I thought it be interesting. Her personality is meant to contrast past field team leaders. She's less jokey in casual situations. And will often only ever speak unless its necessary to the mission. Not to say she won't "ever" quip just that she's not MCU making light of everything. And while writing the Pilot script I had the thought that she's a good solider in a time where they don't need soldiers.
@@Mord12gp Well, it's not *just* that the character is uninteresting but that his character is being used another attempt to further the idea that other-worldings, i.e. aliens, came modify or enhance humanity to being what we are now. Plus the fact that I don't like the character. I do not believe this world has been occupied 10,000+ years, what with the problems we have as a species, but it's been for less of a time period. We have digressed (not improved as some choose to believe) in our human nature & mental abilities, our height & strength, and looks. We have become fragile and decrepit as a whole.
I can't remember the lore that says if you can or can't. The idea behind Nexus is that they will be experimenting, maybe even making an Earth manufactured gate. They are messing around with the gate network which would lead into more issues.

But I also remember the episode were the rouge NID agents jump into the stargate to escape. I assumed you could have multiple gates its just not necessary. I was thinking with the new stargate network the programmers would shift gate signatures and alter how it works. In my head the Nexus Facility would have four or five gates, each gate would be locked into a certain part of the galaxy like a north, south, east, west quadrant. The west gate couldn't travel to anywhere in the south quadrant and so on, and gates in those quadrants could only travel to their corresponding gates. In emergency's it would be possible to have certain gates work for other gates. N!'s job is to shut down certain gates, thus creating a prearranged path that could be buffered and controlled. You would have to travel from world "A" to get to world "B"
I thought that too. Because one gate will always supersede others in it's vicinity, unless brand new gates are made with the function to do this could it work. We know from Ba'al, making a program or virus that activates multiple gates at once so maybe a program can do it. I think it is possible with a gate with newer programming to allow it. Would mean many worlds could travel to a mid-way point at the same time or whilst another gate is active otherwise the planet would have one gate with set times/timetable. Each world would need a subspace network for set times that line up around each planets clock based on where their gate is. Having this removes the need of ships. I think another midway station between Pegasus would be good too, though with stealth applied to it so Wraith can't see/detect it. Possibly on a satellite with an artificial habitat mimicking a habitable world so there's accommodation between traveling between galaxies. If there's a quarantine timeframe, might as well make it comfortable.

That is a brilliant show idea. I sure hope that Stargate comes back, because I sure loved it. My favorite was SG-Universe. I don't know why the show was cancelled after 2 seasons.
I watched SG 1 SG Atlantis they both was great because they want fun common sense an was real an your always wanted to know what coming next week.. yes some story was lame or boring but that was only 3% of the time. SG 1 lasted 10 years I think an SG Atlantis I think was 7 years but both are Great. Now this New one SG Nexus well if it does it's home work an understanding of both SG Atlantis&SG 1 series an following them but so many years later but if it new an it makes u wanting more then it might last 15 to 20 years but if become WOKE it will crash an burn dawn in two years that's just being nice. Both series SG 1 An SG Atlantis both had bad Ending but I put that away an when I get the chance I watch them both over an over again because they was that damned good. So if This New SG Nexus series want to even come close to the original then don't screw it up you might have something that will blow away those two original but we see I watch it whenever it comes out with everything going on the real world be nice to watch something not real but wishes I can get out of my real life for the hour every week to make me want stay alive in this real world ever week. So we will see what the future comes fir the SG Nexus.
Also, I'd cut down the Team. Too many people to keep track of. Make it two people (or so) and they slowly have to add others and convince them to join. If you have 6 people, man, that's a lot of people for the Audience to grow to know, understand them, know their strengths & weaknesses, etc. Make it simple from the start.
Amanda and Maxwell are Joe's pick for the N1, he would leave any team adjustment up to Amanda. Other teams would come later. N1's job is to survey planets and determine if the Stargate on that world is suitable for decommissioning from the Stargate Network. If the Stargate is in use they'd leave it be, if not they would mark the Stargate for decommissioning. This way we can still travel through the gate and things could happen.
As someone once advised me, there's such a thing as making your characters too special. You got Wraith, Goa'uld, someone from a higher plane. One of these would be an interesting character to explore, but having three just makes this too special, too weird even for the Stargate universe. Even Todd was not a full ally. If Mesh didn't like how the Goa'uld were living why did he not ally with the Tok'ra who also don't use unnatural means to stay alive I would suggest dropping those two (Maybe for later seasons?) and keeping with the idea of a higher being that originated in the higher plane and is separate from the Ascended Ancients. That's an intriguing idea that could open more avenues to explore the complexities of the Ancient's mortal existence. Maybe discovering of the higher plane or a being from there is why they no longer were interested in going onboard the Destiny? Maybe it led to philosophical debates about intruding on another race's reality if they ever were able to ascend. We know some ancients explored ways to artificially ascend, maybe they were more antagonistic to the Fay? How did they even discover they could ascend into that plane of existence? And last thought, maybe change Oberon to a different name. It's too similar to Oberoth from the Asuras. Still much better than anything I can do, keep it up!
I see where your coming from. Lilith is like a season 2 character, but Gligamesh I gotta keep. Mesh didn't really have a problem with the others he just thought they were going crazy overboard., and he didn't want to become like that. He's still a Gould, while he's more sympathetic then most. He's not going to challenge the system that had been put in place, he was apart of that system. He was essentially a "good slave owner". he only cares about himself and those he came to care for however they might be at any given time. As for the character of Puck and the Fay. I thought of Puck being like Stargate's version of Q. This powerful trickster. What do you think of him being the reason for why those characters in Universe found that planet randomly. He was following them and made it out of pity or is that too much. As for the other Fay. I'd like to keep it simple. The Fay just don't like going to the mortal plan, its just not where they are from. Puck and Oberon were just weirdo's who enjoyed playing (what the Fay might consider to be) with ants. That would open up other issues like "why didn't the others just come and Oberon after he got stuck? " Its a work in progress

After watching and thinking, I disagree "a little" with your premise. Why not make it "semi-known" and not "public"? Say, like only the top people that need to know will know about SG's. But, that this Team is trying to make the travel safer for elites and privileged individuals to travel the gate system. Then, you also have the requirement to keep everything secret, and then that could lead to some real fun show offerings where they have to stop people from making it public. Also, maybe, other countries want to get in on the action, so they have to stop rogue nations from building their own gates or from hacking into our new NG gate system. Also, maybe, even have a new gate created that can go further, but maybe it has a cool-down period where they can't come back for a few days. Then, they're stuck somewhere without support, or maybe, it blows the fuses of the gates that they go to. Then, the Team has to be off-link and alone to fight things out, and has to wait for 48 or 72 hours for reinforcements. For me, those are some ideas that I'd add to your plan, but making it public too soon, really ruins the possibilities of the show.
I like the idea about them "making New Gates" in me head the Nexus Facility is also a site for human made gate tech. The humans have serval gates on one planet so they had to mess with the active gate network to get it to work. I like the idea of them experimenting with two-way gate travel . As for the stargate-public situation. The public wouldn't know "Everything" the government won't tell people about how the Gould almost blew up the stargate one time, at least not for another few decades. And like in real life only wealthy influential people would be able to travel through the Stargate. Another idea I have is about a religious group trying to set up a colony on another planet and then something happens. A feel like regular people knowing brings in so many potential stories. Political back door deals as different Earth governments make alliances with off-worlder factions. What happens when one off-world faction goes to war with another and America is friendly with one faction and China with the other?
Also, not sure that I like Lithinn. Don't know what she adds to the team. And, she's older so not a very attractive member of team, and would be hard to find old person who can do stuntwork.
Well she's meant to look younger, In all honesty I haven't completely got a grasp on her story, only that she lost a war to another hive queen and was hated enough that she knew they would hunt her for years. Liltih is supposed to be clever. She cares more about her safety then anything else and she felt being around the Earth humans would ensure that safety. Her joining the team is meant represent a kind of paradigm shift in the politics of the story. Old enemies can become allies. Honestly it makes for sense for the Wraith to be more friendly with the humans. Gligemsh is supposed to be an outlier in his species so unless he can make more of himself he's the only Gould that will ever be ":truly" a friend to humanity. The Wraiths only thing is that they eat people. If they have something other then humans to eat they stop really being an issue. There would still be other issues. I love the feed back.
Well the First Good Point you have got more gates to get to other Aeras of space , a Little Bit Disapointed although NOT Suprised that Normal People know about the Stargate Program , I Warned You that i was bad making New Ideas Very Sorry ;
No, it's bad if show opens up with people knowing. Better if they don't know, and they fear that "Secrets" will leak out. That's better way to have it, and you could even have to track down who is leaking the secret. Or, a show on someone stealing plans. Etc. Even have it like a Spy Show some nights.

A planet with multiple concurrently functioning stargates? That’s quite impossible according to canon…
