1. Make a list of you top 5 needs for a quality life! 2. Order them from most to least important 3. Research countries that meet the top 3 in your list 4.Think about how much you'd be willing to compromise the other 2 5. Visit that country if feasible! If not, talk to other travelers already living there!
I've moved from West Africa to Europe and I am still struggling with that individualistic mindset/culture/society. This is something so common to western societies to the point where no one even notices that anymore. This is definitely not something I'm comfortable with and I've been considering moving back to Africa. Still processing all of that. Thanks for sharing your journey
I've lived in USA my whole life and once I started learning about other cultures, It opened my eyes to the individualistic society I live in. I agreeeeee with you
For me, safety as a single woman has been very important when thinking of living abroad. I loved living in Asia. LOVED IT! I also like tying a country to my work. Expat job packages are amazing and I don't ever want to have to pay for rent abroad again 😅 Next is how affordable is it to travel to neighboring countries. So far only Europe and Asia meet my criteria. But we shall see where my future jobs take me.
loved this video, you raised some really good points! I was born and raised in nyc and didn’t really enjoy the city life. Been thinking for the longest time that I’d want to live in a more rural part of the us but don’t know where to start/if I will be ever able to find a community there as a black muslim woman. I’ve been thinking a lot lately of living in a different country as well and not limiting myself to the states as I look for where I’d like to make a life. I’ve been to a few countries in Africa that I’ve loved and I can definitely see myself living in
Thank you so much for touching on such important concepts. 👏🏾🙌🏾Perfect timing. I have been contemplating these points a ton lately. It would be so helpful if you could expand more on your experiences with the community aspects of travels?! 🙏🏾
6:05 I'm not trying to be rhetorical and grill you about Colombia but how do you go about finding if the country you choose is developing to your liking or will be over the time?
Hey Kelsia!! I’ve missed your videos so much & I hope you’re as happy as you appear in your videos 😊 is there any chance you’d be able to do a video about being/becoming a digital nomad? I wanna escape the rat race too

These are real things to take into consideration.
I have great admiration for you, to just pickup and go as a single woman. You are my hero,
I love how you just get right on into it!! Love you girl ❤
Would you mind doing a video on how to start being a digital nomad? Every time I research it I can never understand exactly what it is.

Okay will do!
How are you going to live there? What visa you plan on?

pay attention to whos running the government, what the locals are saying, what do the locals hate/love about their country?
You can finish your degree online. I did it while living in Spain.
unfortunately I cannot! I must finish at my school.
