I have a 2021 Ranger XLT FX4 Cactus Gray supercab. So are those 33's you're running? Waiting to wear out my factory tires, but want to put 33s on. I've got the OME full suspension, Expedition One dual swing rear bumper, Shrockworks rock sliders and winch mount, Badland 12000 lb winch, rough country ditch lights, Snugtop in Cactus with a 24" lift system. Currently designing the kitchen drawers and canvas sides to make it a nice camper that will fit in the garage. Nice looking truck, I like your build. Great trucks. Can't wait to get mine out and start exploring. Would like to put the long range fuel tank on, but it's pricey. Would be nice to keep that weight down low though and really give an incredible range. Hey if you're interested in the FX4 suspension let me know. I think I had about 3-4000 miles on it when I put the OME system on. So front and rear shocks and rear leaf springs. I believe it's Fox but I'd have to look. Cheers Scott
Hello Scott! The tires are not true 33's, but close. The size is 285/70/17. Once these are retired, I will upgrade to 35's most likely. The Expedition One duel swing out bumper is awesome, definitely one of my Wishlist items. Along w/ a winch. Does the FX4 suspension have a lift on them? I've been looking at suspension upgrades, but they're expensive. Your truck sounds awesome. The Rangers are very capable and reliable vehicles. I've been extremely impressed with its ability off-road. Don't wait too long to get out there!
I am looking at those same headlights for my Ranger. You said they were only a 4/10 but would you say that's better or worse than the factory XLT halogen bulbs? Im perfectly happy with the performance of the stock XLT hologen lights on my truck but I want the led strip turn signals mainly for a cosmetic upgrade. Thanks for the help!
The projector low-beams aren't good at lighting up the road, even with LED bulbs. Factory lights are better. I might try to tinker with the bulbs to see if I can fix it at some point. I also like the look of the LED strip, especially when the turn signal is on. Unfortunately, there aren't many aftermarket options for Ranger headlights. Hope this helped and thank you for the comment!
Nice truck! When installing the Prinsu rack, was it necessary to remove the headliner inside the truck? I think that's the case for 4Runners but not sure if it's necessary for all vehicles. Thanks.
Thank you! And no, you don’t need to remove the headliner completely. You need to only remove the headliner around the A Pillar where the airbags are. There are bolts in there that you have to unscrew to release the weatherstripping on the roof. The headliner should snap right back into place when you’re done. There are some good videos out there explaining the install. Just make sure to turn your battery when you work around the airbags. Hoped this helped!
Nice build man I went with heretic lighting with my ditch lights and fogs if you want that true amber they look great on my ranger and work amazing, I’m looking into roof racks and the rack you have looks great I’ll have to look into that one 🤙
Thank you! I've heard good things about Heretic so I might check them out. I'm going to do a review on the Prinsu roof rack soon hopefully this month. There is one key issue that I found with the install that is easily fixed with the right tool (the way they have you install the rivet nuts is not good imo). So, I'll do a video on what to use. Other than that small issue, I definitely recommend it!
Thank you! I believe they discontinued the exact model I purchased a few years ago. If you search "Ford Ranger Raptor Grill" in Google, you'll get plenty of similar options. I'd say check the description before you buy anything to make sure it's what you want. Hoped this helped!
It is +0mm, so no offset! I did switch out the OEM crash bars to the BDS Suspension Intrusion Beams. I didn't want to completely get rid of the crash bars, so this was the best solution. With the 3" level in front, there is no rubbing at all! Hope this helped.
They are the factory OEM running boards. They have been beaten up pretty good on the trails and haven't been damaged. I will get actual rock sliders at some point
Thank you! It rides amazing in my opinion. Road travel is very smooth and not loud at all. Off-road has been great especially when you deflate the tires. Hope this helped and good luck with your FX4! (I wish mine was FX4 lol)
@@OverlandingCactus it does thanks man. And you should look into the back the byway even at the red river gorge. If you haven’t already heard about it. It’s a lot of fun.

@@OverlandingCactus Thanks man!
Absolutely! Let me know if you have any other questions! @@od628
Awesome ride man! Do you have spacers? Or is the wider stance from the new wheels?
Thank you! No spacers, just the new wheels.
I like the rims, I’d be worried about those hubs popping off on the trail or the highway
Had these wheels for over a year. The hubs have never came off! It takes a good amount of force to pull them off when cleaning.
@@OverlandingCactus thanks for the reply 😊🙏

What offset are your wheels? You can fit 285 70 17 with just a 3" lift or did you have to cut things?
