you say?
      Some things are NOT a matter of opinion. There are actual facts.

    • @joseperalta6235
      @joseperalta6235 7 лет назад

      That's why every time i have this conversation I include the word "diameter". By volume the proportion would be 400^3 or 36'000,000 bigger.
