I am sure there are more, but at that point I may as well type out the full song. Point is until you showed up he was completely alone and without any hope, not even knowing the condition of the park. But you go in, listening to him, exploring the park despite its poor condition; you have given him hope and a possible friend. He really doesn't want you, the player, to leave but is too damn nice to even ask you to; so instead he pleads for you to come back another time.
it most certainly had to go hard, don’t underestimate the powers of the first free chapter, it’s the hook that reels in the people for more
I dont know how they made Rambley so likeable, but i am completely convinced this bunch of pixels deserves the world.
IMO, it’s a combination of endearing animations and brilliant voice acting.
And the cute song in the credits.
Personally, I liked that devs went for an actual "amusement park" theme. Not something pretending to be cute - like Poppy Playtime, but a rather normal park where something went really wrong. On the other hand... what the hell was that bird? Were those mascots some genetically engineered creatures, who were left here and eventually went feral? Their initial stalking behaviour looks quite animalistic. Like a predator finding something new in their domain...
considering the blood i can only assume so.
There's a item you can find that triggers playback of a recording at the information kiosk. It's a couple of employees talking about "new mascots" maybe putting them out of a job. (From which, I would guess that they worked as costumed mascots in the park.)
right? at first I thought "oh god they just left wild animals loose in the amusement park" then we saw the bird monstrosity and that theory went out the window. There's going to be a fun conspiracy unraveled as the game is released.

Free to play Indie looking tons more impressive than some of the AAA $70+ games we've been seeing lately. Goes to show that the amount of money put into a game is not what makes them good. First few minutes and I'm absolutely impressed and in love how this game looks way too good for what it should be.

Rambley talking normally, like genuinely normal is awesome. There is always a "ominous for no reason" vibe to the guides in these games like Poppy and the fact Rambley didnt have that makes me way more into his vibe.
feels a lot more aligned towards Wheatley from Portal2, who I also vibe with way more. It also makes the character feel more dimensional
Even though the mechanics are similar to other mascot horrors, this one is soooo charming!! The character designs are really good and look like they were actually intended for children. Rambley's animations and voice acting are so well done too!
Right? I have a hard time getting into mascot horrors sometimes because the back of my brain is always like 'Sure, but there's no way children ever found these things anything but horrifying."

That said I would love to meet whatever smooth brain decision maker it was at Indigo park in universe who decided that the 'new' mascots were going to be kid friendly....... because god damn they would be terrifying even without the blood and the crazy behavior.

So did anyone else notice when he said "let me get a good look at you" at 3:52 the camera on the computer actually turned on then back off? It's the small details that make games so good!
Goes to show that smart dialogue can carry a game. Don't get me wrong, the environment and game design is really well done too but Rambley is such a lovable mascot and the impromptu changes he makes to his script based on the surroundings is really fun!
The fact that the first episode of this game was FREE is SO impressive. I cannot wait to see more, the animations were so cute, the ending credit song was so good! They did an amazing job!

Idk how to explain it but this game has style - the overall artistic sense of the game is good (with the characters taking center stage), but the simple fact that they are these designs speaks to the creator and the team understanding their vision 100%! The opening, the merch in game and such all speak to the care put in. Looking forward to the next installments! The VAs are also fantastic 👏
Something I love about Gab's horror game videos is her reactions. The guys I watch who play horror games have some of the most over-the-top reactions to scares. Which is entertaining as well. But I love when something scary happens in Gab's games and she's just like "oh! 😮 that was scary!"

I don't read maliciousness from Rambly just loneliness and a pre-programmed duty. I really hope the devs keep it that way.

this has been one of the most enjoyable indie mascot horror games to come out in a while, I love the characters and I hope the dev gets the support to make more chapters!
This is so reminiscent of Disney parks I can only assume some of the creators are former Disney cast members or are huge Disney fans. From the opening speech, the wristbands, a “main street”, and down to those trash cans being everywhere!
I bet they’ve been influenced by a ton of things including Disney. The stage scene was similar to the killing icon of FNaF, the type of running away sequence exploded with Chapter 1 of Poppy’s Playtime, etc etc. I like that they made it a theme park and it feels sort of like Security Breach but the self-aware, real-time Rambley AI is awesome and there’s so much solid foundation in all these genres and influences mixed together in this game!!
To be fair, most amusement parks now have those features and you don’t have to be a cast member or a disney superfan to be familiar with them lol, it’s sufficient to visit the park once
Right down to the entrance of the train ride being in the area you cross to get into Main Street and the giant ferris wheel. The area where you first see the ferris wheel looks almost exactly like the entrance to California adventure! It feels like the devs grew up going to these parks
Those exact grey/purple trashcans, that ride being exactly Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
@@dinonuggets-vl7msI think they mean that they specifically chose the iconic grey/white and purple Disney trashcans (they even sell ornaments of them, they’re so ubiquitously Disney) and using nearly Walt’s identical speech from the opening of Disneyland and just changing a couple words, or the fact the railway ride is identical and works the same exact way, with the same “conductor train” that opens, and the same art and scenes, as Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Yes yes, all theme parks have entry streets. But these details were specifically pulled from Disney parks

Dude…. WHAT!?! This was INCREDIBLE! The looks, the feel, the sounds, the character design and voice… and the CREDITS? That song was SO good! Do you know how hard it is to write such a catchy and greatly worded songs like that? Wow wow WOW! I’m mind blown! 🤯

How absolutely special this already is geared up to be. I like this more than Poppy Playtime.
20:56 so basically he jumped out to grab you and knocked into that big box and it fell. He barely avoided being squished because of the other boxes in the way. When he realized he couldn't reach you he crawled back to the other side.
Looks like Chapter 2 is scheduled for December of 2025 ;-; The waiting on all these great indie games to see the entire story is torture

At 20:33 gab missed a really cool jump scare by Lloyd when she looked at her phone. You can just see his claw retract back and it’s still super creepy but sad she missed the whole jump scare
First off, I love Rambley and I would kill for him. Second, I swear to god they put more effort into that AMAZING (I could have cried it was so cute) song at the end than most AAA game studios put into their entire $80 games.
Ok I’m not far into the vid but I love rambley so far. He has a lot of really fun animations and lines. And the game has a lot of character so far. It looks like there’s a lot of effort put into this. And I don’t mind that it’s another mascot horror. I hope the vibes stay good!

The game was good but the song at the end was really the very best!The lion and the bird were scary!I thought that he sounded like Jack when he says,"I like trains!" The slides and ball part reminded me of the Kingdom Hearts Toy Story section.

Wow this was really impressive! As an animation major, I'm in love with the style of the characters especially Rambley. His animation is so full of life and looks like an actual kids cartoon or themepark character. I can't wait to see more from this world
It’s good first start for an indi developer and the music is super cute!!❤ I really hope the next installment improves on the first! And can’t beat a game that caters to the loot goblin in us!!😂

My theory on the mascots:
Probably mutated animals that were given larger bodies, capacity for human speech, and intellect to serve the park's purposes. But after being continuously abused by staff and discarded along with the rest of the park when it closed down, they've basically pulled a zootopia with more aggression
I love games that you can kinda assume what’s going to happen but you still get spooked because of how amazing the production of the tension is. Like the lion scene in the theatre

this is one of the rare mascot horrors I've enjoyed recently. it doesn't feel like a lazy cash grab, and you can feel the love and passion that went into it
the way what we thought was a recording of Rambley, only for it to soon after interact with us directly, was really unsettling.
This looks really good so far. I like Rambley and his animations are really cute (even tho he's probably going to turn sinister if not out right evil at some point 😂)

Such a specific detail but shoutout to the 2D Animator that animated Rambley like holy shit!! They did not have to actually animate and lipsync so much of his performance throughout the game but It’s just so well done and make the game so much more memorable and alive. Just amazing work overall!
I KNEW IT!!! I remember seeing the dev’s TikTok video about this and they asked about who they should give a callout to play their game and I knew you’d absolutely play this and said as such. My prayers have been answered❤❤❤
Indigo park is amazing, all the team did so awesome with this game! Also Chapter 2 has a kickstarter that’s already at its goal! I’m so excited for more of this game and its characters
To be honest, when I saw this was a mascot horror game my expectations were super low (thanks Garten of Banban). This is soooo much better than I expected! The game looks really polished, the animations are good (especially on Rambley), the acting is amazing... I really hope there's a bit more work in mechanics and gameplay on the next couple chapters, though it is after all a walking simulator, but still, there's a lot of work put into this game and it shows.
The animations for Rambley are insane! When he talks about the “renovations” it looked better than a lot of modern animated films. This is so well done!
This was fun. I noticed at the beginning there was a camera that was following you right in the entrance by the statue before you went inside the park. Made me paranoid for the rest of the game 😂

I love how lloid acts like an actual lion. He prowls and stalks and only really attacks when you’re distracted or you have zero clue where he is.

I personally am not a fan of mascot horror 99% of the time because many games feel a little derivative or aimless. But Indigo Park seems like the one I will finally be really into! The character designs are fun and very well developed, Rambley is cute and engaging, and while the gameplay is inspired by the genre it still feels anchored to motivation and like you're working towards a goal. I also felt like the devs were a little inspired by Portal with the end song, which was really cute and made me want another episode soon! The dev team knocked this one out of the (theme) park!

My god what a cool game!!!!! Love the mechanism so much, eventho we've seen a "theme park turned heinous" idea before but this one feels so intimate and real for some reason, like we've visited the park and truly experience it. I really hope Rambley will be our friend till the end, no crazy agenda whatsoever because his whole speech apologizing about the park felt so genuine (he "killed" his friend for us to be safe). I really love this, can't wait for the rest of the game!!
I am sometimes too scared to play horror games myself but love watching people play horror games and watching horror movies. Watching Gab play games with reactions completely different to mine watching is funny.

This absolutely blew me away. There have been a lot of games like this to come out. I always enjoy them but it can be hard to make one feel so unique. But this one did it. Rambley is so great and the ending song slaps. Can't wait for more! ❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely love this game and how it turned out. The only critisism i have of it is the animatronics/whatever they are (loyd and molly) look really low resolution, and their movements aren't very well animated.
Ironically, that's one of the things poppy playtime gets right lmao.
I’m absolutely terrified of what the water section will be like. Cause it’s gonna be a huge water serpent and it’ll be run down and that just is all the scariest bits to me.
