Also 4K new castle main he takes such a high skill level to play is why people sleep on him a great new castle is a nightmare to play against just very hard to play him!!
@@jordenmitchell8025 People just need to put the time in to learn him and he won't be as hard to play anymore. You are also respected a lot more by being a Newcastle main compared to someone like Rev, which is nice to not have your games discredited by the legend you main😂
@@jordenmitchell8025be happy about that. It's better to play an off brand legend, no one gonna pick them before you every second match. I'm an 8k wattson main and i tried playing octane recently, mf gets picked before me all the time and that's a frustrating situation to have for a main.
I’m also a Newcastle main, just not as good as yall lol only at 1000 kills but he’s my only legend with that many kills. I’ve mained Gibby and Caustic before but I finally mastered Newcastle and could never main a different legend. He’s so freaking good it’s insane. For people who don’t like him I think if they knew how to play him they’d change their mind. He provides so much utility offensively and defensively.
Personally I don't think that seer is OP, he's been so watered down from his former self and his tactical is borderline useless. I'll admit that his passive is strong but his ult is ok, removing the diamond marker from people sprinting in his ultimate is silly and its throw range is actually a joke. The throw range should just be added back into his kit from the perks and it should be replaced by a different perk which either extends the lifetime of his ultimate by 5 or 10 seconds, increases the radius of his ultimate by like 10% or add the diamond markers to people sprinting. They should also just incorporate the other 1.5+ second scan duration from his other perk and add a new perk which either decreases the cooldown of his scan by 5 seconds or increases the scan duration further to about 5/6 seconds in total. This character has been so gutted by the balancing team, it's actually so sad
He's so cheap. The silence on his scan lasts way too long, it's so crazy his scan even does that.
@@pinkplasticlagIt’s a easier to hit Old Rev silence which is crazy. Silence was balanced because it was locked into a small area, Seer can have a 75m distance scan (at purple) with a roughly 10-15m wide area while knowing the enemy’s health and see them.
@@GrantThomas0Yeah it's pretty crazy. I knew he was still going to be a problem after his nerfs/downfall. I can't understand why his scan needs a silence or why the devs think that's fair but they've proven they don't care about their fans anyway 🙂
Yeah, seer was bottom tier last season and he still is in that same bottom tier. Bloodhound nerf did not change a thing about seer. I have no idea why some streamers keep trying to push him in by force (trying to get another seer nerf for meme content?).

Great legend but he’s extremely selfish.
Having a character with guarenteed 1v1 ability to turn a fight into a 2v3 is great team utility in my opinion. He ults, knocks a player, then jumps out to heal while other two push.
That beginning statement of just getting your idea out there and it not needing to be perfect is great advice. Something I needed to hear honestly since I’ve been beating myself up on actually posting videos on my main channel. Thanks Raynday ❤

Rn Crypto has been my favorite character to use in ranked, his scanning ability to scan around with the drone, and just know if anyone is near u by throwing it out is really nice. Also the EMP can be a major difference maker if used properly. Its also nice that if he scans someone and your teammate kills them, u get an assist for that so hes very nice for ranking up too
Ash kit is fine, but I say is really held back by certain parts of her kit.
Her tactical isn't really strong enough that only one charge makes sense. I think you could safely add her second charge perk into her kit fine.
Passive is just a way weaker Survey beacon. Two reasonable change I would want is 1: Her passive will no longer notify enemies of death box scan. & 2: She can scan death boxes of enemies that you killed. The former makes her passive competitive to survey Beacons, & the latter makes it more useful throughout the match.
Ultimate I think just needs a cooldown reduction. 2 Minutes is a really long cooldown for a ability that last 15 seconds. I would reduce its cooldown by 30 seconds or 60 seconds.
Ash's kit is fine, but its outclassed. Her passive is a Worse Survey Beacon, & her Ultimate provides a very good burst rotation tool, but other rotation Legends have shorter or equal cooldowns & much more utility.
What do ya'll think?
God, if Ash had a 1 minute, even 1m 30s cooldown on her Ult, she'd suddenly be insanely viable. Maybe even a new perk that would give her 2 Ult charges... There's just so many ways (changes that are relatively easy to implement, mind you) that Ash could be improved, yet Respawn keeps ignoring such legends, for no reason!
They could even give her Q the old Rev silence, for the 3 second duration when someone is tethered, making her Q actually stop all movement, unlike now, when legends without any movement abilities like Fuse, Ballistic, Catalyst and others get screwed over more than Horizon - that can just gravity lift out of it and heal simultaneously; Pathfinder/Vantage - that can continously pull themselves out of it with their tacs; Wraith/Alter/even Ash herself - being able to phase out. Meanwhile, Revenant and Octane DO get held in place when they try to escape Ash's Q. Ash's tactical is so unreliable with its outcome, it's mind-boggling...
Base ash should have two snares and when you get to lvl 3 you could choose between a buffed greedy snare perk and a new lvl 3 perk what buffs the ult in some way..
Personally I think Ash is way better than she gets credit for.
Her ULT is the fastest and safest relocation ability in the game, plus enemies rarely have time to follow. Now that they gave her ULT a slight buff it's helps to make it more consistently accurate. Changing her cooldown to 1m30s would be really helpful but personally I'd like to see her perks change to giving you a choice between a longer portal or -30s cooldown.
Her tactical is also better than it gets credit for, especially when you get the second perk. The perk that allows you to tether more than one enemy and it staying on the ground longer is really good. Much better than I thought, as I was using the double tethers more often. I get so many kills using the tether and arc stars. The comment suggesting make her tether take away enemy abilities for the few seconds while they're in the tether would be amazing. Currently I just don't use it against an Ash or Wraith because it's a waste of her ability. I'd leave the perks as-is for her tactical.
Now her Passive is really underwhelming. Maybe a simple change could be if the enemies that killed the enemies box you scanned is dead, it goes ahead and show the team that killed them. That way it always show you someone. They could also increase the range at which you can scan the box instead of having to be right up on it. This would give you valuable information late game without having to run right up on a box and risk getting shot.
Combine all of these changes and I bet Ash would shoot to an S Tier Legend and be in ALGS within weeks.
These long-format dives are appreciated. BYW, icon works, but the word you were looking for when describing Caustic as an icon of defensive play is a paragon.
This list is terrible, once I saw Seer being put in the op slot I knew it was going to be bad.
I mostly play Newcastle, Gibby and Ash cause i have the most fun with them. Lists are cool but this is a game. Play who you like!
If you play the game to win you need to play meta champions to have a fighting chance, imagine watching the algs and one squad runs mirage, ballistic, and loba I can guarantee you they get absolutely stomped, play how you want for sure but if you’re playing the game to win games, statistically you’re more likely to win if you are abusing the meta

@@shalindelta7 yeah but I would even argue that if a player of equal skill is playing a more meta champion you will likely lose the fight solely based on that no?

@@epaequalsgay5777i think it is situational. 1v1 is different than 3v3. Playing with a coordinated team is way different than playing with randoms without mics. Even the map can be a factor. He called Wattson s tier but 1v1 in an open field she is not great.
Love the content man! But to comment about Valk. I don’t really see her in my lobbies either honestly. But when i do, they’re amazing with her
I would love to see them add a ring console perk to Maggie. Remove the shotgun perk. That perk is worthless imo since shotguns aren't meta and haven't been for so long.
I want to master a few legends, to stay flexible in different team comps (mainly ranked focus & I sometimes solo que). I decided for Fuse (aggressive), Newcastle (Support), Crypto (Recon) and I want one more movement character. Who do you rather recommend, Vantage or Valkyrie?
I've been using Alter initially I did not liked her at all however I gave her another chance and has grew up on me to the point that I have been only using her, I agree it has a high skill ceiling but if you think outside the box you can do some crazy plays with her and her ult to reset is pretty good but you do need team coordination, communication is a must with her.
For Valkyrie, I feel like she should get access to scan Beacons through a perk to see if it shakes things up.
Would be nice to see the extra ult height built back into her base kit to give her a guaranteed edge over evacs, and that perk slot could be replaced by beacon scan. Would make her very interesting again.
I have started maining valkyrie again. I still even with evac towers she has a place. Obviously the opportunity cost of having other equipment or not finding an evac tower but also she can scan in the air. You also can combine the evac tower with the ult for huge rotations.
My 2 mains kicking off d tier. Maybe that says something about my level of play.
For Ash they just need to do this
passive buffed you can hit all deathboxes for info on killers and teamates. (all 6 people)
ult buffed to make it less telegraphed or instant OR speed boost after teleport
fix bug with activation distance on arc snare ( will only work on enemies 18 metres in front of you rn )
changes interaction with horizon Q so it dosent glitch out instead can be placed below it
ability to stick arc snare to ziplines (pathfinder, jump towers and evacs)
I am surprised I don't see any high frag teams play vantage path and rev
Rev not being OP but Seer is OP… this list ain’t it from top to bottom.
I guess I don't agree with being unpopular or being hard (crypto and newcastles case) as a real character fault, I think in terms of impact both of these characters are A personally.
In terms of what Newc needs I think it's just improved castle placement, literally it, maybe make the shield 1000 hp by default and make the "thick shield" perk do something like make the shield wider by 25-30% or something, so it's easier for your team mates to play off. If castle was able to toggle off lock on, have a quick placement option, and better more accurate placement in general he's literally perfect at that point.
I’ve noticed that killing Bangalore is waaaaay easier lately. There’s no longer any risk in pushing. She can’t use bloodhound and she can’t use digi sight. If you crack bang just push, trust me, she no longer can punish you. I’m not a bang main so I’m cool with it. Before I felt bang had too much defensive capabilities because of the smoke but now pushing and finishing after I crack her has just been way easier. Her smoke can still be used offensively of course however the defense aspect was completely removed (thank god). The fact that I can see bang through her smoke with the outline is amazing. It’s nice not having to play a specific legend or finding a specific attachment to counter her. Now everyone is a can just push her. Super happy with the bang nerf. She was ridiculous to fight.
I think NC should be higher, once players commit to learning him, his play rate will rise in competitive. I also think it’s reasonable to put him into the wildcard section.
Thing is smoke will always be op in shooters, look at CS, Valorant, COD etc. It provides not only concealment and prevent info gathering and when shooting things is specifically about those 2 things the results are obvious.
Great video. To me, Pathfinder represents a balanced, high skill character. The grapple is arguably one of the most nuanced abilities in the game; it rewards those who master it but it’s not outright OP or broken. And his hitbox is a fair tradeoff for the strong tactical. Additionally, having the option to scan for ring or for enemies adds a LOT of utility for the team.
In contrast, Horizon is a character that doesn’t offer much team utility (outside of giving her team height- which is strong but isn’t as strong as scanning for ring) but is still just a demon if you look at the synergy between her abilities. Really, it’s her passive that I think is still off-balance. She has access to superior movement at all times for free. I think they should consider tweaking the passive but giving her some sort of team utility ability.
Mirage in solo’s and always on 1 v 1’s is insane 🙏🏼
Maybe an Idea for a video, 3 tier lists: one ranking the passivs, one the tacticals and one the ultimates.

@arsenal_too he's good but let's not go crazy..his ultimate is the only thing people have a problem with and it's on a long cooldown while also doubling the size of his hitbox.
Did you watch the revenant part? I say this explicitly! My view is always skewed towards the entire scene including ALGS which has the highest ranking priority. Rev is a #1 type legend in ranked and I make that pretty clear, just not in competitive.
What sucks the most about Bang as a character is she has clear counters but we don’t want those characters at the top, i.e. Crypto, he counters bang so hard but his skill ceiling is high & isn’t the the most enjoyable so i can see the dilemma but i would just keep nerfing bang at that point to force the issue

Hey just to let you know, idk if you were on Apex at this time, but revenant was in the, idk about algs, but in competitive meta early in Apex. One of the first meta's was Revenant, Octane, And wraith. With Revenant old kit. Wraith would portal in and teleport everyone, then octane would be a way also with wraiths portal, they can get in and out. Then depending on how the fight goes. Octane can rotate to a third party, or go back into port and jump pad far away. This was a meta around the time that bubble fights were a thing and revenant was used as a safe gate to pushing squads.
I talk about this in the video my man :) Totem rush meta is kind of what it was called, and yes that’s when rev was algs/comp viable for awhile

No one wants to know about legends. We want to know what YOU have to say on the state of apex, not what apex wants you to say about it.

"It's not about how good a character is at their best, it's about how good a character is at their worst" -HisWattson. This quote is why Wattson is the best control legend. On paper, it may seem like Cat or Caustic is just far better, but that's at those characters most powerful situations. A worst case scenario for a Catalyst and Caustic is being naded, and there are Fuses and Horizons everywhere, while Wattson's counter, Crypto, is one of the least picked legends in the game (and as a Wattson main, I have nothing but respect for Crypto mains. Even tho you shit heads be destroying my ult, I'd much rather fight you guys than another Rev or Horizon crutch.) You are not running into Wattsons worst case scenario as much as Caustic and Catalyst, and even if you do get emp'd as Wattson, the split circuit perk allows you to ult accel faster, allowing you to rebuild your setup much faster. There is still lots of counter play for Wattson in her worst case scenario, if a Caustic or Catalyst gets naded out of a build there's nothing they can do.
I think the seer ice rate and bloodhound drop is a little reactionary . bloodhounds scan is still the most reliable tactical of all recon legends, widest range and unavoidable. I think teams will go back to him even without the smoke visibility

When I speak about OP, it’s what is driving the comps of the best players in the world. OP just distinguishes that these characters are the “crucial picks” everyone builds around. I explain this in my tier list quite clearly, but SEER’s transition up (or Caustic’s down) is a matter of what is being valued in the meta. Bloodhound and Bangalore nerfs have allowed for a wide patch of new characters to be seen as valuable. Think of it like this. Let’s say all I have to do is make TikToks to become famous. Well then like most people, that’s all I would do. But suddenly TikTok goes away. Well, then I’ll probably start making RUclips videos, instagram reels and Twitter posts. It’s not like any of these weren’t valuable beforehand - but now that the clear route to success is no longer there - more options can be used. Bloodhound and Bang were, in this hypothetical situation, so good that all other options were irrelevant. Now that they have been nerfed, the flood gates are open and seer has taken bloods place as the #1 scan legend in apex. And nearly 95% of pro comps use a scan legend. Kind of a rushed analogy but hopefully that makes sense.

I cant understand stand why this campany why they are not fair with their players/ colecters, why they dont update the old prestige skins with sky dives trails, im waiting 5around years folk hero ,maybe they dont like mirage, i love to play duos, arenas , they take that, they are lazy devs , they stop creating stats trackers and put in the events , im so disapointing with the people who control the game, omg , alot of mony alot of time in this, 😢 omg

I personally think Rev should be higher just for Ranked, he mentioned it but I think he should be A. As a former Rev main I do slightly miss the RevTane meta (it was a little annoying to play against)

Well, at 1% pickrate, you may see a seer every 2nd game (if you get to see the entire lobby) or so xD. And even that will fall back to normal after ppl finish their 'testing if seer is still useless' phase.
