hello guy , it s forbiden to land with the ATHR on !!!!!!!!! please to desengage the ATHR at about 1500 fts like we do in real life .
When we do autoland cat 3 A or B , we desengage the ATHR before landind .
If you are not able to manage your speed from 1500 fts to landing , please to stop using a flight simulator .
You teach the persons who look your video to let ATHR engage until the landind .
    It s false .
    A real 777-300 Flight captain .

@@poirierjp6874 you do realise that it is recommended by Boeing themselves to airlines to use Autothrottle while landing even with autopilot off go search it up, I would expect a Boeing 777 captain to know this. Also there are many airlines that make it compulsory for you to keep it on while landing for 777, I do know Lufthansa, Aerologic require you to disconnect the autothrottle while landing, but to say it's forbidden to land with the autothrottle on and to say to stop me from using flight sim is absolutely stupid. I have no idea what swiss SOP states regarding autothrottle but I try to keep my flights as realistic as possible for example If I fly the german airlines ill disconnect autothrottle if I fly an airline which I know doesn't disconnect the autothrottle then I won't disconnect it and if fly an airline which I don't know their SOP on autothrottle then I just keep it on as that's what most airlines do and that's what's recommended by Boeing.

your answer is fully false sir .

i m a real air france B 777 captain and it s written that it s forbidden to land with ATHR On on the Manex of the aircraft .
It s dangerous to do it because if you have to go-aroud , the delay to use the TOGA switch and the engines toga order will need 10 seconds .
when you manage speed by hands the full power will only need 2 seconds .
the difference of 8 seconds can be too important and crash and kill particulary by bad wheather .
you think knowing many things but you really know nothing on using a B 777 .
i see so much false simulator pilots that i think you are all dangerous .
please to read the the real B 777 Manex before publishing videos on internet .
please to do new videos and land with the ATHR off since 1500 fts .
If you are able to do it , perhaps i will tell you that you are a good flight simulator pilot .
Actually , you just search to have many persons who follow you .
      see you

Here you go 2 air france 777 cockpit landing videos and both of them are using autothrottle i can find more if you like? I have no idea which fantasy air france you are working for but clearly they are using autothrottle. Also why should I take advice from you when I have spoken to real 777 pilots saying they use autothrottle and I don't see any reason they have to lie to me so I definitely won't take your advice if you don't like then just don't watch my video but I'm trying to be accurate so I will stick to how I am currently doing it
      Thank you Bye

@@poirierjp6874 Maybe it would be better to quti the "job" . I don't know in wich wolrd you living in, but to tell someone to stop using flightsim is a bit childish.
