Just in case anybody couldn't hear it, when the lion grabbed the player's wrist the critter cuff started producing a very high pitched whining noise that forced the lion to flee in pain.
I was so confused I missed it in my first gameplay I watched of it, that when I put this video on the bg I had to click back on the video like "WHERE IS THAT COMING FROM"
I love that tiny detail after the Railroad segment, that if you look at the commemorative photos on the screen, one of them is a blurry image of Molly Stalking the player along the tracks. Then Mat enters the Theater and Looks anywhere BUT the stage, completely missing the set piece.
Matt walking into a theater and looking in literally every direction *_except_* the actual stage, despite walking directly towards it, for long enough that he triggered Lloyd without even noticing he was *_there_* is definitely one of the moments of all time
@neolithiumproduction Yeah I wish his help would have looked into these things so they could inform him about collectibles so he could pay attention to the game instead of looking for them at every moment. Also so they could inform him about the end info spot and that he can click collectibless to get more info from Rambley.
I hope he considers doing a replay when Chapter 2 finally comes out. I think he'd enjoy it even more if he took another time to go through it instead of looking for collectibles/lore hints. Missing Lloyd nearly every time was hilarious though.

So I've converted the 2920 days to years, it's been EXACTLY 8 years since a visitor showed up. The 4 hours and 23 minutes is either from when the Park was evicted, or it's from Midnight. I'm gonna go with the 'midnight' train of thought lol so uhhhhh its been 8 years, and its 4:23AM. MC did not get ANY sleep. That's it. MC got up at 4AM, went to the park, jumped the fence, and went into the park at nearly half 4 in the MORNING.
Funny opportunity for an Easter egg: Assuming this game takes place on the night/early morning of August 9, that would mean the trademark for Rambley Rangers (registered) was last renewed on August 8, 2014, the irl date that Five Nights At Freddy's was released

If you look at the beginning cutscene, it actually shows the time to be 21:XX (i forgot what the other two digits were) by the time their entering the park, meaning it’s 9pm. Still a madlad tho
Even though Indigo Park is centered around Rambley the Raccoon, the last line of dialogue from Lloyd caught my eye. He said, "I am the real star," before fading out.
If you talk to Rambley about the retro Lloyd plush he gets very upset that ONLY Lloyd gets a retro one. "Where's my limited-edition throwback plush? Where's Mollies? Where's Finley's?"
One thing I love about this game is how it’s actually themed as a spooky Disney land. Most times when a game wants a scary theme park they just throw some roller coasters in a colorful building and call it a day. But this game is actually amazing with its theming: -the opening being a parody of the Walt Disney opening day speech -How the entrance is a mix of Main Street USA and Buena vista street -the train, and the inside being Mickeys runaway railroad - “Pardon our dust” - “Barnstorm” - the park dvds you get sent in the mail I was geeking out the entire time, amazing work Unique Geese
The dev said they’re a big Disney fan and it really shows. If you’re familiar with the history and style of Disney parks basically everything in this game feels extremely familiar. It’s a very loving homage, in my opinion

Even funnier how he missed the information kiosk at the end despite collecting so many items AND never attempted to click on any of the collectables in the information kiosk fmissing all of Ramble's lore filled voice lines.
I sincerely hope Rambly ends up being good in the end. He’s too adorable to be evil. I’m rooting for him being, like, a misguided AI who tries to turn things around after he learns the truth, or rebels against some kind of corrupted code. Honestly though, I anxiously await the day when we get a player in one of these games who isn’t mute. I’m screaming at this dude in my head for not asking any questions.
Well... In almost every horror game when the person who get's controlled or misguided turns on their master, usually dies or gets sacrifice... However Rambly is giving some MAJOR Poppy from poppy playtime vibes like for an example, Rambly confessed that the place is ruined and old and feels sorry for the guest (player) and hopes that the Guest restores the place or be back in business. Poppy shows and confessed by using the video tape (Hour of Joy) and needs you to stop the Prototype for good. Rambly got isolated and stayed at the front of the gate. (I think) Poppy was stuck in a box. Coincidence? I think *N* *O* *T*
I’d imagine they’re going to play into the mistrust of Rambley/the park system/AI, but I think it’d be a misstep (at this point) to turn him actually evil. His energetic and ‘adorable’ personality is clearly the selling point of the game(s). My guess is that he’ll either become briefly controlled by the skunk, or ‘villainous’ by proxy of being programmed to serve the park’s interests. I think the more nuanced approach of “He doesn’t want to hurt you but is designed to protect the park’s interests” is a compelling direction, especially if his AI (or potentially linked soul) has to overcome that core programming to help save our character.
40:37 For those who are wondering, during that lion part it gets scared off because of a high pitched noise. Also, it is made to feel like a chase yet you are never in real danger of losing.
Things I've noticed in the playthrough that not many people seem to notice or talk about: * The first hint of things not being quite right is that Rambley initially indicates to your right when telling you to get registered, before frowning and correcting himself by indicating to your left where the computer actually is (10:38). This suggests that maybe the position of his screen has moved, or his AI is messing up and making him disoriented. * Rambley then says "It's Rambley Tuesday!" when the computer screen says in big bold letters "It's Saturday, so make sure you charge Saturday rates" (11:22). Another hint that he's disoriented and confused. * And of course, the next thing at the beginning is something hard to miss. He says the gate is open when it clearly isn't, before correcting himself and having to think about why he didn't immediately catch the obvious error (12:51). Poor Rambley is absolutely struggling with understanding very basic things...
It's been a very, very long time for him. It's possible its simply hardware breaking down, especially since he seems to work on a device to device format, where instead of being physically located on some server in the park with remote connections, he's "physically" moving from device to device, which is given credence by the fact that he himself says he was initially trapped at the entrance. I'd say these weren't meant to be his jobs to do for the most part (since he seems to conduct the train) and that he's simply trying to help the player because, well, he's been alone for years on end. A single person to talk to would be a dream for him at this point.
for the Rambley Tuesday thing, later on Rambely admits to trying to act like everything is normal and is ecstatic that someone finally came to the park after nearly 10 years so he likely pretended to break down to allow the MC to access more stuff, he's programmed to please people, and so he brakes his programming slightly to allow the MC the discount (he just wants us happy)

Man they really nailed Rambley's character, whether he's actually good and helpful, or it's hiding a sinister design, the writing and voice acting and design makes you want to trust him and go along with it. And the Portal-style song at the end was amaze-balls.
I really like Rambley, they seem to genuinely want to help, and once the player is in danger they immediatly drop the facade and help them. its refreshing, after the "there's this person helping you oops now they are evil" trope has been done to death

I am baffled by the specific things MatPat noticed and the huge things he missed. Like Lloyd sleeping on the stage, Mollie peeking out behind a door on the train, and the arcade game, as well as other collectibles I saw another creator grab. I am SO EXCITED for chapter 2 of Indigo Park. (Edit) never mind he found the arcade game 😊😅
To be fair, most people miss the Mollie behind the train one. And I think that’s sort of intended because your attention is directed at Lloyd. If you happen to turn around and see her, it’s like a fun scary Easter egg.
matt is so trained to look for weird nonsequiter lore clues and hidden textures and notes and newspapers that he misses the bigger things that are more designed to be seen XD hyper focus on the stuff thats there to be more hidden/loooooooore. the sideffect of years of fnaf XD

Theres so much he missed... Seeing Lloyd move on stage, and when you go backstage, you see Lloyd before you go into the maze. He is so focused on finding the small stuff, that he completely missed the big stuff right in front of him😂
13:24 imagine going to Disney World and one of the rides broke down and the one of the employees just says, “Congratulations, you’ve just unlocked a special adventure”, and then makes you fix the ride.
You know I actually was on a Disney ride that broke down, and it was the luckiest thing that could have happened to me. You see the longest line at Disney is almost always the Avatar ride. It is this insane ride that makes you seem like you flying on one of the pterodactyls. So even though I went in an off season it was still 4 hours long, and I waited that whole 4 hours. And so eventually after the it finally got to my turn to go on the ride we go through the whole pre-ride lore/safety instructions, and once we get to the seats it traps you legs in to a saddle position, and you are told to hold on to these handles so that way it can check you diagnostics and transfer your mind into the avatar (extremely clever way to give safety instructions while sticking to the lore). But it is just taking forever, and in hindsight I think the wait must have been caused by the same issue that shut down the ride. Anyways the ride starts at it is the most incredible experience ever in my life. It really feels like you are flying, but you have the security of it being a virtual ride to keep you from truly freaking out like I usually would on a regular roller coaster. But all of the sudden the screen glitched a the entire ride stops mid flight. It was extremely frightening, because it coincided with us almost crashing into something in the ride. So for a little bit I thought that it might of been actually part of the ride, but then turned around and saw that the platform for that I was on wasn’t even properly in the correct spot to get off. It looks similar to an elevator if it were un even with the floor it arrived at. And then after waiting forever (remember we are clamped in a motorcycle seat we can’t move) the ride moved us back into regular position and we were into another room, and they allowed use to do the ride again. (And here’s the best part) Upon completing the second ride realized that the first ride glitched literally one second before it was actually done. So we essentially got to ride the ride TWICE back-to back. That was such a happy accident, don’t you think?
This reminds me a bit of a German saying "den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht sehen." which translates to "Can't see the forest for the trees." It doesn't exactly fit the context but still. You were so focused on searching for the lore, that you missed the lore.
The same song played in the piano is the EXACT same motif/theme that plays after you beat the 8bit arcade game, implying that the character has been to the park before, and has extensive knowledge on its contents to be able to play the entire song on the piano. That or its a cool reference, but considering its not noticeably heard much other than those two instances, its definitely used to draw the listeners attention to connect these two.
I think my favorite aside from those was "Maybe someday you'll grow Big and Strong enough to enter [the high clearance room]~! But until then- *don't.* "
The entire outro song for the game is so sad and telling, it's literally just Rambly being a lonely hyper-accomidating people pleaser (which makes sense since hes an assistant ai designed to be a friend to any potential park goer). You really get the sense that he was fully awake and aware the entire time he was confined to the front gate, his "mind" internalizing every moment of no one coming as him not being good, as his park not being good enough, about something being wrong with him and now that SOMEONE is here hes TERRIFIED to be alone again
My theory for what happened with Lloyd is that Rambley noticed your heart rate spike (through the critter cuff) and played the high pitched noise to try to save you
That makes sense, the critter cuff does have a heart rate monitoring device built in, so that tracks. But what about the resuscitate function? I thinking save system of sorts.
Yeah! Same with the mollie chase and rambley letting the player into the backroom despite them not being an employee, and from his voice lines after, it seems he knows that the mascots have something going on, maybe from past reports of the mascots showing aggression or possibly hurting people? hes aware that there is danger to some extent, but due to the fatigue of being offlinea and confined to the entrance, hes still too disoriented to realize it/ OR someone or something manually blocked his memory to where he cannot act on it without human help

I always love how whenever Matt is playing these games he's so focused on finding little details in the sides that he completely misses things happening right in front of him, like Lloyd on the stage in the theater
How does this guy miss SO MUCH that's actually important to see. Most of Mollies stalking, Lloyd the entire time before he misses 80% of his first jumpscare, all of the *actual* collectible dialogue. Plus, barely any player including him realizes Lloyd backs off because of the wristband making a high pitched beeping sound
With the high pitched noise, it’s a common issue with Mat because he doesn’t ever wear headphones and I’m guessing Ash doesn’t either (which they should) because A LOT of games have sound clues.
What I've noticed is that MatPat is a casual gamer. Unlike a lot of people who play games all the time, he hasn't learned the common game sense of what's usually expected. Usually high budget games introduce and play test a lot so that mechanics are easily understood if you've never played a game before. Indie games don't seem to do this, leading to a lot of casual people missing things not easily explained. For example, in portal 2, a lot of playtesters missed an implosion, so the devs added a sign to indirectly direct players where to look as to not miss it. A lot of people tend to do things you don't expect them to do causing things missed and confusion. This is why games need to be throughly playtested by different types of people so developers can document players' struggles to better direct and introduce concepts to the players. MatPat needs a big red circle, around the part where it says click on the collectable though.
I am flabbergasted that Matt managed to not only miss every appearance of Molly before she's shoved in your face. But did not look at the whole LION sleeping center stage, in a spotlight as you walk down the center aisle of the theatre. You weren't even looking in the general direction of the jump scare...
To be fair, most of Mollie's stalking is designed to be outside of the center of attention, with the exception of the track photos. In Mollie's room, she's hidden in one of the corners. In Lloyd's room, despite her being close enough to touch you, you're not actually in there for that long and most of the time is filled with dialogue between a TV screen and a cardboard cutout. I'm still waiting to find someone that catches Mollie's stalking, at least in Lloyd's room, on a first playthrough.

@@MistyTheCat-n9j The trademark needs to be renewed every 10 years. So the renewal date was 2 years before the closure of the park. Also if we take it literally, the protagonist showed up the day after the company’s trademark expired, which could be interesting.
Every time I watch a video of Indigo Park, I keep getting the sense that Rambly is like Oswald the lucky rabbit. More and more with all the little details, such as • his optimistic attitude being a mask to his fear of being left alone forever and forgotten. • Being originally the star creation who would eventually be outshined by another character • and how he’s confined to a forgotten wasteland that was once his home. But overall I really love the game and their character’s
It's the other way around; the game mentioned that Lloyd used to be the main star, but Rambley is now the main face of the park and the one most people know of. That means Lloyd is the one who is like Oswald, and Rambley is Mickey.
Rambley's VA did such a good job! I literally can not imagine any other voice for him now that would be more fitting. Such a well written character aswell, cant wait to see more!!! -Puzzle-
27:04 you can see the bird running on the train tracks. In the middle of the big screen, there is a very blurry image of Mollie running down the tracks. Just wanted to point that out for people who didn’t see it ❤
I also noticed one of her voice lines was "Ive known you for 100 years" which Finley says on the ride, meaning she was probably right behind us the whole ride 😰
You can also see her watching you through the door before closing it because she sees you look at her in the Molly area on the Rambley's Railroad ride and in the very back of Lloyd's theatre on the left side, and she will watch you the whole time. She was so close to you, if you turned around, you would've had an eye-to-eye moment
Let's just all ignore the fact that there's UTTP comments because they can't do no shit in their lives other than hurting people emotionally to entertain themselves. But yeah. From making an fnf mod, to making an Indie horror game is incredible.
I still can’t believe that this game has only just come out but the kickstarter goal for chapter two has already been met. In fact it’s already over double its goal of $50,000 and there’s still 25 days left of the kickstarter as of this video releasing. I can’t wait to see what uniquegeese and the rest of the team behind the game have in store for chapter two!
To clarify a few things: First, everyone says that the Molly animatronic is saying "not Rambly He hurt Lloyd" but during a livestream UniqueGeese said it was actually random gibberish. Second, when Lloyd attacks you, your critter cuff let off a frequency that harmed him. Third, its not made clear but you can click on the collectibles in the info kiosk to hear Rambley talk about the collectible, there's also some interesting lore in a few of them. Fourth, the random bottles and junk is just Unreal Engine free assets. Fifth, that sheep doll you get is actually a reference to Percy the Poodle from Playdate with Percy.
The problem is Matt's so busy looking for small scraps of lore and information that he misses all the massive plot points and lore dumps you'd get from playing normally
So glad Indigo Park is getting the love it deserves. UniqueGeese and his team has worked and come so far. He started off form a blank slate, remaking a Garten of BanBan chapter with no experience, to creating his own mascot horror game-all while he's in college. And yesterday, the Kickstarter hit their goal, so chapter 2 of Indigo Park is going to come out! So excited to see what the team cooks up!

I think Lloyd was the original mascot before Rambley, In the opening cinematic you see a picture of Lloyd next to the door where the picture of rambley is now. It would also explain why he's the only one to have a retro plush. and in the back of the stage where the lion (probably Lloyd?) is at you can see a big golden statue of him like the one with rambley and the founder at the entrance of the park
Alternatively, due to Lloyd's popularity, Rambley could have been on the way out to be replaced by Lloyd as the park's main mascot hence his great distaste for the lion. However, I hate to think of the idea Rambley is one of the bad guys since he's so cute!
The fact that I literally just saw a scene of this game on tik tok and said “MatPats gonna have a field day with this one.” And seconds later I get the GT Live alert🤣
part of what makes rambley a great and unique mascot is that he's not like, creepy or suspicious. matpat was a little sus in the video here, but rambley didn't actually do anything that felt like it had an undertone. and they really hammered that home by the end with him asking you to reopen the park, and his little dubiously-canonical song that portrays him as just REALLY wanting the park to be a fun place for people to enjoy. It's not often that a mascot horror mascot is so friendly and wants to be your ally, while also not seeming to be mysteriously only semi-affected by the evil curse/magic/infection that plagues the location. The story so far feels very honest. You and Rambley are the good guys, just trying to save the park! and what's left is yet to be seen.
I'm pretty sure that the character we play as is someone who went there as a child and has come back 7 years later to figure out why it closed unexpectedly, it would explain why the Ai didn't recognize our character. but I'm just guessing.
That is actually the plot, you can see the conversation chat on introduction and there is "That park we used to go as kids?" also if Matpad had read the collectionables there is a lot of "I remember this differently..." or "When I had come here with my family..."

@UnderworldsHeiress the trade mark didn't have to be made on opening day to my understanding. It also could have been something referred to in the show the characters were based in, as this seems to be very Disney land rip off joke. Even if the trade mark was made day of the park opening, it doesn't mean it doesn't mean the park ended in a set of 10 years. Rambley could have also taged a random passer by as a visitor, maybe someone who wanted to buy the property, but for some reason couldn't get in.

You can hear molly repeating lines around the park (like Cassidy from fnaf UCN) I think the first one is when he says “let’s go” around the entrance, I wouldn’t timestap it though cause it’s hard to hear on video. And it happens multiple times
I feel like one big plus for this game is that the creator is an active member in the indie horror community and they understand what fans want from games
The main character doesn't really push the Lion away. When the Lion attack, it sounds and looks like Rambly (or at least your watch band) saves you. If you're wearing headphones or have the volume turned up high enough, you can hear a high pitch whine and the Lion looks to be clutching his ears and trying to get away from noise.

@SCPFo5Council Honestly, I'm surprised I never had an accident. Had to crawl over and under all the games and play things for various reasons. I'm glad it was an "almost" for you. I remember when I worked at McDonalds they still had CRT monitors and one was just resting above where we kept the cups and it fell off. I don't even know how I caught it, but I did. That's just to say, I'm not surprised at the lack of worker safety.
A lot of the spooky stuff that happens in the game is not done up-front and center, but hidden out of the corner of your eye in 'blink and you'll miss it' fashion. It's very likely that you'll miss many things during your first playthrough, but that adds to the replayability of the game. :) You can see how Mollie is staring at the player from across the room in the corner during the train ride through Mollie's room at the beginning of her dialogue, right underneath the big sun in 20:20. Also, she stares at you from right behind you during/at the end of Lloyd's presentation in the train ride. Despite how close she is to you in that instance, it's the easiest to miss. I guess Lloyd is really good at captivating an audience's attention, huh? If you enter the storage room at the back of the theater carefully in 35:15, you can spot the lion staring at you from behind some boxes. If you look towards the right in 51:22, you can see Mollie running along the corridor there and up the stairs. Also, in 29:50, you can actually click on the collectibles to hear Ramble comment on those items and give more lore and background about the park. I hope this helps. Lovely game. I hope to see more of it in the near future.

Am I the only one who noticed Mollie's decapitated head got more bloody overtime in that sequence with Rambley's apology? Nice, albeit morbid, attention to detail.
I guess hovering over it gives the player character's thoughts on it. But I guess he missed the connection where you are meant to actually ask Rambley about it, where you probably have to actually click on it?

I like how Rambley was so adorable that it was enough to get a pretty big fanbase already, but now the mystery that follows is also adding to the popularity, I really hope this actually does better, cause this is one of the first MHG's that feels so open, instead of closed in and suffocating, it's times like these I wish I could be part of the production, just so I can enjoy the inside of it all.

The 'Turn on the generator Rambley Adventure' is what made me really like Rambley's character. He's just so cute. And the end made me tear up. I'm glad the game is free and I was able to experience it for myself. Definitely looking forward to Chapter 2.

I can’t believe Matpat looked around for every part of the train ride except for Lloyd’s. I was so excited for that part because surely, _surely,_ he would look around in that part too This is what psychic damage feels like.

Since in the beginning you can see mollie macaw is her favourite and Lloyd is ours! I think we’re older. Checking out the place after it has been shut down or something. I love that tiny detail after the Railroad segment, that if you look at the commemorative photos on the screen, one of them is a blurry image of Molly Stalking the player along the tracks.
Then Mat enters the Theater and Looks anywhere BUT the stage, completely missing the set piece.
Matt walking into a theater and looking in literally every direction *_except_* the actual stage, despite walking directly towards it, for long enough that he triggered Lloyd without even noticing he was *_there_* is definitely one of the moments of all time
I think its the issue of giving matpat knowledge of collectables. He was so busy looking for those, he didn't actually see the very obvious Lion.

One thing I love about this game is how it’s actually themed as a spooky Disney land. Most times when a game wants a scary theme park they just throw some roller coasters in a colorful building and call it a day. But this game is actually amazing with its theming:
-the opening being a parody of the Walt Disney opening day speech
-How the entrance is a mix of Main Street USA and Buena vista street
-the train, and the inside being Mickeys runaway railroad

- “Barnstorm”
- the park dvds you get sent in the mail

I sincerely hope Rambly ends up being good in the end. He’s too adorable to be evil. I’m rooting for him being, like, a misguided AI who tries to turn things around after he learns the truth, or rebels against some kind of corrupted code. Well... In almost every horror game when the person who get's controlled or misguided turns on their master, usually dies or gets sacrifice...
However Rambly is giving some MAJOR Poppy from poppy playtime vibes like for an example,
Rambly confessed that the place is ruined and old and feels sorry for the guest (player) and hopes that the Guest restores the place or be back in business.
Poppy shows and confessed by using the video tape (Hour of Joy) and needs you to stop the Prototype for good.
Rambly got isolated and stayed at the front of the gate. (I think)

I’d imagine they’re going to play into the mistrust of Rambley/the park system/AI, but I think it’d be a misstep (at this point) to turn him actually evil. His energetic and ‘adorable’ personality is clearly the selling point of the game(s).
My guess is that he’ll either become briefly controlled by the skunk, or ‘villainous’ by proxy of being programmed to serve the park’s interests. I think the more nuanced approach of “He doesn’t want to hurt you but is designed to protect the park’s interests” is a compelling direction, especially if his AI (or potentially linked soul) has to overcome that core programming to help save our character.

40:37 For those who are wondering, during that lion part it gets scared off because of a high pitched noise. Also, it is made to feel like a chase yet you are never in real danger of losing.
Things I've noticed in the playthrough that not many people seem to notice or talk about:
* The first hint of things not being quite right is that Rambley initially indicates to your right when telling you to get registered, before frowning and correcting himself by indicating to your left where the computer actually is (10:38). This suggests that maybe the position of his screen has moved, or his AI is messing up and making him disoriented.
* Rambley then says "It's Rambley Tuesday!" when the computer screen says in big bold letters "It's Saturday, so make sure you charge Saturday rates" (11:22). Another hint that he's disoriented and confused.
* And of course, the next thing at the beginning is something hard to miss. He says the gate is open when it clearly isn't, before correcting himself and having to think about why he didn't immediately catch the obvious error (12:51). Poor Rambley is absolutely struggling with understanding very basic things...
It's been a very, very long time for him. It's possible its simply hardware breaking down, especially since he seems to work on a device to device format, where instead of being physically located on some server in the park with remote connections, he's "physically" moving from device to device, which is given credence by the fact that he himself says he was initially trapped at the entrance. I'd say these weren't meant to be his jobs to do for the most part (since he seems to conduct the train) and that he's simply trying to help the player because, well, he's been alone for years on end. A single person to talk to would be a dream for him at this point.
for the Rambley Tuesday thing, later on Rambely admits to trying to act like everything is normal and is ecstatic that someone finally came to the park after nearly 10 years
so he likely pretended to break down to allow the MC to access more stuff, he's programmed to please people, and so he brakes his programming slightly to allow the MC the discount (he just wants us happy)

Man they really nailed Rambley's character, whether he's actually good and helpful, or it's hiding a sinister design, the writing and voice acting and design makes you want to trust him and go along with it.
And the Portal-style song at the end was amaze-balls.
I really like Rambley, they seem to genuinely want to help, and once the player is in danger they immediatly drop the facade and help them. its refreshing, after the "there's this person helping you oops now they are evil" trope has been done to death

Theres so much he missed... Seeing Lloyd move on stage, and when you go backstage, you see Lloyd before you go into the maze. He is so focused on finding the small stuff, that he completely missed the big stuff right in front of him😂
If you play this part of Lloyd's part of the ride if you turn left you're face to Face with Molly
13:24 imagine going to Disney World and one of the rides broke down and the one of the employees just says, “Congratulations, you’ve just unlocked a special adventure”, and then makes you fix the ride.
You know I actually was on a Disney ride that broke down, and it was the luckiest thing that could have happened to me.
You see the longest line at Disney is almost always the Avatar ride. It is this insane ride that makes you seem like you flying on one of the pterodactyls. So even though I went in an off season it was still 4 hours long, and I waited that whole 4 hours. And so eventually after the it finally got to my turn to go on the ride we go through the whole pre-ride lore/safety instructions, and once we get to the seats it traps you legs in to a saddle position, and you are told to hold on to these handles so that way it can check you diagnostics and transfer your mind into the avatar (extremely clever way to give safety instructions while sticking to the lore). But it is just taking forever, and in hindsight I think the wait must have been caused by the same issue that shut down the ride. Anyways the ride starts at it is the most incredible experience ever in my life. It really feels like you are flying, but you have the security of it being a virtual ride to keep you from truly freaking out like I usually would on a regular roller coaster. But all of the sudden the screen glitched a the entire ride stops mid flight. It was extremely frightening, because it coincided with us almost crashing into something in the ride. So for a little bit I thought that it might of been actually part of the ride, but then turned around and saw that the platform for that I was on wasn’t even properly in the correct spot to get off. It looks similar to an elevator if it were un even with the floor it arrived at. And then after waiting forever (remember we are clamped in a motorcycle seat we can’t move) the ride moved us back into regular position and we were into another room, and they allowed use to do the ride again. (And here’s the best part) Upon completing the second ride realized that the first ride glitched literally one second before it was actually done. So we essentially got to ride the ride TWICE back-to back. That was such a happy accident, don’t you think?

The same song played in the piano is the EXACT same motif/theme that plays after you beat the 8bit arcade game, implying that the character has been to the park before, and has extensive knowledge on its contents to be able to play the entire song on the piano. That or its a cool reference, but considering its not noticeably heard much other than those two instances, its definitely used to draw the listeners attention to connect these two.

The entire outro song for the game is so sad and telling, it's literally just Rambly being a lonely hyper-accomidating people pleaser (which makes sense since hes an assistant ai designed to be a friend to any potential park goer). You really get the sense that he was fully awake and aware the entire time he was confined to the front gate, his "mind" internalizing every moment of no one coming as him not being good, as his park not being good enough, about something being wrong with him and now that SOMEONE is here hes TERRIFIED to be alone again
My theory for what happened with Lloyd is that Rambley noticed your heart rate spike (through the critter cuff) and played the high pitched noise to try to save you

Same with the mollie chase and rambley letting the player into the backroom despite them not being an employee, and from his voice lines after, it seems he knows that the mascots have something going on, maybe from past reports of the mascots showing aggression or possibly hurting people? hes aware that there is danger to some extent, but due to the fatigue of being offlinea and confined to the entrance, hes still too disoriented to realize it/ OR someone or something manually blocked his memory to where he cannot act on it without human help

How does this guy miss SO MUCH that's actually important to see. Most of Mollies stalking, Lloyd the entire time before he misses 80% of his first jumpscare, all of the *actual* collectible dialogue. Plus, barely any player including him realizes Lloyd backs off because of the wristband making a high pitched beeping sound

With the high pitched noise, it’s a common issue with Mat because he doesn’t ever wear headphones and I’m guessing Ash doesn’t either (which they should) because A LOT of games have sound clues.
What I've noticed is that MatPat is a casual gamer. Unlike a lot of people who play games all the time, he hasn't learned the common game sense of what's usually expected. Usually high budget games introduce and play test a lot so that mechanics are easily understood if you've never played a game before. Indie games don't seem to do this, leading to a lot of casual people missing things not easily explained.
For example, in portal 2, a lot of playtesters missed an implosion, so the devs added a sign to indirectly direct players where to look as to not miss it.
A lot of people tend to do things you don't expect them to do causing things missed and confusion.
This is why games need to be throughly playtested by different types of people so developers can document players' struggles to better direct and introduce concepts to the players.
MatPat needs a big red circle, around the part where it says click on the collectable though.
I am flabbergasted that Matt managed to not only miss every appearance of Molly before she's shoved in your face. But did not look at the whole LION sleeping center stage, in a spotlight as you walk down the center aisle of the theatre. You weren't even looking in the general direction of the jump scare...
To be fair, most of Mollie's stalking is designed to be outside of the center of attention, with the exception of the track photos. In Mollie's room, she's hidden in one of the corners. In Lloyd's room, despite her being close enough to touch you, you're not actually in there for that long and most of the time is filled with dialogue between a TV screen and a cardboard cutout.
I'm still waiting to find someone that catches Mollie's stalking, at least in Lloyd's room, on a first playthrough.

Also if we take it literally, the protagonist showed up the day after the company’s trademark expired, which could be interesting.

Every time I watch a video of Indigo Park, I keep getting the sense that Rambly is like Oswald the lucky rabbit.
More and more with all the little details, such as
• his optimistic attitude being a mask to his fear of being left alone forever and forgotten.
• Being originally the star creation who would eventually be outshined by another character
• and how he’s confined to a forgotten wasteland that was once his home.
But overall I really love the game and their character’s
It's the other way around; the game mentioned that Lloyd used to be the main star, but Rambley is now the main face of the park and the one most people know of. That means Lloyd is the one who is like Oswald, and Rambley is Mickey.

To clarify a few things: First, everyone says that the Molly animatronic is saying "not Rambly He hurt Lloyd" but during a livestream UniqueGeese said it was actually random gibberish. Second, when Lloyd attacks you, your critter cuff let off a frequency that harmed him. Third, its not made clear but you can click on the collectibles in the info kiosk to hear Rambley talk about the collectible, there's also some interesting lore in a few of them. Fourth, the random bottles and junk is just Unreal Engine free assets. Fifth, that sheep doll you get is actually a reference to Percy the Poodle from Playdate with Percy.

He started off form a blank slate, remaking a Garten of BanBan chapter with no experience, to creating his own mascot horror game-all while he's in college. And yesterday, the Kickstarter hit their goal, so chapter 2 of Indigo Park is going to come out! So excited to see what the team cooks up!

I think Lloyd was the original mascot before Rambley, In the opening cinematic you see a picture of Lloyd next to the door where the picture of rambley is now. It would also explain why he's the only one to have a retro plush. and in the back of the stage where the lion (probably Lloyd?) is at you can see a big golden statue of him like the one with rambley and the founder at the entrance of the park

part of what makes rambley a great and unique mascot is that he's not like, creepy or suspicious. matpat was a little sus in the video here, but rambley didn't actually do anything that felt like it had an undertone. and they really hammered that home by the end with him asking you to reopen the park, and his little dubiously-canonical song that portrays him as just REALLY wanting the park to be a fun place for people to enjoy.
It's not often that a mascot horror mascot is so friendly and wants to be your ally, while also not seeming to be mysteriously only semi-affected by the evil curse/magic/infection that plagues the location. The story so far feels very honest. You and Rambley are the good guys, just trying to save the park! and what's left is yet to be seen.
Rambley's kinda like Glamrock Freddy. Both want to be your friend, both are AI, and both do try to help you out.

It also could have been something referred to in the show the characters were based in, as this seems to be very Disney land rip off joke. Even if the trade mark was made day of the park opening, it doesn't mean it doesn't mean the park ended in a set of 10 years. Rambley could have also taged a random passer by as a visitor, maybe someone who wanted to buy the property, but for some reason couldn't get in.

The main character doesn't really push the Lion away. When the Lion attack, it sounds and looks like Rambly (or at least your watch band) saves you.
If you're wearing headphones or have the volume turned up high enough, you can hear a high pitch whine and the Lion looks to be clutching his ears and trying to get away from noise.

A lot of the spooky stuff that happens in the game is not done up-front and center, but hidden out of the corner of your eye in 'blink and you'll miss it' fashion. It's very likely that you'll miss many things during your first playthrough, but that adds to the replayability of the game. :)
You can see how Mollie is staring at the player from across the room in the corner during the train ride through Mollie's room at the beginning of her dialogue, right underneath the big sun in 20:20. Also, she stares at you from right behind you during/at the end of Lloyd's presentation in the train ride. Despite how close she is to you in that instance, it's the easiest to miss. I guess Lloyd is really good at captivating an audience's attention, huh?
If you enter the storage room at the back of the theater carefully in 35:15, you can spot the lion staring at you from behind some boxes.
If you look towards the right in 51:22, you can see Mollie running along the corridor there and up the stairs.
Also, in 29:50, you can actually click on the collectibles to hear Ramble comment on those items and give more lore and background about the park.
I hope this helps. Lovely game. I hope to see more of it in the near future.

The 'Turn on the generator Rambley Adventure' is what made me really like Rambley's character.

Mollie's place was so nostalgic to me, everything in their from the colourful stairs and the netting and the little plastic bit jutting out that you can see everyone form up there was like a place I had in my childhood

I heard the park closed in 2015 October 7th which meant that it's been a long time ago but fairly recent unlike it getting closed in 1980's-90's
