    Love seeing other people that think about bags as much as I do.
    Haven’t thought about a Milky Way for years. Might have to eat one soon after seeing your enthusiasm for them.

      Finding the right gear is a lot of fun for me. I'll upload a video later this week on my Rehose backpack I got last month - I can nest everything in it including the Ulanzi and the DJI Air 2S.

    Dude I've been trying to find a nice camera bag for months but couldn't decide. Just heard Ulanzi made one, saw your video, and pulled the trigger. Thank you for such a great no-nonsense video, and for providing a comparison against similar bags. I appreciate it!

      Glad I could help! I'm impressed by the Ulanzi bag, especially for the price point. I feel like all the options at my local camera store in the same price range are really cheaply made in comparison, and I really like how this bag wear.

    After using a couple of sling bags, I've learned that having a zipper compartment at the back is really convenient (mainly as a phone compartment). Cause I also bought the Bellroy 9L, and it's great! However, it's kind of hard to find a place for my phone, that's convenient to reach and won't be mixed in with other items i have in my edc that could potentially scratch or damage my phone. This is why I find myself gravitating back to my previous sling, the tomtoc minimalist edc sling that has a outside back zipper compartment, which is a perfect sling imho if you only have a few edc items. But the capacity/shape is lacking and prevents me from bringing my camera along. I'll give the ulanzi sling a try, thank you sir for your insightful video! Much appreciated!

    I'll have to check out that Ulanzi shoulder bag sometime for my A6000 setup (yeah I know it's an old model but I don't shoot much anymore and didn't want to spend too much on another body at first). I picked up two of their smaller SP-01 Vlogging pouches, one I use for my RX100 MkVI accessories.
    Maybe consider getting a couple 18650 rechargeable batteries (one as backup) for the Fenix, or several Fenix RCR123s (just be mindful that some other brands of RCR123s are slightly different lengths and two may not fit in the Fenix). along with a decent 2-4 bay charger. Much more cost effective than running dual CR123s.

    • @Mike_Lynn
      @Mike_Lynn  Год назад +1

      Solid suggestion. The Fenix came with a B18650CA rechargeable battery and a charging cradle, but I lost the cradle awhile back. I'll look into a replacement and an additional battery. Same with the vlogging pouches, I hadn't seen those.

    Hey, can that dji bag fit a camera, something like a6700 size, and maybe additional lens

    • @Mike_Lynn
      @Mike_Lynn  25 дней назад

      I don't own an a6700, but I err on the side of yes. If I emptied the bag I could fit my A7S3 in there with a 20mm lens. With the drone and controller? Definitely not.

    Any updates about your EDC in Sep 2024?

    • @Mike_Lynn
      @Mike_Lynn  25 дней назад

      Thank you for asking! I should do an update. I cycle between the Wotancraft bag, and my OTW backpack depending on how long I'll be walking for. Long days I use the backpack to save any neck pain.
      My loadout has been consistent which I think is a good thing. I added a Nitecore flashlight (affiliate link: amzn.to/3ZxFegM) and a small carrying case for my notebooks and sketching materials.
      That's something I should highlight - I've got a few product ideas, and I've been working on my drawing skills to bring them to life. I have a whole (minimal) kit in my backpack now.

    Looking to get one myself. Do you find that the zippers scratching up against your lenses and camera when removing your system. Unsure if the "opening" is wide enough to smoothly removing the camera without getting scuffed against the zippers all the time

      I haven't found the zippers to be an issue at all with my setup. They're smooth, high quality, and the mouth of the bag opens wide to remove my camera without any problems.
